What a fantastic place! I had the most amazing couple of days in the long house, with stunning views friendly people and stars that lit up the sky. I would recommend to anyone looking for an escape from reality! Can't wait to book up again! Thanks again for making this the most magical time away!

We really enjoyed our stay with Emma, maybe a little too much 😁 just as described, very warm and welcoming, a lovely host, we had a few little extras waiting for us on arrival which were great also😊spoils in form of mulled wine, we managed to pick the day when storm dharra rolled through, so made a challenge to get to see Emma and arrive on time at our location, fallen trees made it difficult that day, but it was exceptional, Emma was even good enough to offer a refund before, but we went for it 🤣 and sat in a lovely hottub, and watched the storm roll in, drank too much red wine of course, balance the grief trying to get there, moved a few trees physically to get there but made it ❤️ we loved it though, would love to go again if emma would have us again, we did make a bit of racket, for which i hope it wasn't too much trouble, just letting off the steam 😁 thanks emma it was great, and loved the dough, perfect 😍🙏👍 take care speak soon hopefully, Carl 😁

Lovely yurt and beautiful location with amazing views. The on site facilities were really clean and well thought out. Really convenient location for zip world and Snowdonia.

What a find! We will definitely be back. They had thought of everything… even a solar powered charger! I thought it was just wonderful. Thank you.

We had a really relaxing stay! The whole place was idyllic, secluded, and peaceful. We slept warm in a very comfortable bed with a log fire and the sounds of wildlife around us, played pool and cooked in the barn cottage, and the bathroom was spacious and shower amazing. We cooked over an open fire pit and sat around the bonfire, everywhere we looked there were little characterful details, and we found it the ideal location to visit both north and south Cornwall. Rufus greeted us warmly and made sure we knew to contact him for any reason then left us to enjoy ourselves. One day we’d love to return to the yurt and cobb cottage, a real find!

Booked as a last minute weekend away, it was perfect, so serene and peaceful. The yurt is beautiful, the bed so comfy. Will definitely stay again. Perfect if you're into meditation and well-being. The wildlife sounds and the stream are all very zen. Highly recommend 🙏

Lovely place, quirky decorations, cute animals - especially the baby goats! Friendly hosts available to help with any issues. Their instructions about checking in were perfectly clear - it was just my reading of them that wasn't! Yurt very nice and pitched in it's own private section of woodland. We appreciated having our own cooking facilities within the yurt as well as the shared kitchen facilities. Decent shower. Surrounded by some pretty and peaceful countryside.

We had a lovely stay in Carol's yurt. The children absolutely loved it and Maisie the dog. We loved the record player and the stove kept it nice and warm. The outdoor kitchen and compost toilet all made it an interesting experience. Nice wee walk into the village and a lovely crafty shop in her garden. The hosts were both very friendly and helpful and the breakfast basket and croissants are a nice touch. Very enjoyable stay.

We had a wonderful stay at Ella's. The yurt was very comfortable, the places are beautiful and full of charm. Ella is very welcoming and we'll be happy to go back. 👍🏻

We had such an amazing stay, the hosts were so good to us. We booked a yurt for my partners birthday, with our 6 month old baby and our dog. The yurt was too cold so the hosts upgraded us to one of the cabins. I would highly recommend staying here. The place is stunning and the hosts exceeding our expectations. 10/10.

We came to Barefoot Yurts to escape the routine and reconnect in nature, and it was above and beyond what we had imagined! I can't recommend a stay here enough, we left feeling so rested and happy and enjoyed every moment in the space. The facilities were fantastic we had everything we needed along with some beautiful and thoughtful touches, everything was so comfortable and the view from the yurts is so special. We arranged our weekend specifically in line with the full harvest moon and were able to watch the moonrise so clearly and in total bliss around the campfire ... thank you Julia :) x

Rachel’s Yurt for 2 is the most adorable, cosy and quirky space for two. Utterly charming, it had been thoughtfully kitted out with just enough of the right things you made need. Sofa bed was comfy and the heated bathroom floor so welcome in December. We definitely want to come back. Its back to basics charm is refreshing and good for the soul. We loved our stay here, really peaceful, lots of wildlife and beautiful countryside. The yurt was lovely and felt homely, the bed was really comfortable too. We didnt want to leave. Kate and Richard were perfect hosts, we found them friendly and helpful. Will definitely stay here again next time we are in Devon.

The yurt and the garden around it are a beautiful place to relax and enjoy the tranquility of nature. After just one day in the yurt, we felt as relaxed as we did for a long time. The garden is huge and you only have greenery around you. There is everything you need. The outdoor kitchen is very well equipped and there are various places to chill (hammock, sofas,...). The composting toilet serves its purpose and is very well maintained. The sanitary facilities in the neighboring house were also fine, the smell was a bit strict as it adjoins the stable, but everything worked great. The yurt itself was insanely cozy. There are also several ways to fire, which was a lot of fun for us, especially when it got cooler in the evening. We will definitely be back. Thank you so much!

Sophie was an incredible host - probably the best we have ever had through AirBnB. The yurt was enchanting and private - perfect after a day of exploring the wilderness of Skye. We can’t wait to come back again!

We had a great time at Mill Haven Place - we stayed in the sunset yurt with our two kids and it was perfect. The woodburner in the yurt made it really cosy and the covered outdoor kitchenette was great for meal prep. The pitches are well spaced out and the design with the trees makes it feel private yet spacious. We would definitely recommend!

Would highly recommend for a short break. Really enjoyed our stay, lovely and cosy inside, hot tub was Devine, can’t really fault our stay. Would 100% stay again, trying to find another excuse for another night away! 5⭐️

This is a great little yurt! Very cosy once you get the fireplace going at night. Beds were comfortable. The kitchen unit was really well stocked with utensils and the yurt itself is situated in a very private part of the campground, so we felt very secluded. Would stay again!

We booked this within hours notice, and the yurt was warmed up ready for our arrival. Absolutely stunning place, gutted we couldn’t stay longer. The bed is comfy and a really decent mattress. The kids loved seeing the kittens. Would definitely return and stay longer next time. Thank you for putting us up at such short notice :)

Stayed here for 3nights, and it was amazing! Me and my partner didn't want to leave. Just what we needed to detox from our city lives. When we arrived, the host (Richard) come to meet us to drop of the key. Very friendly man, and also offered to assist us with carrying our bags from our vehicle to the yurt late in the evening. Richard showed us around the yurt, and how to fire up the Woodburner safely. Richard made it clear that if me and my partner needed anything, just to give him a call and he would assist us, but fortunately that wasn't required as everything we required for our stay was available in the yurt. The yurt, and the surrounding area was beautiful. The lake was thriving with Swans, Geese, Gulls, and Ducks. I would recommend bringing some bird feed along, and they'll all come flocking. Me and my partner have even considered coming back in the summer months for another city detox. I highly recommend for any couple looking for a quiet and cosy retreat.

We had an amazing stay at Paula’s yurt. The interior was beautifully decorated with everything we needed. There were plenty of towels for us to use plus a bathrobe for the hot tube. The kitchen outside the yurt was very well equipped for preparing meals and sheltering from the rain when needed. Hot tub was very relaxing and all the facilities seemed new and were very clean. We would absolutely recommend Paula’s place as a retreat for the weekend or even longer! We would absolutely love to visit again. Thanks a lot for having us.
