House vacation rentals in Faial Island

We were very impressed with our stay at the Atlantic Heritage Luxury Villa. Coming from Canada, we appreciated the level of communication from Carolina (booking manager) prior to our arrival. She was able to accommodate our many requests from airport transportation, to food and drinks, including getting us a bottle of 2013 Czar wine (not an easy thing to do). The home was stunning and had everything we needed for our family of 6. Everyone had a private room and washroom. We loved the large dining room table to enjoy all our meals together. The grounds are private, safe and so peaceful. We absolutely loved the view of Faial and the infinity pool. What made the whole stay special for us was our on-site host Catia. She prepared an amazing breakfast every day, was available for anything we needed, and made many great recommendations. Catia was so kind to our family and she is the reason our stay was extra special. We would highly recommend staying here, and we hope to be back one day!

He's probably the best host that I ever had the pleasure of working with. He is so nice and sincere. I arrived with a laundry list of travel issue none related to his air bnb or really his concern. He even helped me after I checkee out. Seriously nicest man ever. The place is clean and great parking. It's small but perfect for when exploring the island. Do yourself a favor and book it now.

I highly recommend staying at Bruno's. He is an excellent host. My wife and I really enjoyed our stay. Bruno's was very helpful.

Even before we arrived, we had the feeling that we were warmly welcomed. We received all the necessary information in advance. The house is on a quiet street. The view, the pool and the evening atmosphere are indescribable! At around 10 p.m. the Cory's Shearwaters come back from hunting and hold their "concert" for about 30 minutes. A unique experience that is rare outside of the Azores. The house is very well equipped, you can cook really well and there are also great restaurants not far away. It was super clean. We were given a very warm welcome and everything was explained and shown to us thoroughly. We had a wonderful time in this beautiful house!

Great location for this part of the island, the home was in great shape, hits way above the price point.

We had a lovely few days away. The accommodation is very quiet, very well equipped and very well located, a few minutes from the volcano and the natural pools of Capelinhos. Communication with Sandra was very easy and responsive. Everything was great!

This place was the highlight of our stay in the Azores. The location and views are fantastic. If the Airbnb scale didn't end at a maximum of 5 points, I would have given ten. Furnishings and architecture look even more beautiful in reality than they do in the photos. We will certainly come back.

We had an amazing few day's at Jorge's place. Horta is a fantastic location and the house is nestled into the hillside with fabulous views over the town and harbour. Perfectly located just a few minutes walk into town. We loved to sit eating our breakfast in the morning enjoying the wonderful view and star gazing at night after enjoying the island of Faial. Not to be missed! Hiking around the Caldeira, Capelinhos & Whale watching were all highlights for us! We would love to come back for a few more days....maybe next year :)

We stayed six nights in the beautiful “Casa Do Gato Preto.” The house is very lovingly and personally decorated, there was nothing missing. It was very clean. We were greeted with milk, coffee, jam and delicious birthday cake. Marina is very friendly, attentive, helpful and always available. The surroundings are beautiful, the location is excellent for exploring the island. We felt very comfortable and would always like to spend our vacation there. The house is highly recommended.

Rarely, or never had such friendly and accommodating hosts! We felt very comfortable and the houses are incredibly beautifully located. We could look at the sea from the bed and terrace, had everything we needed, got great tips and were even equipped with local products! ❤️ We had a great time and highly recommend Tobias and Silke, as well as their tiny houses!

This place is actually an independent house with a bedroom and another smaller room, which could be used as an office. On top of this, you also have a living room with a sofa-bed. In my view, perfect for a remote working situation. The location is super peaceful, with a view to the mountain, cows and birds always singing. The house is equipped with everything you need and situated just a stone throw from Madalena town center, which is not a problem as you always need a car to get around the island. Definitely recommend it!

Great place if you search a calm and quiet place. Everything was well prepared!Especially suited for families with kids. A bit hard to reach so you should definitely rent a car to make the best out it.

We enjoyed amaizing view on Pico mountain, specially in the mornings from our bedroom, definitely keeps you longer in bad. It is a spacy house with big garden, planty of birds and lovely company of cows on neighbouring lands.

Francisco was an excellent host! He was very communicative and we appreciated his local recommendations, especially to visit the celebration in Madalena. The house was fantastic and we enjoyed the view from outside where we ate all of our meals and relaxed when not out exploring Pico. I would highly recommend that anyone stay here, and we will do the same the next time we are visiting Pico.

We stayed in this lovely house with the whole family! It was comfortable and the view of Pico was amazing. The house is homely, well kept and clean and the beds were comfortable. Everything was taken care of, towels were ready on the beds, beds were made and everything was clean. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals at the house. And there was a washing machine, which was great after a muddy hike at the Caldeira. Paulo was a communicative host, who worked with us when we needed to change the amount of guests and was easily available.

Joanna’s place was fully refreshing, relaxing and stress free. Here you can really enjoy the privacy in a quiet and safe neighborhood. The air and the environment is very clean. Enjoying the beautiful ocean water and sunshine is really the best part of being here in the Azores. The extraordinary views of Pico make it a very interesting location. Joana is great with communication and keeps the place really clean. Obrigado, Joana.

This place was a treat! Marianna’s place is meticulously decorated and makes you feel like you entered your own private vacation house. Such a relaxing atmosphere with a breathtaking view over the blue with some sightings of the neighbouring island. Marianna went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed in order to fully enjoy our stay in Pico. We are beyond grateful for everything she did and the great recommendations she gave us. She’s a wonderful hostess and person with great energy. I am very happy I got to meet her. it was a very clean house in a nice neighbourhood. A minimercado was very near by, also a natural Swimmingpool and a good Restaurant. The terrace was our favorite place in the house. from there you could See mt. Pico in the one Side and the sea in the other.
