Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Iowa City

Perfect set up for our group, very comfortable with plenty of parking.

Nick's place was clean, cozy and had everything we needed...even got to use the garage! The location is perfect and close to pretty much everything you need it to be in Iowa city....10 minutes to downtown, Coralville strip, etc. The bedrooms and bathrooms were spotless and plenty of room and spaces to just hang out.

I quickly booked due to a cancellation and he approved me immediately and was not too sure about it because of a bad review but gave me a chance anyhow… we were glad and everything can’t out nice and as planned. Enough space and all …. I was pleased!!

Another great stay! Our grandkids absolutely had a blast in this house. They can’t wait to come back. It was the best thanksgiving spent there. So much room and beautiful setting. Love love this house and Liz. Highly recommend

This was our third stay at George's place. The neighborhood is quiet, safe and conveniently located. We will definitely stay here on our next trip to Cedar Rapids.

This is the second year we have stayed at Riad’s place to attend an Iowa football game and we will be back! Super clean, great host and great location.

We had a great stay. Everything was clean and ready to go! We all enjoyed that they had marked the type and firmness of the mattresses, it was nice because everyone could choose which one they wanted to fit their needs.

Katherine and Blake are spectacular hosts! Check in and checking out was a breeze! Their home is fantastic! We had everything we needed for our family of eight! It is a warm cozy cottage home away from home in a terrific neighborhood close to everything you need! I highly recommend the home as well as the hosts! Our stay here made our Thanksgiving trip amazing! We will be staying there again when we visit Iowa City!

These folks were amazing. Everything was great. My lightbulb went out and they even came and replaced it. They walked me through the property before I ever got there. They shouldn’t have had assisted me with such an early check-in and had no trouble. They helped me. I truly enjoyed my stay here. It was amazing price for the valueand if I come back to Iowa, I will come to these people again.

Wonderful Airbnb in a peaceful country setting, yet easily accessible to neighboring towns and cities. Wonderful hosts-our grandkids loved the hot tub. Plenty of sleeping space for our family of seven. Open design of the living space was nice. Overall, a great experience.

Great place to stay for any reason! If you need a place to stay on a trip or you just want a weekend away from home. Dave’s place was clean, welcoming, and enjoyable. I definitely recommend staying if you are in the area!!

My husband and I had wonderful stay at Sue’s place. We had a lot of family activities to attend around the Thanksgiving holiday and this was a peaceful, beautiful place to retreat back to after a long day! We wished we could have stayed longer. We will be back! 😊

We immensely enjoyed our stay at the Ausadie building. Very cozy and relaxing. We would love to stay again next time we’re visiting Cedar Rapids.

Has everything we needed without having to pay for things we did not.

Beautiful historical space with artistic touches. Lots of privacy for up to three couples or a family, with three lively bathrooms and many TVs. Kitchen is gorgeous and fully equipped with high end appliances. Lovely old neighborhood, walkable to town and to fabulous bakery. Felt like the Golden Age of Airbnb with lots of treats and surprises. Julie was a great communicator land makes it easy on guests so they can relax and enjoy the space.

Great stay! I have stayed in some really luxurious airbnbs, but none of them have anything on the comforts offered in this adorable, little rental. From shampoo to spices, tissues to lots of coffee and easy to program TV(don’t judge me, but I’ve struggled at other places), it was easy to make a comfortable stay. They thought of all of the details. It was remarkable. We will totally be back.

The home was perfectly spacious with plenty of room to lounge. The two living areas were robust and had ample seating for the family. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was stocked with all the necessities for a home cooked meal. The outdoor space is limited however this wasn’t necessary for our trip considering the cold weather. This place is perfect for families who need a space like home. I’d highly recommend!

So walkable. Great restaurants, bars and a small grocery store that has everything you need within a block. The apartment is modern, beautiful and has a great kitchen if you want to cook a meal for your U of Iowa student. Would highly recommend.

We really enjoyed our stay at Cherly's place. It was easy to access, nice view of the town square, and looked just like the pictures. Her place had all the extra things you need when you are traveling like toiletries, paper products, some snacks, coffee, and cleaning products. The place had lots of space and is very well thought out for people who stay there. Cheryl responded quickly to any inquiries I had and accommodating to our needs.

We had a wonderful stay. It was a nice, cozy home away from home. The accommodations were exactly as described. Thuy was very quick to respond to our special needs. She was also kind, friendly and compassionate.

Clean and comfortable space. Responsive and friendly host. Easy check-in and check-out. Peaceful location short drive away from restaurants, shops, and the University of Iowa campus.

Kyle's Airbnb is beautiful and spacious. It is decorated with very nice pictures, pillows and furniture. It is so much better than a hotel or motel. We enjoyed our visit, a lot!
