Absolutely top-tier stay! Very quiet and peaceful. House had everything we needed-pool/hot tub were great! Very close to the beach and a LOT of great local restaurants! Hosts provided a lot of local recommendations, and responded to any questions we had. They were were great, especially considering they were recovering from a major hurricane. Cannot recommend enough!

This is our second year of staying here. Our hosts were very helpful and even left us little treats to welcome us. We arrived on November 8th, 2024. Weeks prior to arrival, they kept us updated on the progress of Hurricane cleanup. Their home is the perfect location. You can enjoy the ocean just across the street or the pool and hot tub with a view of the channel. Their home is clean and includes so many items that would need on this vacation. They were always willing to answer our questions as well as suggestions to make our trip even better. We feel perfectly at home here and can't wait to return next year.

Great location with the perfect beach house! Property grounds are beautiful and pool is amazing. We loved the upstairs lanai. The house is well equipped with everything you need. The hosts are very responsive and will check in with you to see if you need anything and to make sure everything is perfect during your stay. The beach is quiet and peaceful. The shelling is fun and we saw lots of dolphins and a manatee!

I had a large party of 4 adults and 6 children and there was plenty of space for everyone. The house itself was stunning. We all enjoyed the pool and hot tub. Definitely would recommend others to stay here.

Ulrike's apartment was perfect for two couples. It was very clean and well maintained. The high quality furnishings were comfortable and met out needs. The view was outstanding! Parking under the first floor was a big plus, with an elevator to our floor. We felt safe and had privacy.

My two boys and I truly enjoyed the condo. It was clean, tidy, roomy, well-equipped, and conveniently located. The community was quiet and peaceful. My boys loved the pool and I loved the hot tub. We were extremely pleased. While we were given a unit that differed from our original request, we understood the reason given and we were in no way disappointed with the new arrangement. The unit was perfect for us and we would definitely return. Bea and her assistant were quick to respond to my questions prior to arrival. We had no issues during our stay, so we never needed to communicate while we were there. Check-in and check-out were both extremely easy.

Daniel was an excellent host. Very responsive. We were staying for a soccer tournament, it was an excellent location for IMG, and very close to restaurants and a grocery store. The place was very clean and the condos had very nice pools and a hot tubs. Thanks for the great place and friendly interactions.

We just wrapped up a very nice one week vacation and stay. Kathleen and her husband were incredibly flexible at both check-in and check-out and they went above and beyond to help us. Throughout the trip Kathleen and her husband were very communicative and they came to the property onsite several times to assist with a few small property challenges that came up which were out of their control. The pool and patio area is the highlight of their property. It is so peaceful and cozy and the pool was the perfect temperature and very well maintained. The second highlight of their place is the kitchen which is by far the best stocked kitchen at an Airbnb we have ever experienced. Third, we very much appreciated the abundance of beach gear and baby/kid gear they have onsite. The setup of the house is slightly non-traditional with some sliding doors to shut rooms off but overall we had a great stay. 5-7 minute walk to beach is accurate. Beds were very comfy.

As our second time staying here, it truly feels like our home away from home! Well-appointed, beautiful surroundings, peaceful and close to the beach, restaurants and St. Armand’s Circle. Chris is very responsive, helpful and went above and beyond as a host. We will definitely be returning!

Absolutely perfect for our little family of 3. We felt right at home and enjoyed coming back each night after a day at the beach, just to relax in our own cozy space. Such an adorable house, with a great location close to just about anything we wanted to do. It was wonderful working with Erin and Marie and they were so helpful with any questions we might have had. We definitely would stay there again next time we are in Sarasota.

The house was spacious and clean. Very nice pool area. Easy to find in a quiet neighborhood. Some appliances are a bit dated. But, overall was a safe and comfortable experience. Responsive and friendly host. Would recommend.

Perfect place for family to gather. We were all in town for a funeral but were able to all stay in one place and spend as much time together as possible which was priceless. The house was perfect for us to feel comfortable and rest and talk. Wish it was warmer we would have taken a dip in the pool! But highly recommend. Yvonne was fantastic and responsive when I had a question. Would definitely stay again.

The Tree House was really cute. The GPS directions took us to the front of the house and there was a little sign with a quaint path around to the opposite side of the unit to access Unit B. (There is an alley way, so you can park around back.) The stairway up is actually entwined in a tree :). There is beach access about 2 blocks in one direction and a nice playground, basketball courts and bay views about 1.5 blocks in the other direction. The listing said there were two bedrooms and a couch. I assumed a pull out, but it is a sectional which you can configure to a queen or just a twin and sheets to put on top. We opted to put our three girls in the king bed and take the queen for ourselves. Had all the dishes, towels, supplies we needed. Really appreciated the wagon to tote our things down to the beach! Would stay here again!

Carrie’s place was so great, exactly as pictured. The pool is the icing on the cake - such a great place to relax after long days of beach and exploring. AMI has some great restaurants but with a family as large as ours, we ate most of our meals at home - the grill was great and the kitchen is fully equipped with literally everything you would need. The house was clean, nicely decorated and had plenty of space for our family of 7. Our 5 opinionated teenagers LOVED the house and have already asked if we are going back next year! Easy walk to the beach, easy to drive all around the island. 10/10 would recommend!

Great location for accessing a wide range of local services & amenities. Very comfortable home which suited our family very well. The warm pool was great. Lovely & quiet despite being just off a main road. We had a great holiday in Sarasota despite the recent hurricanes. Thanks!!

Theresa’s bungalow was just as described. Great place to come home to after a day out in the Florida sunshine. Quick response time. On day of arrival, Theresa was quick to answer and help us out after Storm Debby had left a mess in the pool. She instantly had an Amazon order placed and overnighted to us to help in the matter. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay again at Barefoot Bungalow if in the area. Wonderful host!

I cannot say enough great things about the hosts and this place. It was absolutely perfect for our girls trip. Love the patio with lights and a ceiling fan....the beds are comfortable...the kitchen has everything you need. We utilized the washer and dryer a ton and loved the beach wagon and cooler to use for our convenience. These hosts are top notch....I wish I could given them TEN starts. We will be back.......

We had a great experience. The house was very clean and comfortable. In a very peaceful neighborhood with a lot of restaurants around it. The beach is very close just a block away. Overall this place is amazing and I would recommend it to my friends and family.
