Beautiful place, great kitchen and awsome location. cannot recommend enough!

The house is set in the most stunning setting and is very peaceful. Moreover, the furniture and everything provided made our stay very comfortable. There are also several great restaurants in the vicinity, despite the remote setting. All of Tomas's recommendations were excellent, especially the restaurant at Skalakot and Kvernufoss waterfall.

It was a lovely and peaceful stay at the guesthouse. We even got to see the Northern lights! I would definitely return.

We had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb! The amenities were exactly as described and met all of our needs. Having a fully equipped kitchen made it easy to cook meals. The host was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay. They were quick to respond to any questions we had. We would definitely recommend this Airbnb to other travelers!

We had a lovely stay in the Wee cosy house. Everything you need is right there.

This cottage is amazing. She gave the GPS coordinates and we got in late but even finding it at 1am was easy. The nature of the whole peninsula is incredible and this was a great place to stay to be close to many of the interest points. There were also some cookies left in one of the kitchen cabinets that we enjoyed. Also, this was the only spot we saw the northern lights on our entire trip!

The place is in a beautiful quiet location, we wanted to get a real taste of Iceland and were not disappointed, Brilliantly located for the golden circle The hosts give you plenty of privacy, we felt right at home! Absolutely recommend this place! We’ll definitely be back !

Wonderful farmhouse with plenty of bedrooms, fully equipped kitchen and great views. We loved the horse and sheep! Easy to find with instructions. Bathrooms are a little small but manageable. Very gracious host with clear communications. I would recommend this welcoming home.

Great, quiet place to stay! Location is wonderful, only about an hour from blue lagoon and hour and a half from airport. Would stay again!

I rested well in an independent location with good scenery and pleasant condition of the accommodation. There are 4 rooms, so 4 people had a very good rest ~!!

Stunning location on the horse farm. Incredible views of the sunrise and stars/northern lights. The spa is beautiful. Everything was really clean and the beds were comfortable. Would highly recommend this spot!

We stayed just one night at Kolla and Jói’s seaside cabin as we were on a whirlwind trip around Iceland’s Ring Road. However, we left wishing we had planned to stay longer! The cabin itself was wonderful—cozy, beautifully located, tastefully decorated, well equipped, and offering stunning views. We were incredibly fortunate to witness the most breathtaking aurora borealis dancing over the sea, a truly magical and unforgettable experience. Kolla was exceptionally kind and provided invaluable information, making our brief stay even more memorable. We hope to return soon to spend more time soaking in the beauty of this place and to properly meet Kolla, Jói, and their lovely dogs and horses. Thank you for sharing this little slice of paradise with us!

Sigurborg’s house flawlessly combines unique qualities of Iceland by creating a cozy, warm and comfortable environment while being surrounded by raw and beautiful nature. It’s ideally distant from the crowd but close enough to a lot of the golden circle attractions. The kitchen is clean and well equipped, the bedrooms are comfortable and the bathroom is pristine. There are some lovely Icelandic horses that came around every morning to say hello which was just magical. As the host suggested, we also took the ferry to Westman island and we loved it very much! I highly recommend this place and cannot wait to come back in the future!

The cottage is located at the end of 210, start of the F210, and it takes 20 minutes to drive after leaving the ring road. Since the location is quite remote if you look outside from the cabin, you'll see nothing- no human settlement or civilization- but the breathtaking landscape of Iceland. A perfect place of feeling "in the middle of nowhere" (we drove there in the snowstorm at night; the road wasn't too hard to drive) Zero light pollution, a proper place for spotting aurora. The landlord lives in the region, so instant help if necessary. (No privacy concern cause you won't see his house) The cottage is very clean, with a well-equipped kitchen and a life-saving washing machine with a dryer. Saw the strongest aurora the night of our stay here! There were no washer and dryer in the house though. Everything else was perfect

So glad we booked this place! Such a beautiful location and the accommodations were wonderful after a long trip. Hosts were easy to communicate with. Just wish we had time to hang out with the animals!

The villa was beautiful and very clean! Lots of extra towels and toiletries available, tea and coffee, fridge with water filter, and tons of plates and bowls to use. The washer and dryer was a great plus and helped me and my family pack light. Beautiful home and would 10/10 recommend :)

We had an absolutely amazing time staying with Elsa and Magnus! From start to finish we felt absolutely welcome especially from all the furry friends coming to our door. The kitchen, room and common areas were spotless and had everything you need! A welcome bonus was the delicious homemade bread left for us in the morning for breakfast!

We booked this airbnb for our last day in Iceland and were able to see the northern lights from here. It was amazing. The house itself, from the photos, we didn't realize one of the bedrooms were just upstairs on an open space. Since we were two families, that was a bit uncomfortable. Might be great for families but it was very uncomfortable for us that we heard every single noise/step made by others. Other than that, everything was nice. Thank you so much for hosting!

My wife and I spent three nights at Johannes' spectacular home in early October. The location of the home is sublime: every window contains a breathtaking view, and not just of Kirkufell! The home is warm and well appointed. The floors are radiant heat, and the furnishings elegant and tasteful. We did not use the hot tub or sauna (too busy out and about!), but they are perfectly situated for views and privacy. You will need a car to access restaurants and stores in town. You can walk to Kirkufellfoss easily. All in all, one of the most wonderful home stays we have ever had across many countries! Thanks, Johannes!
