The location is great (close to Route 1) and yet totally secluded, offering a beautiful environment.

We had the most wonderful stay at Alfatstein - the house was gorgeous and was in the most beautiful setting. Loads of space, very clean, and with all we needed. Anna was so kind, showing us her farm (our kids loved holding the kid goats), booking us a meal in an amazing restaurant in the local town, and even messaging to say the Northern lights were performing their magic! We had a great day exploring the peninsula - just wish we could have had longer than the two nights we’d planned here. Thank you Anna and Oli!

The house is big and there are many beds. But, indeed you need to be aware of the stairs. The place is beautiful, a very good choice for a group of friends.

My daughters and I had a magical stay at Sunna's house between Christmas and New Year. The house is beautifully positioned by the water with spectacular views and a short bus ride into town. It was warm, cosy and had all we could ask for. Thanks Sunna!

This was the most wonderful little cottage, I absolutely loved my stay. The view is beautiful and everything is so peaceful. I loved walking through the village and the ferry ride was relaxing and reliable. The cottage feels like home. I am so glad I stayed three nights and could easily have stayed longer. Sitting in the hot tub at night you will get the best star show. I didn’t see aurora during my stay, but I bet that’s incredible. Bjorgvin sent very detailed and helpful directions and everything was easy.

Fjola's apartment has a beautiful private location near Borgarnes. The beach and cliffs invite you to take a walk, our children felt very comfortable, also because of the animals and the homely surroundings. Fjola is a very friendly and warm host!

We stayed with our two adult children for hunting some northern lights. The accommodation was exceptional and exceeded our expectations. A true recommendation if you look for a private, clean, quiet and modern stay with stunning views. Ragnar was always available and a helpful host.

We have stayed at Philip's place several times during our particiation in Fossavatn ski week. Philip has been very quick to respond to any questions. A very friendly, welcoming and helpful host.

Great place to stay for the night. Close to several restaurants and everything is walkable.

We had a wonderful stay at Reynir og Ingibjörg’s place! The accommodation was cozy, clean, and well-equipped with everything I needed. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and responsive, making sure I felt comfortable throughout my stay. The location was perfect, offering a peaceful and scenic atmosphere while still being conveniently accessible. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway. The apartment is occupied by the owners outside of rental periods, making it a clean, cozy and functional apartment. It is quite well located close to the sea and a 20-minute walk from the historic center. It is also possible to take public transport to get to the city and the BSI terminal (Bus station). We enjoyed the communication with the owner who helped us organize our stay. I highly recommend this apartment which met all of our expectations.

The house is comfortable, warm, clean, well equipped and in a stunning location. The hot tub is easy to use and very nice to relax in. We stayed 3 nights and could have happily stayed much longer. Despite the weather (cold with low cloud and rain) we loved the views over the water and the snowy mountains. We drove up to Siglufjordur which is beautiful, walked on the causeway in front of the house and on Dalvik beach which is gorgeous, and did the classic whale watching from Dalvik and saw humpbacks, minke whales and porpoises. Also visited Tjornes peninsula and Husavic. Unfortunately the puffins left early this year so we didn't see any, but the coast is dramatic and we did some good walks. All fantastic. Thanks Ragnar.

We had a very nice vacation thanks in part to this beautiful accommodation. It is a little remote from Akureyri; which can also be seen clearly on the map. But with a rental car you can be in the city center within 10 minutes and you can go anywhere. We would definitely recommend this nice place to others!

We traveled with an infant and since no one was using the place the day before, Hildur allowed us to come straight from our flight! It was so incredibly nice of them and my daughter appreciated the opportunity to catch up on some sleep. Overall, the place is beautiful, spacious, and had an incredible review. I’d recommend this AirBnb to anyone!

Beautiful location almost on the water at the edge of a narrow fjord. Three beautiful rooms, and all the necessary equipment for a road trip stopover in Iceland.

Absolutely loved our stay! The host was 5-star—thoughtful, responsive, and made sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing visit. The place was spotless and so well-equipped. The mattress was incredibly comfortable and the hot tub was an amazing touch that made the stay feel extra special. Highly recommend!

We really enjoyed our stay here as the last stay of our Iceland trip! Really peaceful experience and a beautiful sunset.

We stayed at this place for two nights ( 3 adults and 1 kid). It is very well equipped, you'll find everything you need for grilling or regular cooking. Views are breathtaking, and if you're lucky with the weather you can just chill outside and enjoy the fresh air. Hosts were very friendly and quickly answered all our questions. Instructions are perfect. One thing to note - if you use google maps, don't put the address there, use the coordinates. Address is correct, but google maps directs you to wrong location ( though, not far from correct place ).
