Nice place to stay with plenty to see around! I worked remotely here and enjoyed the kitties daily visits on the back porch! In unit laundry was wonderful and having all the appliances I needed- kettle, microwave! Thanks for the great stay!

Great place with lovely views

Burma’s beautiful home is ideal for anyone who wants two bathrooms (hard to find in Iceland) and plenty of space. It’s in a quaint small town very close to the Golden Circle and not far from Selfoss, which has more substantial amenities. Easy drive to Gullfoss and Geysir, and a small grocery is within walking distance of the house. The views from the sunroom are beautiful. The kitchen is modern, functional, and spacious. The outdoor area, including the hot tub, is wonderful in the evening. The nearby restaurants, including those in Reykholt, are wonderful! We highly recommend this place for people who want extra space and don’t want to stay in the busy capital city. We’d stay here again in a heartbeat!

Clean, comfortable, and cozy—the perfect base for exploring southern Iceland! Our family of four enjoyed our stay here very much. Plus, they have the sweetest dog who greets you everyday.

Our group had an incredible stay! The location was the perfect balance of being wonderfully remote, offering peace and quiet, yet still conveniently close to several attractions. We loved coming back from a day of exploring, knowing we could unwind in such a serene setting. The property had everything we needed, including a fully equipped laundry, which made our stay so much easier. One of the highlights was being able to see the Northern Lights right from the property—an absolutely magical experience! We couldn’t have asked for a better spot and would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a mix of adventure and relaxation.

We were grateful for the opportunity to spend time on this beautiful piece of Iceland in a well designed and cared for home. Aurora watching, reading folktales, and enjoying the hot tub were all highlights.

Property was very nice and located at good place, we were 7 peoples who got accommodated very easily and had a great time together Swimming pool club was the great attraction near by we haven’t image that we can swim in a pool (temperature controlled) while snow storm is going on ….. host was very helpful and responsive if needed

Great stay and walkable location in downtown Reykjavik. There were plenty of restaurants, coffee shops, grocery stores, and nice shopping within walking distance of this house. People with limited mobility might have trouble in this house, as there are multiple stairs. We appreciated having a designated parking spot

We had a fantastic stay at this Airbnb! The space was ample for our family of five, allowing everyone to have their own room and privacy. The included parking was a huge plus, especially in a city where parking can be a challenge. Our host was very welcoming upon arrival, making us feel at home right away. The only minor drawbacks were that check-in felt a bit lengthy after a long flight, and a few appliances could use some upgrades—our toaster worked inconsistently, the coffee machine's water compartment leaked, and we had some initial confusion with the dishwasher. That said, these were small inconveniences in an otherwise excellent stay. The home was comfortable, well-located, and well-suited for a family. We would highly recommend it!

Our stay in the design cottage was the perfect ending to our Icelandic adventures! Anthony was an incredibly wonderful host greeting us upon arrival and coming to bid us farewell before we left for the airport. It is evident how much Anthony enjoys hosting guests. We even had the opportunity to meet the family’s precious dog, Luca! Anthony gave us great suggestions for dining in the area and provided lovely personal touches to our stay. A late check-out on the day of our departure allowing us to linger in luxury just a bit longer was greatly appreciated. The home itself could not have been more ideal. The decor is beautiful and the surroundings super comfortable, a true home away from home. The heated bathroom floor, exquisite lighting, beautiful kitchenware, exceptionally comfortable beds and overall feel of hygge made this stay not only enjoyable, but also truly memorable.

We traveled with an infant and since no one was using the place the day before, Hildur allowed us to come straight from our flight! It was so incredibly nice of them and my daughter appreciated the opportunity to catch up on some sleep. Overall, the place is beautiful, spacious, and had an incredible review. I’d recommend this AirBnb to anyone!

A stay at this lovely place gives you a high-end experience, no doubt. The house is spacious, clean, well organized, has super tasteful interiors, and a hot tub as the cherry on top! I was simply left with a "wow" after check in and seeing all the small details Thorunn pays attention to. She had made sure that we would not lack a thing, and the instructions she provided us with answered litterally every questions we had during our stay. What a perfect host Thorunn is! Highly recommend✨
