Family-friendly vacation rentals in High Peak District

This was our third Christmas at the property and it didn’t disappoint. We love staying here, the property is so clean, modern and spacious, it has everything you could possibly need whilst being away from home. A wonderful stay in the cottage! Perfectly dog friendly, excellent enclosed garden. Hot tub was ready for use and the log burner was beautiful. Jennie was easy to contact and very helpful when needed. Will definitely look to stay again, highly recommend!!

We stayed here for 3 nights over Christmas and had a lovely stay. Scott was extremely responsive and helpful, his check in instructions were really clear and everything matched the images on his listing. The hot tub and sauna were great and the property is only a short drive (or walking distance) from the village centre with lots of pubs and restaurants. Thanks Scott!

I had a wonderful stay at Serenity Apartments Suite 20, Poplar Court. The apartment was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, making it the perfect base for my visit to Bradford. What truly stood out was the exceptional hospitality of the host, Sadiya. She was incredibly proactive and friendly, exuding that unmistakable northern charm that immediately put me at ease. Sadiya went above and beyond by providing plenty of useful recommendations that made exploring the area effortless and enjoyable. I would highly recommend Serenity Apartments to anyone visiting Bradford. The combination of excellent accommodation and a host who genuinely cares about her guests made for a memorable stay. It was a nice get away from the city life! Really rustic living at this farm, exactly what we needed! The fireplace was an amazing addition to the peaceful surroundings.

Absolutely stunning location with the farm animals around. Hosts on site so you feel the support is there if needed but everything is available to you with little signs and notes. Still feels private and very quiet in the mornings for an active farm. Lots to do in the area too, we ticked off Water World, Tatton Farm and Chest Zoo if you’re willing to go between half an hour/an hour to places. Then nice to relax back at the cottage with the hot tub! Thanks a lot

This has to be the best air bnb I have ever stayed in. What a place. Cannot thank the host so much for letting us stay.. Not only did it have all the amenities you can ever need, but the whole area was tranquil and relaxing. We went to the local pub which had great pints and atmosphere. Will be booking again in the future!

We had a wonderful stay at Sam and Annie’s place. The cottage is so spacious for two people, and was very comfortable. Lots of hot water and plenty of firewood to keep the fire going. Just down the road from the Monsal Trail, we enjoyed walking into Bakewell and exploring the area. The local pub does great food too! We would happily return. Sam and Annie were always reachable and willing to help with whatever we needed. Thanks again!!

Great Location , easy to walk into Castleton and Hope for food and drink. Cottage was lovely and cosy, and had great views of Mam Tor. Easy to walk up Lose Hill and Mam Tor from footpath next to farm.Maeve was a great Host and couldn't recommend enough.

An amazing property, best I’ve booked on Airbnb. Beautifully presented, extremely clean and very well stocked. You can tell the love and care that has gone into creating this rental and Julie clearly has very good taste. Everything you could possibly need - Julie has included it and she’s gone the extra mile with lovely extra touches. The cottage is well located right in the heart of Tideswell with walks and restaurants on your doorstep. If you have a dog, the boot room outside is fantastic with its warm shower and Julie even supplies dog towels and shampoo. I cannot recommend this property enough and we’ll most certainly be back!

We had a wonderful stay at Lorraine's! The house has a great layout with convenient parking for one car, and additional parking available at the entrance of the cul-de-sac. It's located in the far corner, offering stunning, uninterrupted views of the rolling green fields from the living room, kitchen, and master bedroom. The outdoor decking area overlooks the fields and is private, quiet, and peaceful—perfect for relaxing. The kitchen is fully equipped, and the open-plan living and dining area is spacious and comfortable. The central heating and hot water systems worked perfectly, and as new parents with a newborn, we felt right at home with everything we needed. The bathroom, newly installed, includes both a separate shower and bath. Comms with Lorraine was excellent, and she was incredibly helpful throughout our stay. A small convenience store 2-minute walk away, and Whalley is easily accessible with a 15-20 minute walk or via nearby bus routes with shops, cafes. Highly recommend!

5 stars all round, exactly what we needed. Really lovely place and well positioned but out of the way if you have dogs. Would recommend and would stay again. Great comms pre arrival too which makes all the difference!

We had a lovely stay in Sara's house. She was very welcoming and responsive, even sorting a small issue on christmas eve out very promptly. The house was clean and well equipped with plenty of space for our party of eleven.

A fantastic, homely place to stay in the Peak District. As soon as we booked it all the way till we checked out, Sarah and the accommodation were utter perfection in every way. Highly recommend and will look forward to booking again in the future.

This was our second time at Phils, first time to celebrate my 70th second time for my husbands 75th. When I asked my family where they wanted to celebrate my husbands 75th birthday it was Phils place. Its perfect for our multi-generational family, amples of space and the pool and hot tub are the icing on the cake. We all had the best time and we made lots of memories. Thank you Phil for the use of your lovely home.

It was my first time using Airbnb, and Izzy set a standard that others will find hard to beat. The cottage beautiful was well situated and with Izzy’s list of recommendation we had a great time. I’d definitely look to come back!

Stayed for a few nights over Christmas visiting family. Accommodation was fabulous. Plenty of space, lovely and clean and had everything you could wish for. It was also very cosy. What a fantastic cottage, beautiful surroundings and top it off a superb pool , our family had a fantastic time , kids loved it , it felt so homely

Great value for money. Can't stress enough how friendly and reliable the staff were. We had a lovely week stay, the house was clean, the beds were comfy and the scenery was perfect. We were informed of the booking system for the swimming pool and games room, so you could have the room to yourself which was great. The pool was clean, the games room was kept tidy and the house surroundings were really lovely to walk around. You can tell the grounds were well maintained and kept in good shape as the workers never stopped, but were always so friendly. This property is perfect for bike riders, walkers and pub crawlers. You couldn't get bored.

Beautiful place, lovely people, friendly, happy, well-cared for animals. A gem.
