Vacation rentals with a fire pit in High Peak District

We had a great stay at David’s place. It is as described and a good place for a catch up with friends. David was really helpful with a small issue we had and responded quickly. The house is on quite a busy road, which wouldn’t be for everyone, but it meant it was easy to find and really close to the bus/train/tram Interchange which is great for getting around.

Our stay at Chalet Du Lac was incredible. The photos of the house don’t do justice, it is just stunning. Every member of our group had an amazing time and can’t wait to go back. The location is perfect for that secluded stay but also not too far away from shops etc. to pick up any last bits. The views and stunning and the house itself provides the most perfect atmosphere for both relaxation but also for celebrations. Everything was immaculate. Thank you Soph and Richard!

Absolutely Love this cottage. Like a fairytale cottage amongst the most beautiful grounds. Brian and Judy are lovely and even left more fire logs for us on our return from a day out at chester, most appreciated as we love the open fire. Thank you so much for letting us stay, so peaceful. It was much needed , many many thanks Karen and Paul and of course George loved it.

We had a lovely weekend at Apricot Cottage. A beautiful cottage with amazing amenities. The Christmas tree was a lovely touch and we all enjoyed roasting the complimentary marshmallows over the log fire. Lovely cake and hot chocolate treats too. The beds were so comfortable and the house and whole area so peaceful. Very family friendly. We’d love to stay again in the future and would highly recommend.

Check-in was super easy. The cottage was exactly (if not better) than described and spotless with everything prepared and ready to use including the hot tub. Lovely touches including, tea, coffee and some nibbles. Jim and Diane went beyond to sort horse grooming at the nearby stables for our daughters and always on hand if anything needed. A really peaceful place to spend a couple of days. Highly recommended and would definitely return!

We loved staying at Gag Barn. Beautiful surroundings, Richard was a very helpful, friendly and responsive host. Lovely for dog walking. Warm and comfy place for our family get away. Well equipped kitchen, lots of books, dvds etc if you're at a loose end. We even managed to master the Rayburn oven. Visited Ashbourne, Bakewell, Matlock Bath, Ilham Hall, Dovedale (Stepping Stones and Lovers Leap). Had a delicous meal atvthe Coach and Horses Fenny Bentley. Will definitely rebook if we're in the area.

We had a really lovely time at the Nook. The place is super cosy and nicely designed. Kitchen has everything you could think of and the food/drink left for us was a nice touch. It is only a short walk to some cute shops, and tasty restaurants. The hot tub made our trip, it was a little rainy and cold but being able to have a dunk in the enclosed hot tub and watch the rain was fab. The place is next to a main road, so at times we did hear traffic, but it definitely didn’t affect our time there. Thank you for letting us stay!!

This was a very lovely location to stay in the house was clean and spotless. We had everything we needed in the kitchen. The kitchen was spotless with a clean kitchen and bathroom. The bedroom and the sitting room was spotless. Our house had left some eggs from her chickens which are in the back of this property which we absolutely enjoyed them for breakfast. Highly recommended and I will visit this place again.

If you're looking for a place to stay in Doncaster close to the city center yet far enough away to be in the heart of the countryside, then this is the place for you. We stayed here for five nights and it was our base to visit the nearby attractions. It is close enough to the motorway which allowed us to visit York, Lincoln, and Whitby as day trips.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Nadim was a great host and greeted us on arrival and showed us around. The apartment is self contained, has private secure parking and a large garden. The place was lovely and clean and even bigger and nicer than the photos look on the listing. We had our little dog with us and there was a dog bed in the apartment ready for her, Nadim even popped in to check on her when we went out for a few hours (which was our request). Above and beyond. Excellent place, 10/10. Would definitely recommend to others and stay again in the future. Thank you Nadim

We are two sisters from HK and have a lovely stay, just feeling like a home, at Jo's Hedges from 4 Nov to 3 Dec 2024. Jo is an excellent host. She is friendly, welcoming and responsible. She allowed us an early check in. She recommended a list of good eating places and sceneries to us during our stay. The location of bnb is perfect, just within a short walk to supermarkets, shops, cafes and public transports. The bnb is tidy, spotlessly clean, quiet and safety. The bed is comfortable with supportive mattress. The bathroom is clean and modern. The kitchen has all necessary utensils. We highly recommend Jo's Hedges to other people. We will surely stay at this bnb again if we come to Beeston.

This is the second time we have stayed at The Old Post Office which is ideally located for us to meet up with relatives and friends. On this visit, it was for a family occasion. The cottage has all the facilities you could wish for, it is cosy and in a quiet ideal position. It is also opposite Bolster Moor Farm Shop and Cafe which is great for meals and any supplies you may need. Mike is a helpful host should you need any advice, or anything.

Michelle’s ‘double’ apartment was just perfect for three work colleagues to stay whilst working at a nearby exhibition centre which was just a few minutes walk away. Fabulous decor, fittings and furniture! Wonderful restaurants in the immediate area. Great comms and local info from Michelle. Highly recommended.

Mark is a real super host. Everything was outstanding and anything you can expect for an amazing stay. The things i liked the most; flexible check-in and the level of privacy you get there 👌🏻 Would love to stay again.

Alison has thought of everything. The place is a mini oasis and the personal touches - quality street left for Christmas, fresh bread and butter for breakfast - only added to a wonderful apartment. It was even more beautiful than the photos suggest - quality finishings, excellent location and lots of personality. Alison was great with her communication and very flexible with check-in and check-out. I cannot recommend enough. We will definitely be back.

Detached from reality and the most peaceful evening away with my partner & dog. We arrived just after the agreed check in time, it was really easy to find thanks to Pippa’s detailed guide - we managed to catch the sunset over the fire, with to the log box & marshmallows provided, it was stunning. The lake really is a beautiful spot, perfect for a cold plunge if you fancy a challenge! Lots of nearby walks to take your dog & nearby restaurants and bars, with really great food and friendly locals! We already can’t wait to return in the summer..

Lovely quick stay at Paul's, super peaceful cabin in beautiful location. Very helpful hosts who greeted us on arrival and walked us down to the cabin and explaining how everything works. Great outdoor kitchen with everything we needed. Dogs had a great time roaming around the space. Definitely a place we'd like to return again to.

We stayed 2 nights in Cherry Pod with our 2 children (6 and 3). We arrived in the snow and it was like a magical winter wonderland! Sarah gave us really helpful, clear instructions on how to access to property which made our arrival really simple. Despite poor weather we were so comfortable and cosy all weekend, the scenery was beautiful and we had everything we could have possibly needed and Sarah kindly even left us some birthday treats, which made it even more special. She was also extremely helpful in giving us local recommendations for places to eat and visit for the day. When we were packing up to leave, Sarah also kindly allowed us and the children to visit their 4 very friendly Alpacas, which was an absolute highlight! We absolutely loved our stay and have no doubt we'll be back - highly recommend!

Myself and family have just had a weekend stay at this lodge and it was absolutely perfect. The location and scenery was so peaceful even with neighbours in the next cabin we would hardly have known there was anyone there but us. The lake is a great added touch and some of us indulged in a little fishing during our stay. The cabin itself was immaculate stocked with everything you could possibly need. The bedrooms are spacious and very cosy, and the beds are extremely comfortable. There was 6 adults, a baby and 2 dogs and there was plenty of space for us all. We absolutely loved our weekend stay and could not recommend this lodge enough! We will definitely be returning in the future!

Exceeded our expectations and exactly as described on the listing. If you fancy a secluded house in a scenic location, this is the place. Lots of places to hike locally with great views and no need to drive. Would highly recommend and I have a feeling we’ll be back. Anna was very friendly and responsive. Thanks so much!

Such a lovely little get away, so cosy and in such an idyllic location. Beds are super comfy. We were made to feel very welcome by Rod with the log burner set up for us on arrival, a very friendly host. We will definitely be booking to go back, the welcome treats are a lovely gesture. One of our best nights away in a long time.
