Vacation rentals with outdoor seating in Kailua-Kona

The home was as described. It had plenty of space for our family, and all the amenities that were listed. We did move the "breakable" decore out of the way as we had toddlers in our party. There were actually some beach umbrellas avaliable (guessing from previous guests) and coolers/beach chairs avaliable. The A/C is not super strong, but worked well for us in the January weather. Overall my family and I had a great time.

We had a wonderful stay! Beautiful location, description and pictures are accurate. This Airbnb has the most equipped kitchen I have ever stayed at, it's got everything! Beach chairs, umbrella, snorkeling gear available for use as well. Clean well maintained home. I would definitely recommend this Airbnb.

Stunning view — even more beautiful than the pictures. Waking up to the view and having breakfast on the porch everyday was one of the highlights of our entire trip. Location was also convenient for all places we wanted to go.

This was our third time back and Laura’s place is beginning to feel like our home away from home! It is cooler than downtown making it feel perfect outside and in. The view is lovely as well. There was plenty of room for my 4 adult sons to spread out and stay content. I would definitely come back!

Great place to stay for our trip. We spent every evening on the lanai. Plenty of room and lots of extra beach toys available for use during the week. Super easy to walk downtown Kona for dinner and happy hour. Owner was super friendly and helpful.

Amazing place, very clean! This is a great home base for exploring the island. The weather at this elevation makes for amazing sleeping weather! Can't wait to get back to the island!

Lynn's Airbnb is a private, quiet space in a semi-rural family neighborhood. It's beautifully decorated, clean, comfortable, and has a kitchen fully stocked with utensils, towels, gadgets, and everything you'll need to feel comfortable. Lynn provided lovely beach chairs, a fabulous beach umbrella, a cooler, and cheerful beach towels for us to use. I really enjoyed this space, along with the beautiful patio. Views from Lynn's property are unbeatable! The neighborhood is quiet, lush, and green. It's a welcome space away from the hustle and bustle of downtown Kona, but amazingly close if you want to go anywhere downtown. I also appreciated the fast, reliable WIFI. Lynn is also a very professional host who is proactive, responsive, welcoming, and very gracious. I highly recommend Lynn and this Airbnb, and would stay here again if I have the opportunity. We had a great stay at Megan & Vincent’s place. House is close to great snorkel spots and town but far enough to not feel Like you’re in town. Would definitely recommend.

An absolutely lovely house! Besides the terrace there are so many little touches that set this place apart, ex. coffee grinder for the coffee beans to enjoy a fresh coffee on the patio, well disigned layout with plenty of space, huge "master" bedroom. Besides the perfect sunset from the patio, you can also see the sunrise from the kitchen window appearing behind the mountain. Not in the center of the city but in a quite neighborhood with a few spots to visit close by, ex: Greenwell farms, which offers free tour, Shaka Tacos for food, a farmers market. The only complaint we had was that we only booked it for 2 nights :(.

Apartment was clean and bed was comfortable. It is a small place and might need some updating. Pool has great ocean/sunset views. Parking was directly outside door. Patio was great.

Nate’s place was easy to find as he gave us clear directions. Upon arrival we found the accommodation was very pristine and very homey. Beautiful surroundings. Kanen’s place has such a breathtaking view of the ocean, it is even more impressive than the pics online. The place is also clean and feels like home, you can find everything you’ll need in the place, Karen is also very responsive.

We could go on all day why this was a great place to stay. It was our first Airbnb experience and it was well worth every penny. It was comfortable, clean, and cozy. Inna has thought of everything down to the finest detail. It was well furnished and was ready to just come in and make yourself at home. It is centrally located about two blocks near the busy parts of Kaluia with easy access to all the fun stuff to do in Kona yet secluded enough in a quiet spot where you could relax at the end of your fun day with no worries. To have a parking spot of your own that you can pull straight into without having to parallel park and have easy first floor access is very valuable when staying in Kaluia. If you're looking for that perfect place to stay when you're vacationing in Kona, do check this place out. You get so much more than staying in a hotel room and its reasonably priced. Terry's place was very nice, conveniently located (close, but not too close to the shopping district). You can watch the ocean from the property and walk down to it. There is not a beach in the typical sense, but it is really cool to walk on lava rocks as the waves hit and look at the marine life in the tide pool. There are lots of surfers and you can get lucky and see a whale or two. The unit was very clean and well kept with all the necessary comforts.

What an amazing location! Don't forget to bring binoculars! We spent most of our time on the lanai watching the waves and we saw so many dolphins and whales. The beds are comfy, the kitchen has all the equipment you need to cook with. Condo was very clean. Holly was super nice and very responsive. The waves are loud 24/7 - we found it perfectly soothing and relaxing to sleep to but if you are a sensitive sleeper you might want to bring ear plugs. Close drive to everything but comfortably secluded from the touristy areas. We will definitely stay here again.

Brenda's condo was exactly as advertised. It was clean, quiet, had all the cooking appliances, utensils etc needed, free parking, a lovely deck and a closet full of beach stuff (chairs, flippers, snorkels, umbrellas etc). They have lots of linens, towels and beach towels as well. The night time lights in the pool area were very pretty to watch, and the sound of the ocean was wonderful. It was in walking distance to a few small stores, beaches etc, but not really to the main section with restaurants, costco, souvenirs etc. This was not a problem since we had a car. I would suggest renting a car if you want to see the sights of the Big Island. Brenda allowed us a late checkout and was very friendly and helpful. I would definitely return.

Great accommodations. We loved hearing the waves crash at night. It was so lovely Kristina gave us a bottle of red wine. Such a nice personal touch. In a central location. Just be mindful of the parking lot is a bit narrow, but doable as long as you are careful.

We loved Christie’s place! Exactly what we wanted - clean, comfortable, quiet, well stocked, great location and a gorgeous view right by the ocean! It was so great sitting there watching the whales, dolphins, sea turtles and surfers while enjoying our morning coffee every day! Thoughtful touches like beach gear to borrow and extra chargers/kitchen stuff make this rental special and we can’t wait to book it again. Christie was super nice and responded quickly when we had a special request. Highly recommend!

This paradise is an excellent spot for your Kailua-Kona-based vacation! It is right on Alii Drive, close to the ocean and town. Sherry had beach chairs and a surf board, anything you could want for the beach. The king bed is super nice, and having the windows unit AC helped when it got warm with no breeze in the evening. we also used the pullout couch/bed, and it was surprisingly comfortable! I would rent from Sherry again, and I would rent this location. Perfect jumping off spot for our Big Island adventure.

We enjoyed our stay and wouldn't hesitate to rent again from Marco. The condo was well equipped for cooking and relaxing. There were only two of us so we couldn't comment on the sleeper sofa. The washer and dryer were convenient and worked well. Marco always responded quickly to our questions and concerns. The views out to the pool and shore were excellent.
