During winter 2025/2026 improvements were made, including adding air conditioning in the
House. The Ribeira dos Caldeirões lodging is located in the Natural Park whith its water mills, an idyllic countryside and point of essential reference on the island.
Around the house there are verandas, you can view and listen to the sound of waterfalls and water course.
You can perform outdoor dining, barbecue, enjoy the many waterfalls and visit the Ethnographic Museum, as well as practice adventure sport

The space
Located in the northeast of the county (the most natural of the island), is fully renovated and consists of a large bed room and bathroom downstairs. On the top floor (which gives access to the house) is the living room with fireplace and kitchen keeps the traditional wood oven.
Housing is prepared to accommodate 4 adults (one double room and living room with sofa bed) and at least one cot for child.
Around the house there are patios, and all the rooms overlooking the natural park, where you can view and listen to the sound of waterfalls and water course.

Guest access
The guests have access to all the Natural Park and its water mills, where they can perform outdoor dining, barbecue, enjoy the many waterfalls and visit the Ethnographic Museum, as well as practice cannoning and other adventure sports.
The lodging also has a snack bar located inside the natural park, which will give full support to guests, as well as a craft shop.

The College of Natural Park of Ribeira dos Caldeirões is an Azorean protected area, located along part of the watercourse of water curse Ribeira dos Caldeirões, in the Northeast of the island of São Miguel.

This natural park is located on the slopes of Serra da Tronqueira and occupies part of the course of Ribeira do Guilherme, riverside where is also located the Botanical Garden of Ribeira do Guilherme.

In this natural park you can observe an abundant and varied Macaronesian flora, where Laurel is dominant and where stand tree ferns large. Also are abundant massive hydrangeas and large cedars.
