"The Land of Pristine Rivers! A private inn in Gifu Prefecture with an atrium and a cozy stay around the Irori fireplace!

奈央Rating, 5 stars2 months ago
It seems that there are many summer users, but we used it in the middle of winter.I was able to enjoy the snow scenery rarely seen due to heavy snowfall. It was very cold, but I enjoyed watching the fire in the wood stove and making teppanyaki and pot in the fireplace. The supermarket is the closest and about 16 minutes by car, so it's a good idea to come to the inn after shopping.Bugigawa Onsen, about 20 minutes by car, was also very good.I used the pizza oven to bake and eat pizza and bread in the snow.Fortunately, the snow stopped, so there was a problem with grilling and eating on the spot.I didn't feel that cold because there was no wind. The child was in unusual snow.(High school student) I think summer is a great place!

Natural Log Cabin Hakusan

Easily one of the best Airbnbs we’ve ever stayed in. The house is located in a beautiful and serene town surrounded by nature but close enough to town so that if you wanted, you could easily walk into the center and enjoy restaurants and cafes. We particularly loved the Insect Museum! With a car you can do trips to the bigger city of Kanazawa as well as other surrounding attractions in nature. The house was inviting, comfy, and most of all spotless! The bedrooms were prepared for us, the bathrooms were basically sparkling, and the living room; with its wood burning stove was so cozy! I’m not being hyperbolic when I say it was completely perfect. We are grateful to the hosts for offering up their beautiful home and their amazing hospitality. We truly cannot wait to go back!

[Maximum of 10 guests!] Stay like a local at Takayama Stay Karatachi DX-A

Spotlessly clean and well-organised! The apartment had plenty of clean towels and essential amenities. Free parking right in front made it super convenient for families. No staircases—great for kids and elderly. The bedroom fits two queen beds, with comfy linens. Bathroom and toilet were spotless. Quiet area, yet walkable to Kokubunji Higashi restaurant street and Valor Takayama Minami Supermarket. For breakfast, we enjoyed Rinrin Café (run by a lovely elderly couple), Nanten Café, and Pickin Café (20+ only due to smoking area). Nearby bakeries include Train Bleu (delicious French pastries) and Koti Koti (pretty cookies and baked goods). We also relaxed at the nearby public onsen, Tenryo-no-yu—clean and soothing. For nightlife, Dekonaru Yokocho opens from 5 PM to 3 AM with food stalls and local vibes. Perfect stay for families or anyone seeking comfort, convenience, and local charm.

Host couple are very friendly and nice Can feel the maintenance and care of the house Little details everywhere This time, it's a six-person building. There are a total of three rooms Two of them are Japanese tatami mats to make their own bed We slept very comfortably ~ The environment is also very quiet There are many restaurants in the neighborhood for example: sushiro Mito coffee and more because we are self-driving ~ so it is quite convenient It was really good value for the price going down on average one person for over seven hundred for one night

Hyo: A house where you can stay with your pet and BBQ. Conveniently located 20 minutes from Magome, 40 minutes from Achi Village, and 60 minutes from Nagoya

At first glance, the house looks dated. It is a traditional, rural Japanese home that reminds me of my grandparents' house. While the furnishing and facilities are slightly old, it is still a comfortable house nonetheless. The toilet is modern and new so that is a plus. The house is also conveniently located along the main road with a couple of food options like KFC, Sukiya and Family Mart within walking distance.

Hoshizaki Japan's Achimura | Entire rental villa (maximum 6 people) | 1.5 hours from Nagoya

HaraRating, 5 stars2 days ago
Surrounded by quiet nature, it was a very good place to refresh. The air and silence at night were especially impressive, and I was able to fully enjoy the starry sky for a short time. However, it is a little difficult to access because it is deep in the mountains. There are many narrow roads and curves, so you may need to be careful if you are not used to driving. Also, there are more insects because of the natural environment. When I opened the window, cicadas and bees came in, and I was a little busy dealing with them.If you don't like insects, I think it would be safer to bring insect repellent. The weather wasn't very good this time, so I thought it would be nice to have board games available to enjoy indoors. There were some things that concerned me, but I gave it 5 stars because I hope they will be fixed. This accommodation is recommended for those who want to spend a relaxing time in nature.

Ken’s place was a wonderful weekend getaway from the hustle and bustle of the city life. Nestled deep in the woods, we were able to relax and be surrounded by nature. Although the weather was a bit cool for this time of year, we were still able to enjoy the outdoor BBQ and fire pit. I wouldn’t hesitate to come back again, albeit in a bit warmer season.
