Great cottage. Felt like at home. Very well equipped kitchen. It's peaceful and quiet. There are loads of beautiful hiked to do around the area. Guilaine was very friendly and easy to reach by SMS. We recommend it!

This place is completely magical. We felt so privileged to be able to find something so remote and unique to spend a few days. The garden was beautiful, we were invited to pick veggies from the garden which were delicious. The kids had a great time running around the garden up and back from the river. It is a peaceful beautiful paradise. We were very sad to leave, and hope to come back!

A lovely family get together between the business of Christmas and New Year. We were in the turfed roof cabin and our adult children in the Longhouse. Was a perfect get away to relax and enjoy each others company in beautiful crafted accommodation. The shop is well stocked for all your meal needs and the sauna a great treat. Thank you

The house is located in a unique historic village. Definitely go for a walk through the village . The location is great to discover the Versace valley and Lago Maggiore. The historic has been nicely renovated . All the essentials were present. It is a small and cozy house and it was perfect for us as a family for 4 nights ( 2 adults , 1 toddler, 1 dog). You can have dinner outside looking out over the valley. There is a great restaurant located next to the house. It has to be noted that parking was difficult. There is no dedicated parking for the house. One night we had to park 10 minutes down the road. Also, you have to go down quite a few steps to get to the house. Which might a challenge for less mobile people. We also struggled to find the place on the day of our arrival. The location on Airbnb is a few 100 meters off and it seems like all houses are called Rustico. However, Davide was very responsive and showed us in the right direction. Overall we had a great stay.

We were passing through (at 4) during our crossing of France, so we were not able to enjoy the surroundings. But the little house is very well remodeled with taste and warmth thanks to the stove in particular. The accommodation and hospitality made us want to return to enjoy the surroundings by visiting or hiking.

We had a pleasant stay at Odette's. The living room is cozy and has a beautiful common area. And there are enough rooms to keep a little privacy, which is not easy to find when traveling with 9 including 3 couples. Odette is adorable, forward-looking, and welcoming. The boiler had let go a little earlier in the day, but Odette provided us with everything we needed to garnish the stove, which strengthened the cocooning atmosphere. The bedding is good. All essential utensils are available (including sufficient PQ, salt, sugar, oil, dish soap, tea towels, etc.) which is very convenient for a weekend. Flexible check in and check out. And, as the listing photos show, a beautiful surrounding setting. It is necessary to be driven to access the accommodation, but this is usually the case to get away from the city and live a relaxing stay in the countryside. Thanks again to Odette for hosting us.

It was a big pleasure to play with Urszulas dogs. We were treated like old friends, not tourists. The house is in the middle of nowhere and you are face to face with nature. Exactly what we expected.

The farmstay felt like a home away from home. The set-up calls back to the design of a ship. It was a fun set-up and one of the nicest places I've ever stayed. The host was friendly and responsive.

Lovely, quiet, warm and cosy bothy with much appreciated attention to detail - very nice bedding, useful books and maps, and kitchen knives that are actually sharp. Characterful local pub 20 mins walk away with great atmosphere and live trad music. Up a secluded narrow lane that was icy after a rare amount of snow for Skye. Very impressive views, including from bed!

hosts have been flexible on check-in and checkout times and understanding. They understood our need and adapted to us, it was perfect. Clean and well-equipped accommodation, parking spaces in front of the accommodation. It went very well!

This was just what we needed in the run up to Christmas! Great amenities, relaxing environment and use of the fire was so cosy and comforting! Would definitely recommend staying here and would love to come back!

Nicole's cottage is a peaceful cocoon, with a neat and warm decoration. Staying there is to treat yourself to a bubble of tranquility, apart from everything, and appreciate the authenticity of the natural setting that surrounds us.

We had a lovely short stay at the Hobbit House. It’s obvious a lot of thought has gone into the design and for Tolkien fans like ourselves it’s perfect. The place is clean and well equipped and the complimentary bottle of wine is a nice touch. The location is peaceful but easy to find and great for visiting local attractions. We especially enjoyed the walk across the fields to Bodiam Castle (although muddy at this time of year) and can recommend the food and service at the Castle Inn.

Had a fantastic stay at Braeburn. The byre is immaculate & the beds were so comfortable. It was nice & toasty warm when we arrived & we didn’t get to use the log burner sadly. The attention to detail is apparent & we had everything we needed. Just wish we could have stayed longer. Thanks Alison for a lovely stay. We’d love to come back in the summer to sit in the beautiful garden xx

You're renting an experience, not a stay. The view from the house was absolutely amazing. When we returned home after the forest walk with Sacha and Fluffy, we really felt like we had returned home. You can find everything you may need in Çınardibi village and it is very close. You can enjoy the clouds, the trees, the stars. Thank you so much to our hosts for their interest, understanding, and making this place and the world a livable place. I'm glad we came and I hope we can come again.

Anne was friendly and welcoming, great local knowledge and recommendations. The location is secluded and private, but just a short drive to local amenities and connections to Edinburgh. The place was clean and tidy, and had everything you could need for your trip :)

Beautiful accommodation. Stunning views. High-end products used throughout. Lovely touches like bathrobes, slippers and dry robes. Was definitely luxury. Well appointed kitchen. We ate in as you would need to drive if you went out. We liked that though because we made good use of the facilities and hot tub. Would highly recommend.

Not booking a stay at Lou's Cob would be a missed opportunity! Not only is it unique and beautiful, it has all of the home comforts you can expect and more. The hot tub is incredible on a cold January night, looking up at the stars, and finishing off with Lou's exquisite charcuterie board. Their dog, Lady is adorable and made sure to give us a warm welcome. Lou and Gordo are very kind and attentive hosts, providing us with lots of local information and guidance on places to visit, and their passion and love for this place is tangible, and shows in all the small details. Wonderful stay, very calm farm and extremely cosy house. It is worth mentioning the fresh fruit orchards, the friendly horses, the amenities of the different spaces of the property and the company of the two b*****s Guadiana and Mimosa. Host very available and attentive. Sunrise memorable among the fruit trees.

We had a great time in a lovely setting! This should be tested out (even if you're not the Lord of the Rings big fan)! We had snow and moonlight when we were here in January🤩 Cons: far to toilet (but nice view to) Plus: nice view, quiet, sauna and jaccuzi, clean and nice bathroom, quirky and cool details, mini fridge, plenty of space for luggage, homely Looking forward to seeing how this develops 😃

We can really recommend spending some time in Hobbiton! Our little hobbit hole was so cute and cosy, it felt like being in one of the LOTR-movies! The hot tub was a big plus, even when it took many hours to heat up, we enjoyed spending a lot of time in it. Especially in the morning or after the sunset, when it was colder outside. Inside we had everything we needed for two nights and it was all clean and the interior done with lots of love for the details. The hobbiton is still in growing and we would be interested to see how it develops. The area outside of it is not much to see, but the hobbit cave has enough to offer just to enjoy your time there. Marija was all the time very fast in answering if we had questions. Would recommend if you want to experience some LOTR in real life!
