Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Kyoto

Masako was the friendliest host we've ever had, she picked us up from the train station (even though we got in at like 11 pm), she showed us the local restaurants on the way to the airbnb, gave us a quick walk through of the place to show us where everything was. she even helped my son with his shoes and to wash his hands. she is always responsive and so incredibly kind! The airbnb was so nice, about a 15 min walk from 2 train stations eith plenty of food options. its like walking into a fully stocked house. so nice! will always recommend her airbnb!

A beautiful home with lots of space for families with children. Close to Aeon Mall and Kyoto station. Host was very responsive and made our stay memorable.

Before our stay the owner was very caring, always going the extra step to help us out in regards to public transport and sightseeing Providing even recommendations and even car transportation. Accomodation was warm and welcoming, tidy clean, filling breakfasts every morning aswell. Would recommend to anyone looking for an authentic Japanese stay with a welcoming host. Perfect for groups over 4+. A million stars would be given if not for the limit. Our group cannot thank them enough.

Good place for group of people to stay, had great experience with surrounding such as local shop and sake factory nearby as well . landlord did provide recommendations for where you can go around in terms of restaurant, the other city near by and other out door activities. Great place to stay !

The location for the house was in a quiet residential area which is accessible to convenience store within walking time of 2 min. The supermarket was about 5 min walk and if you want behind the road, it is much quieter and safer. Host was very responsive and gone out of her way to fetch use from the home to the station and vice versa everyday when requested. She even offered good insider tips to travel with ease. She even help us to buy over our ICOCA cards without the need to get it refund in the airport. She also helped us reserved the return train ticket with seats. The home is very clean and I am impressed by the water pressure from the tap for shower. Much better than those in the hotel. She even proved 2 sets of foot wear, one for within the hour and 1 for outside the house. The location is definitely a good place if you like serene and peace. For those who drive you can park beside the home and the highway is a stone throw away. I am very happy staying for 6 nights.

Lovely traditional Japanese experience. Our host was most accommodating. Ideal location to shopping and popular sites in Kyoto. Neighborhood experience with locals that was unparalleled. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting Kyoto who are adventurous!

We absolutely loved our stay at Ken’s place! To start, he was incredibly responsive and informative before we even arrived with all the instructions we could need to find the place with ease plus sent a whole list of fun things to do and restaurants to try. The location can’t be beat as it is incredibly walkable or with easy access to both bus and train stops. The stay was very clean and just what we needed for a few days in Kyoto! Would absolutely stay again!

Great location, lots of restaurants and bars for night life, convenient access to bus and train stations within walking distance. Only negative is that the apartment is on the 4th floor, and there is no elevator. I didn't realize that at the time of booking, and it was difficult on my sick dad's knees. Still, it a great place with a great location and sufficient space and beds for you to be comfortable during your stay.

The house is located in the relatively center of Kyoto, very quiet, and it is comfortable to walk nearby when there is plenty of time.The room is large enough for three people.The check-in reception on the first floor is also very friendly ~ Overall, it is a very good value for money.

We have been to more than 100 AirBnBs around the world. Ken and his apartment are truly outstanding and, after staying for 4 nights, we immediately rank them the BEST. Ken went an extra mile in his help rendered to us. Ken welcomed us in person and gave us lots of local recommendations. His apartment has an unbeatable location that is close to everything while it has all the privacy and quietude. The decor of the apartment enchanted us at first sight. He prepared everything for us neat and tidy, even including salt and pepper. The bedroom is comfortable, like any plush and chic hotels in the world. The terrace refreshing, and we felt at home on the first step into it. He has a well-equipped kitchen. They have all kinds of silverware and cutlery. Ken is working very hard to ensure everything is more than alright for us. We are so grateful for his kindness and generosity.

Our stay was excellent! The place was beautifully decorated, very clean and comfortable. We felt very much at home. There was a 7-eleven right up the block and the train station was close by as well. Would stay here again.

The owner's elegant and lovely personality everywhere, such as the building, garden, and facilities, and it was a very beautiful place to stay. Your explanation and response were also very polite and helpful. The BBQ and bonfire in the garden with the scent of golden rhinoceros were fun and exceptional.The breakfast you provided was also very delicious, and everyone had a great trip from beginning to end. We'd love to visit again if we get the chance.

This time, I went to Kansai with my friends, stayed at Xiaodai's house for three nights, it was really great, the elegant Japanese tatami villa, the interior is also beautiful, the living inside is very comfortable, the villa is located in the rich part of Kyoto, the environment is very good, although it is not in the center of the city, the amenities are very good, the subway and convenience stores are within a very short walk.And then, Sister Dai is really super nice!Very enthusiastic. He answered all kinds of questions on WeChat before checking in. He drove to Kyoto to pick us up at Yamashina Station on the day of arriving, and then gave us a detailed introduction of how to play in Kyoto. How to take a car, let us contact her on WeChat at any time when we encounter problems. The last night also took out a treasure of wine. It made me feel like a host, but a good friend who has been hosting me in Japan for many years.
