Pineapple Palace~OceanViews~Pool~KonaCoast~Volcano

TannerRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Stayed here with two younger kids. I was looking for a place with a view, pool, and away from the hustle and bustle of our normal lives. This location served up everything we were looking for and more! Plenty of space for the kids to play, including a loft that had a good assortment of books and toys and natural light. The kitchen was GREAT! I enjoy cooking and felt right at home. I don't feel like Albert showed enough of that in the listing. There was enough space for us to comfortably cook, host some family for a dinner party, and make drinks. Very well appointed with pots, pans, utensils, cooking dishes, tupperware, and cups/wine glasses. The two bathrooms were clean and stocked. The master bath had a very nice jacuzzi that worked well. Bedrooms were all clean and beds/sheets were all very comfortable. No complaints at all. The pool is unheated and was chilly in the mornings but okay in the afternoons. You simply cannot beat the amazing view and sunsets from the balcony!

Ohana Aloha

PamelaRating, 5 stars5 days ago
Our family’s time at Robert’s Airbnb was magical. The early mornings sipping coffee on the balcony enjoying the ocean views are memorable . The home itself is thoughtfully constructed, with large spaces to relax and enjoy the beauty of sights and sounds. The three bedrooms were comfortable with little touches everywhere (bench for suitcases, robes, tissue, reading lamps at the bedsides). The bathrooms were modern and spotless, again with everything you might need from makeup remover to paper cups. The modern kitchen is large, open with lots of everything dishes, utensils, appliances etc. Robert so generously provided enough fruit for several days as well as breakfast essentials , and treats. He was very generous with his time sharing knowledge of his fruit trees with our family . There are several books on Hawaii available and a binder of recommendations . Such a beautiful place with so much to do and see, we needed more than 2 nights to truly explore the area. Thx Robert!

Lawaia Sea Lodge - Downstairs - Hosted

PaulRating, 5 stars7 months ago
Aloha Gary! We stayed in your place next door a few years ago and had the time of our lives! When I spoke with you then, it turns out you knew my old Geology of the Hawaiian Islands professor, Dr. Carl Johnson. You mentioned our textbook was by your old professor--we still reference that text from time to time in our work as civil engineers on Hilo side. Jessica is just as full of aloha as we remember, and she even brought us an ono loaf of banana bread. We can't thank you enough for letting us bring our rescue kitty! She's only about 5 weeks old now, but our vet says she's in good health and even though she still drinks formula out of a baby bottle, she uses the litter box. She was a perfect angel and loved your place as much as we did! We hope to stay again and again in your place of heaven on the bay. Mahalo nui loa, Paul and Colleen "Zelda" Nash

Hulili Farm - Pineapple Cottage

ArielRating, 5 stars3 months ago
One of our all time favorites Airbnb stays. The pineapple cottage was situated on such a beautiful farm, with an incredible view of the sea. The cottage was so cozy and had all the amenities we needed and more. We slept so well in the very comfortable beds and enjoyed spending time on the front porch, watching the sun rise and sun set. Our hosts were so helpful and kind. We had so much fun adventuring around the Homokua coast, one of the most spectacular areas of the Big Island. We definitely recommend this stay and hope to visit again:).

Luana Ola Blue Cottage Ocean View

JulieRating, 5 stars1 day ago
My stay at the Blue Cottage was lovely and peaceful. I'm a frequent traveler and also an Airbnb host so I think I'm pretty discerning about what makes a great place. The cottage is eclectic and funky, but in a good way as it was also very clean. I appreciated that there were a few basics left in the refrigerator and cupboards from past guests. I especially loved the screened in porch and small uncovered area which has a lounge chair. The views from this cottage are wonderful, surrounded by nature and opening up to the ocean beyond. The walk to town was easy with just a small hill (it wasn't a cardio workout for me as another guest had described). Do bring your earplugs as the roosters are very active. The noise from the bugs was particularly musical in the evening. While I was there, I took a shuttle tour to the Waipio Valley - I highly recommend it. The restaurant "I Luv Dumplings" has excellent food.

Tsing's place is an absolute steal, a gem in a quiet beautiful neighborhood. Her yard is beautiful and full of Asian aesthetics. The infinity pool on the backyard looks over the coastline facing the west with an amazing view of the sunset. In addition, Tsing is a very friendly host with good local recommendations. I want to stay here again the next time I visit Kona again.

Tropical Getaway two-room apartment on gated farm.

ChristyRating, 5 stars10 months ago
Enjoyed our stay on the farm. Jonas was very helpful and responsive. He helped my daughter with snorkeling, my husband with our house search, and shared great places to visit on the weekend! We have been at Jonas’s for over a month and have always felt right at home. Along with all that, Jonas has been kind enough to host our 3 dogs! A rare find in the island. Mahalo

Great place to stay in Kona! It is walking distance from the main area. Lots of food places, little shops, & night life. It’s also a short drive away from grocery stores, which is perfect for utilizing the kitchen during a long stay. Highly recommend staying here while visiting the Big Island!

Booking was easy and user friendly. Just like the images, everything was exactly as pictured. Everything was clean, organized and in working order. Very quiet neighborhood. Love that I can buy groceries and cook like if I was at home and save a little money for souvenirs. Instructions were clear and easy to follow. Love the back patio with places to sit and enjoy the fresh air. Diana is an awesome host. Met her and she was very friendly. House keeper was also a nice and hard working lady. Will definitely be coming back to this airbnb next year. Thanks!

Oceanfront Balinese House w/Hot tub@Kehena beach

KevinRating, 5 stars2 months ago
We had an amazing stay at this truly unique home! Built in Bali and shipped to Hawaii, the house is a masterpiece of wood craftsmanship, blending traditional Balinese architecture with the natural beauty of its surroundings. The intricate open-air design, and thoughtfully curated details made it feel like a tropical retreat unlike any other. The atmosphere was both peaceful and inspiring, with plenty of space to relax and take in the stunning private environment. Everything was well-maintained, and the hosts were welcoming and attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed for a perfect stay. If you're looking for a one-of-a-kind experience with cultural charm, this is the place to be. We would absolutely love to return!

Hawkeye Haven

LisaRating, 5 stars3 days ago
Hawkeye Haven was great for our family (2 adults, 2 teens)! We enjoyed being in the area of the Waikoloa Beach Resorts but still having a sense of home with bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen and lanais to come home to and spread out in. The birds in the morning were fun to listen to...also, the condos must now have a couple turkeys that have taken up residence! :) Shane and his on-site contact were very attentive and responsive, easy to communicate with. We were very pleased with our stay. Go ahead and book Hawkeye Haven!!
