Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Kamo River

Great location with a convenience store nearby and a couple restaurants right outside. There is a cheap parking spot right outside the Airbnb as well. There is also the temple right next to the Airbnb so it’s made super nice and scenic just being outside of the Airbnb. I highly recommend this place.

We had a wonderful stay. The house is large and well appointed. The host was very helpful and responsive. It is only a few minutes walk to the train station and bus stops/metro. The neighborhood is very quiet, safe, and walkable. We would stay here again when we come back to Kyoto.

Before our stay the owner was very caring, always going the extra step to help us out in regards to public transport and sightseeing Providing even recommendations and even car transportation. Accomodation was warm and welcoming, tidy clean, filling breakfasts every morning aswell. Would recommend to anyone looking for an authentic Japanese stay with a welcoming host. Perfect for groups over 4+. A million stars would be given if not for the limit. Our group cannot thank them enough.

Excellent location, minutes away to Kyoto Station and shopping mall. Love the traditional Japanese home experience, only minor setup was the washing basin area outside toilet is abit too small and cramped. Thank your Sakara for the host. 😄

My fifth time staying here. Still a favorite spot! Always comfortable and the balcony experience is great anytime of year. The Kamo river is so special. This time I had friends and family visiting at the same time staying at other places in the neighborhood and Ken was so generous with his recommendations and assistance making reservations. Really above and beyond. We were all so grateful!

Great location, lots of restaurants and bars for night life, convenient access to bus and train stations within walking distance. Only negative is that the apartment is on the 4th floor, and there is no elevator. I didn't realize that at the time of booking, and it was difficult on my sick dad's knees. Still, it a great place with a great location and sufficient space and beds for you to be comfortable during your stay.

Our stay was excellent! The place was beautifully decorated, very clean and comfortable. We felt very much at home. There was a 7-eleven right up the block and the train station was close by as well. Would stay here again.

This time, I went to Kansai with my friends, stayed at Xiaodai's house for three nights, it was really great, the elegant Japanese tatami villa, the interior is also beautiful, the living inside is very comfortable, the villa is located in the rich part of Kyoto, the environment is very good, although it is not in the center of the city, the amenities are very good, the subway and convenience stores are within a very short walk.And then, Sister Dai is really super nice!Very enthusiastic. He answered all kinds of questions on WeChat before checking in. He drove to Kyoto to pick us up at Yamashina Station on the day of arriving, and then gave us a detailed introduction of how to play in Kyoto. How to take a car, let us contact her on WeChat at any time when we encounter problems. The last night also took out a treasure of wine. It made me feel like a host, but a good friend who has been hosting me in Japan for many years.

It was a nice, almost four storey apartment. The place is 20 mins away from the station. But it was a nice walk from the station if the weather is good. The view from the place is great. You can see the lake and the mountain. We love the nature the most.

The owner's elegant and lovely personality everywhere, such as the building, garden, and facilities, and it was a very beautiful place to stay. Your explanation and response were also very polite and helpful. The BBQ and bonfire in the garden with the scent of golden rhinoceros were fun and exceptional.The breakfast you provided was also very delicious, and everyone had a great trip from beginning to end. We'd love to visit again if we get the chance.

Private rooms can also be separated. It's private and protected. It was good. You can see Lake Biwa from a large window. It was a beautiful view. I want to use it again.
