Great, walkable location. Exactly as pictured and described. Hosts provided excellent instructions for finding the listing, as well as local restaurants and attractions.

This is our second time staying. This place has a beautiful view of Lake Missaukee. We were arriving late and check in and out was easy. Walking distance to restaurants. It had everything we needed. Host was very responsive.

It was an absolutely great location, with private access to the lake. It was very affordable, and matched the description. The unit has ample pots and pans, towels, and a large TV to watch movies. The only downside was that there wasn't enough seats to all eat together, since there are only 2 stools and 2 chairs, and the unit allows for 8 people total. However, it isn't a deal breaker. I would definitely and plan to stay here again!

Could be a little confusing to get to without the clear instructions given at check in. Appreciated quick responses when we had questions!

There were 4 adults staying for Labor Day weekend. We had more than enough room for all. We have vacationed together for years. We all agreed this was one of the nicest places we have ever stayed. So well put together and everything you could ever need. The yard was beautiful, the deck had beautiful views of the lake. The furniture was very comfy and there was nothing more we could have wanted.

Beautiful comfortable home. Josh was very responsive. Had one small issue with the furnace but we got it solved together. Nothing bad to say at all. Great host! Would stay there again.

I highly recommend staying here. We had 9 kids with ages ranging from 10-20 and they all had a great time, never complained about being bored. The house was big enough to where they could have their fun even when the adult needed to sleep. The house was very accommodating and the outdoor space was absolutely perfect.

Renee was such a delight to speak with throughout the entire process, very quick to respond and extremely helpful. Her place was very immaculate, and so spacious, just as described in the pictures if not even better in person. The beds were the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in. My family and I will definitely be back when in the area again! Thank you so much for providing my family and I with a place to make so many great memories at, we had a blast here! ☺️

This place was amazing beautiful inside and out. Great location would recommend it to anyone who wants to be on Houghton Lake during winter and I can only imagine summer be an even better. Rebecca was super responsive and super friendly.

This place is a cozy gem. Awesome spot. Quiet. Loved the fireplace and we saw the Northern Lights from the deck! Ruth is attentive and friendly. Top notch stay and highly recommended.

Jenna's place on Lake Lure was exactly what we wanted for a long weekend getaway. We were there to relax and to try out the lake ice fishing. We caught tons of small pike and some panfish too.

My wife and I had a great time staying here. We arrived and had some issues with the keypad which were quickly resolved by the host. We enjoyed two quiet and peaceful nights in Fife lake and enjoyed the local restaurants. We will definitely keep this in mind for future trips to this area.

We had a great family winter time! A lot of space, kids enjoyed the xbox room and bunker room! The Lake view is amazing. Host was great providing all information and support when needed. House was well equiped and clean. On summer should be even better! Definetly a great space to stay!

Great place to rest and regroup after a busy day of vacationing, or running around town. The hammocks outside were a pleasant surprise. Space was clean, with great views of the lake.

Room is setup like a hotel room or motel. We got confused by the Air BnB check in instructions cause when they were listing 1. 2. 3…. At first we took it as the parking spot we were assigned to was #2. But then we realized the parking is based on the room number matching the spot number. It was an easy place to sleep for the night but we spent most of the time in Traverse City since a lot of places seemed closed in the town. When coming and going there were a lot of spiders on the porch and a couple in our room corners. Beds were clean. The shower did take a bit to warm up. The host does leave notes warning that the hot water takes about 5 minutes to warm up. There is a fireplace you can use down near the water. A few benches are scattered in the yard so you can enjoy the view of the lake. It was beautiful to watch the fog move over the water in the morning. They do have kayaks available but we didn’t use them. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

This was a great place to stay close to Traverse City! Nice & relaxing! We took advantage of the fire pit area & made some s’mores! We loved the ice cream place mad swirlz close by! :) I wanted the room with a recliner & they were very responsive and helpful!! Thanks for a great stay!
