Our home is just a few steps away from the Praia do Populo Beach, which is protected by lifeguards during the Summer. The Populo area is three miles form Ponta Delgada and five miles from the airport. There are three grocery stores nearby and Sunset Beach Restaurant is located across the parking lot with full view of the beach.

The space
Built in the 1930's by our parents, we enjoy using it as our island vacation home every year. Our beach house has had several renovations over the years. It provides basic accommodations within the constraints of space and some older furniture.

Our guests continue to enjoy the best of what our beach house has to offer; a beautiful garden with ample lawns, an outdoor grill, a fully equipped kitchen, internet access, cable TV with over 200 channels, beach towels, umbrellas and various beach toys for children.
