We had a wonderful time at Sunset Escape. Our stay was much longer than normal--one month. The unit was great; we enjoyed having a full kitchen and washer/dryer in-unit. The temperature indoors was very comfortably maintained just by leaving the windows open and using the ceiling fans. The host, Elliott, was very respectful of our privacy and also responsive to our needs. There were a few small maintenance items that he attended to promptly after we reported them. He also graciously allowed me to borrow a folding table to use as a desk while we were there. We will cherish the memories of our time in Kona for a lifetime.

Wonderful stay! Looks like the pix, and the views and landscaping are beautiful. The cottage is perfect, and we spent most of our time there enjoying the front porch. Location is great, easy drive to locations all over the island and plenty of good restaurants nearby. Highly recommend!

It is so delightful when ones expectations which are already high are completely surpassed. We enjoyed our stay so much at Christine‘s place. We were a big family and we loved the many different decks to relax and enjoy the beautiful view as well as the large kitchen and living room to gather and eat, laugh, play games and chat. Everything we could possibly need was provided. We really appreciated the cooler, boogie boards, and snorkeling gear, too. And oh that hammock !! If we come back to Kona, I would absolutely love to stay at Christine’s place again. Highly recommend! PS The driveway is super steep but it was all a part of the adventure! PPS We saw whales from the deck.

Wonderful location, private with beautiful grounds. Loved watching the wildlife in the mornings. Kitchen was well stocked, had a bit of trouble with the stove, but finally figured it out. Everything looked exactly like the photos, so no surprises. Would definitely recommend, especially as the host was very helpful and responsive.

James and Anna were amazing, and their house was exactly what we imagined from the pictures. James was awesome with advice on local beaches, snorkeling spots and gave us so much information on weather conditions coming up. You wouldn't have thought anyone lived next door, the hosts were awesome at making it feel private. James was super helpful, and was great at making himself available when needed, without a bother at all. This is by far the best AirBnb we've stayed in! We'd definitely love to come back.

Peaceful Hale exceeded expectations! We stayed for a week with friends, using it as a base for day trips. I wish we’d stayed here longer instead of 2 nights in Volcano (though Volcano Treehouse was unique!). The outdoor showers, spacious lanai, and serene surroundings were highlights. It’s near activities yet away from big resorts. Kalia was incredibly helpful, offering advice before and during our stay. Her beautiful garden was an added treat. Mahalo for an amazing experience! Travel Tips: - Arrive early for public parking at Mauna Kea Resort beach. I lucked out going at 4PM. There can be construction noise. - Happy Hour at Seafood Bar & Grill - Waimea: Weds/Sat farmers markets; GJ’s Huli Huli chicken on Sat/Sun by Kamuela Liquor; Sandwich Isle Bread Company; get reservations for lunch/dinner at Merriman’s, get provisions at Long’s. - Great snorkeling at Beach 69, Puako Bay, and Māhukona Beach Park - Food trucks with shave ice, coffee, and malasadas are at Rt. 19 and Puako Beach Dr.

Our recent Hawaii trip was made even better thanks to our fantastic Airbnb stay! The place was perfect—clean, cozy, and close to amenities. The sunset view is fantastic. Anee, Sam and Tish, our hosts, were standout. When we had a minor hiccup with the washer, they responded quickly and got it sorted out without any hassle. Couldn’t ask for a better experience—highly recommend!

Chris is an amazing host and is very clear in his communication. House was exactly as described. Very clean and well maintained. Kitchen was stuffed with a lot of condiments and a lot of attention to details. Yard had many fruit bearing trees. A quick drive to nice beaches, restaurants, grocery stores etc. All in all we were very satisfied.

This was our second stay in this condo and was just as pleased as we were the first time. We liked that the Queen's Market was so close and super easy access to A beach as there was plenty of parking. The location was exceptional and the resort area was very nice. I would definately recommend staying here.

Comfortable bed and room with outstanding views from the shared lanai. The Keurig coffee set-up was very convenient and combined with the microwave, tea kettle, and small fridge was perfect for our needs. Michael and Shawna are exceptional hosts and we enjoyed chatting with them about the garden. We especially appreciated fruit from the garden and access to a washer, dryer, beach chairs and umbrella. Highly recommended.

Perfect location for being in downtown Kona! Walking distance to everything!! The Airbnb was supplied with lots of beach chairs, a cooler, beach shoes, and an umbrella! The condo also had shampoo and conditioner & body wash! The kitchen was fully stocked! Even had spices & condiments! The condo was very clean & came with lots of towels & blankets! Would definitely stay here again! Cannot recommend enough!

We had an incredible time staying at the Kensington Villa. House was immaculately clean, well appointed kitchen/baths equipped with everything you could possibly ever need, clear instructions for use of everything, pool, gym & hot tub right across the street, grocery store 5 min away, great recommendations for activities and restaurants (Canoe house was amazing), very responsive host, beach so close (with the BEST snorkeling), gorgeous views, ample parking, all the beach gear you need, extremely comfortable beds, and beautiful decor. My son’s friend has cerebral palsy and is in a wheelchair- we had no problem getting him in and out of the house. He stayed on main level and did not have to deal with stairs since there is a bed and bathroom there. I would highly recommend renting this Airbnb from David and enjoying the beautiful Mauna Lani Resort. Thanks David!

We enjoyed our stay! We had a few hiccups (one which was totally not the fault of or due to the property of the management or the owner but they graciously helped us anyway!), but all in all a great stay and would stay again! The management company was SO responsive and helped in any way they could. We had elderly parents as well as young kids, and the place was great for all of us. We enjoyed coffee in the lanai, and the location was great for us - 3min to the market, 15 min to queens and kings marketplace, etc. We felt safe and never had an issue finding a parking space. Thanks for a great stay!

This cottage is a beautiful stay. The views are incredible and the cottage is perfect for what it is for. Heads up - there is no air conditioning - this surprised us at first, but found that to be the standard for most of the island. There are fans and with them it can be pretty comfortable. Just make sure to pack light PJs.

Wonderful place. Check in was a little confusing as I had not understood that you cannot park at Ocean Towers but also do not need to check in at the main lobby at Hilton. However, everyone was very helpful. The apartment was updated and very welcoming. Great bed and great bathroom. Amazing views from the Lanai and for the most part of the day not in direct sun which is perfect to just hang out and watch the whales.

We had a spectacular stay. The home is located near the best beaches on the big island as well as resorts if you want to grab a day pass. It’s located equally between Kona and Hilo with easy access to the north of the island. The home is stocked with everything you would need for an island vacation, with access to grocery stores and restaurants within five minutes. The longest trip was to the volcano, but we did it easily in a day trip. Jeff was very responsive and his listing is full of recommendations. I truly cannot recommend this home enough. If I could build a replica where I live, I would. It’s truly an oasis. My kids and I absolutely loved it. Jeff really thought of everything in the home that you would need. As a bonus, the internet was perfect for movies after a long day of adventures. There’s a beautiful sunset view from the deck and master, as well as a water fountain that is the best way to start and end the day. 100/10 stay!

If you want somewhere to stay where you’re away from tourist scene, this place is perfect. It brings nature into comfortable lodging, being able to hear the ocean, birds, and frogs from your bedroom. Lots of amenities, easy check in and out, and I liked the location. Comfortable beds, lots of cooking items, and good informational binder and books. Everything needed for the beach. I’ve driven a lot of steep roads, but this one was the most steep I’ve encountered, but totally manageable for my rental car without 4WD. It’s best if you know how to downshift into a lower gear. Absolutely fell in love with Pebble Beach and spent a lot of time there. Quiet and safe neighborhood. Highly recommend for anyone seeking peaceful surroundings.
