We booked Natasha’s place at short notice for an overnight walking the SDW. Easy to find off the trail, cosy & comfortable with the log burner and good local pubs & cafe in S Harting for dinner & breakfast

This is a peaceful and tranquil stay, perfect to unwind. The cottage is spacious, well-appointed and extremely comfortable. There is lots to explore in the local area, or you can enjoy cooking, relaxing or reading indoors.

My wife and I had a great and peaceful stay over New Year's Eve. We explored the area and can highly recommend the accommodation. It is a bit chilly in winter, but there was a portable electric heating. In addition, the road to the accommodation is very adventurous, at least in the last few hundred meters you have to hope that no one comes towards you. The beds are a bit soft, but many people like that. Otherwise everything was perfect and Gill is a wonderful, very friendly host! Thank you very much and see you next time!

We loved our stay in the Annex. It was very cozy and the grounds were beautiful with lots to do. We brought our dog with us and he loved the fenced paddock and field across the road. Our daughter loved the kids play area and we also had great fun on the massive trampoline! Runner ducks and peacocks in the garden! Winchester was a 20 min drive. All-in-all a brilliant few days!

Beanie and her parents were extremely helpful, hospitable and friendly. We received just a wonderful warm welcome upon arrival, the log burner was on, the underfloor heating in the bathroom was on and lots of goodies for us to enjoy. Beanie provided clear instructions getting to and from the cottage and communicated well throughout our stay. We loved it so much that we ended up staying a further night to enjoy the peace and quiet. It was a little cold during our stay but, managed to get the central heating on with Beanie’s dad’s kind help. We would love to return to the cottage again soon. Thank you for a delightful few days out in the countryside.

We loved staying at the Turkey House this autumn. Straight out of the house you can walk through the beautiful woods up the Ashford Hangers and to the Poet’s stone. It is cosy with the Aga - never used one before but so easy and efficient to use. There is an electric stove but that wasn’t needed. The house has a ‘lived in’ feel. The well-stocked spice cupboard was very useful.

Firstly Steve & Sue are very responsive to messages. Pictures on site are exactly as property. It's a very cosy, pretty cottage on their poultry farm,and it's attached to their home. Lots of parking, gorgeous views over the valley below. Steve was there when we arrived and was very welcoming. They kindly left us bread, butter and eggs from their farm which were delicious. I do like nice touches like that. Kitchen was very well stocked. We were celebrating Christmas, and there was plenty of equipment, bowls and such like which was great. We loved our stay and you can tell that they have made sure to make it feel like a home with lots of books, some games, and so forth. We really enjoyed our break there. Just what we needed.

Amazing stay!! was lovely and cozy, super close to the beach and other shops and cafes. Guy was a great host and let us have a later checkout on NYD which was appreciated. Would recommend!

A beautiful retreat! I cannot thank Amanda enough for this lovely stay. It had everything you need to feel at home, very clean and super comfortable! The bathtub with salt and bath soak was a real treat. Amanda was super responsive and super helpful. A lot of small attention that makes a difference. It has everything you need and more thank you again! ☺️

Our stay was excellent! The hosts were incredibly communicative and responsive. We had a team of engineers staying for work near by, and the house was perfectly suited for our 2 week stay. Bedrooms and bathrooms were private and the communal area (kitchen, sitting room, dining room) were very spacious. The back garden view including the regular visits by deer was excellent to wake up to! Highly recommend for both work and pleasure!

This barn accommodation is superb. Spacious, beautifully decorated, very well equipped especially the kitchen and a delightful friendly host. Highly recommended

Jane and Mark both contacted us to confirm check-in information, which we were really grateful for, and they responded quickly too. The cottage is really sweet and just perfect for 2 people to relax and feel at home away from home. We loved our stay, thank you!!!

The Orangery is a lovely place to stay with lots of character. Great amenities and facilities on site also. Our puppy loved the surroundings for lots of walks. Would highly recommend! Hosts were very responsive and quick to resolve any queries we had. We plan to revisit again in the summer once the weather is warmer!

As all the other reviews note, this is an incredible AirBnb. Charlotte is a wonderful host--so kind and helpful! The space is gorgeous and staying there in the winter is made cosy with all the blankets, the hot water pouches, space heaters, and wood stove. I will definitely try to come back here one day. The pubs--both less than a 20 minute walk away--are super cosy and fun to spend time eating/drinking/chilling at. Wish we had more time to enjoy the country walks which are available via a gate right on the property. The farm-fresh eggs were an extra treat!

This place was absolutely amazing so peaceful. When the hot tub got to temperature it was so lovely to relax in, highly recommend.

We had a fantastic stay in the beautiful Sussex countryside. The accommodation was perfect for our family, our toddler loved the horses and friendly dogs. Nick and Nicole were super hosts and we appreciated extras like a welcome hamper and dressing gowns. Although the weather was cold and wet, the cottage was very warm and cosy: a real home from home! would definitely recommend and love to come back sometime!

Lovely spacious flat, very cosy. Kitchen was well equipped. The views are amazing and miles from busy villages. Nice touch with the breakfast hamper basket with bacon, eggs, homemade fresh loafs and milk. Will return in the future for a walking weekend.

The cottage was very lovely and cosy, we felt at home! It was very tidy and clean. The garden is also lovely and has a nice view on the fields and horse. Ann and Bob are very friendly and interested in their guests, but respected our privacy as well. They also gave usefull information about things to do, where to park etc. We would recommend this cottage! The low ceilings might be a bit of a challenge to taller people, nevertheless they also contribute to it's charm. We had a lovely week!

Keith and Jean were absolutely amazing hosts. They picked us up & dropped us off at the train station. Their place was beautiful, so many little details thought of. Towels & outside shoes for the hot tub, water next to the bed etc. The beds were like sleeping on a cloud, so insanely comfortable. The backyard was incredible. A perfect little oasis of peace. We had the best girls weekend away we could've asked for. Thanks so much for having us, we will be back for sure!

A delightful 17c cottage with enough mod cons to make it a perfect stay. Extremely comfortable beds and quiet surroundings priced for a really peaceful nights sleep. Henfield itself is a great village within easy walking distance of the cottage. I would definitely recommend Croft Cottage for a relaxing holiday.

One of the most gorgeous places we have stayed. Didn’t want the trip to end. Clare’s home is beautiful, the area is so peaceful and everything from the ducks to the deer to the hot tub and place itself are absolutely magical. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting to explore a beautiful area but also ranting to wind down and relax.

Really loved staying at the Cart Lodge for the weekend! Thank you Alison for being so kind and helpful! We really appreciated the kind touches- a bottle of wine and some biscuits on arrival! The space was very nicely decorated- we especially loved cozy fireplace! Would love to come back next year!
