Very convenient location in the heart of the city. Walking distance to many shops and restaurants and was very quiet and peaceful in the evening.

Great apartment for our family of 4. Good size and having heated floor was a nice touch. Beautiful view overlooking the park and shrine. Good location. The glass shower in the kitchen is a bit awkward but nothing a good schedule can't solve. Overall, we had a great stay.

The host was also very kind and had a pleasant stay. It was the best value✨

I stayed here for a month and loved it! JR line right down the street that goes right to Kyoto station. Busses nearby with access to all over the city + shrines. Great for tourists and great for people living long term locally since it's surrounded by a bunch of fantastic restaurants and has a grocery store directly infront of the house. It made my Kyoto stay very nice. One of the cleanest places I've stayed as well! The only downside I can think of is that it's on a road with a hospital just a few minutes away so there were quite a few ambulances in the area so it made sleeping with the door open kind of difficult but that is not a fault of the home at all. Would definitely recommend to friends and family in the future!

We had an early check-in and our host received us with a warm cup of tea. Gave us local recommendations and showed us how to get around. It was really close to the Kyoto station and a comfortable place to stay in.

I love this place because it’s literally right behind a convenience store, tucked away in a quiet enclave. Its blocks away from Kyoto station and the accommodation space itself was perfect for my travel needs. Owner lets you check out late (if possible) for a small fee per hour, which is a major plus for people like me who always tend to rush. I’d recommend to others, most definitely.

Cocrorro hotel is great. The station and Family mart are literally steps away. The room was cozy and comfortable. The only thing you need to be made aware of is there is no elevator, so you will have to carry your luggage up the narrow stairs. It’s a great value! I plan on staying there anytime I come to Kyoto!!

I recommend staying here, it’s super central to the city and you can get anywhere easily and explore further out even if you manage to see all the things around the area! Will definitely stay here again next time.

The host was very welcoming. He picked us up at the bus stop and offered us snacks. The location is not far from the bus stops. So it can be accepted even it is far from the downtown. Very cost-effective.

This place was awesome! There was an informative recommendation guide provided, the inside was very clean and spacious, and overall an authentic experience!

I stayed for 3 nights and 4 days on my trip to Kyoto and the location was really good. I was able to walk to major tourist attractions such as Cheongsu Temple and Nishiki Market, and I came from Kyoto Station in 20 minutes by bus. The host was very kind and responded quickly. Overall, I was satisfied, but the bathroom is very, very cramped. The bed is also a little small for two adults. I think it would be fine for two short girls, or a solo traveler to stay. Thank you!

Very lovely place! As the description mentions there is no elevator so it would be a bit difficult to carry huge suitcases to the airbnb so possibly pick a room on the second floor instead. Besides that it was very lovely and a very convenient location. The host was wonderful and helped explain everything clearly!

A perfect place to stay in Kyoto. Super close to the station, yet private enough! Lots of great things nearby and many amenities provided.

The place is conveniently located near Hanazono Station, just 15–20 minutes from Kyoto Station, making it highly accessible. It’s clean and quiet, providing a comfortable environment for your stay. However, a potential downside is the lack of early check-in options and no facility to leave your luggage at the accommodation. Considering that Hanazono is 20 minutes from Kyoto Station, storing your luggage at Kyoto Station and then exploring the area can be inconvenient. While this might not be a dealbreaker for everyone, it’s definitely something to consider when planning your trip.

Great place however wasn’t aware washing machine and dryer was paid and shared. Also had to pay 200pp/night for accommodation tax

The place was great! Quick and easy access from the train station. The host has described the way and check-in in detail in advance! Top location! Clean and quiet! We were there for 1 week in January. I asked for blankets and got soft extra blankets. Plenty of towels and bath towels were provided. Clean and new bathroom. Kitchen fully equipped, fridge and microwave clean. Tips on the surroundings and all restaurants. 5 out of 5 points

Had a lovely stay and had all the amenities I needed.

Nori and Fumi were absolutely amazing, from the beginning to the end! They even received our luggages ahead of time and picked us up from the train station. The apartment was beyond our expectations; the bed was so comfortable and the biggest one we had in Japan, spacious living space and kitchen. The ability to do laundry was just icing on the cake! Breakfast was served every morning and it was delicious! Nori gave us an option of doing a traditional Japanese or American breakfast at the cool cafe. The location was right outside of the chaos of Kyoto but very close to the train/bus, restaurants, conventions stores, etc. Fumi took us to a local spot every morning and dropped us off closer to where we wanted to be and gave us recs! The experience with Fumi and Nori was just invaluable. We long to come back and visit them as they are just the most wonderful humans! It was great getting to know them and making new friends in Japan; they added so much to our trip. Thank you so much

Super great house, near Kyoto station, bus stop in front of the door, convenient transportation.There is also a kitchen where you can cook, and there is a big supermarket on the side.We sent our luggage to the apartment in advance and helped us sign and put it in the room, and it was very convenient for self check-in.Compared to the hotel, there is more space and it is also free and comfortable.Great value for money and I would recommend to anyone!
