This is a new build and in a very pristine community. Paul was responsive on chat. Check in was smooth. The trampoline and the slide in the backyard was a hit with my kids. Love the stay here.

It really felt like home from home, with all facilities you could want. Lovely quiet cul de sac and a great location for walking into the city, exercising the dogs and plenty of interesting running routes.

Scott’s place was as described. Lovely and clean. Heating was a bit tricky to work. Instructions would have been helpful Really enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate to return. Thank you

I stayed at this wonderful property for a few days right after getting married, kicking off my honeymoon while also showing my new in-laws some of the best parts of the UK. The entire family had a great time here—it’s clean, very spacious, and truly felt like home. We did run into a minor issue with a bathroom leak (a bit of bad luck on my part, I suppose), but the host was incredibly responsive and did everything they could to resolve it quickly. I really appreciate how it was handled and am grateful for the prompt attention. Overall, I highly recommend this lovely property. If I’m ever in Edinburgh again with family or friends, I’d definitely check if this place is available before considering other options in the Old Town area. Utterly brilliant stay. Its rare to have a peaceful location but really very close to both the great West End cafés, bars and shops, as well as the tram stop. Allan was a wonderful host, extremely helpful with regards to an early check in request combined with a very friendly tone for all communication. The house was perfect for the 2 of us, really comfortable, good sleep, tv for the short period we were there. We have already booked a return visit. You couldn't do much better in my opinion.

Kate was extremely kind and accommodating! She went out of her way to make our stay great. The airbnb was fantastic. Clean, comfy and cozy with everything we needed for a month-long stay. We had four guests: two downstairs on sofa bed, and one person in each upstairs bedroom. The town is beautiful and peaceful. Walkable with any store you may need right nearby. Definitely recommend.

I recently stayed at Kevin's home and had a wonderful experience. The place was very clean and well-maintained, which made my stay incredibly comfortable. I truly enjoyed every moment. Perfect place to stay for a few days on a budget. About 10min walk from bus stops that led to the city, took about an hour to get into the city from here. Owners always got back with us quickly and were so kind. I reccommend staying here if you want more of a cozy stay away from the city!

We had an enjoyable weekend break in the Lookout at Pitmilly. Excellent standard of accommodation and facilities and a wonderful setting, convenient for exploring the Fife coast. Would highly recommend.

The apartment is really bright and spacious and tastefully decorated. The living area and kitchen are perfect. The apartment has everything you need including a washing machine and dryer. Audrey explained everything very clearly to us when we arrived to drop off our luggage (the owners facilitated an early drop off before 4pm). In terms of improvements, the water boiler is quite noisy so if someone used the bathroom late, it could wake other guests. We would have appreciated shampoo in the bathroom - some of our party flew with hand luggage only with a small liquids allowance. We enjoyed our stay and it was convenient for the EICC, a 10-15 minute walk. The welcome breakfast pack was a nice touch. There are plenty of restaurants nearby, including Napoli-themed Pizzeria 1926 with delicious pizzas!

Thanks for the opportunity to stay at your lovely lodge. Really felt homely and a great location close to stunning views and beautiful walks, along with easy access to public transport into Edinburgh.

We just felt right at home and comfortable in Mary's van....location was quiet and easily accessible...lovely little touches throughout...willl be back !!

I booked this property at short notice and the reason was because I saw that it had a good location and also a pool for my children to play in the water and that since I had a short time, I saw this as a good space, but the only thing is that the pool cannot be used in cold weather.... But in terms of being large, clean and tidy and having amenities, it is a very suitable place, just because I wanted to go to Edinburgh, which was an hour away. Most importantly, the owner was very kind and polite. He also lived in the property next door and was a very nice person. When we returned, our cat was lost in the garden and he helped us find it with great kindness and patience. I am extremely grateful to him, I recommend that you travel there for rest and accommodation.

Had a wonderful stay with my family at Priscilla, would definitely recommend Priscilla. Dianne was great and friendly with communication. My Kids loved it and would love to visit again.

Speaking of Skye, She was quick and clear with responses to my questions. Since we arrived early, she offered flexible time check-in and it worked out great for us. I would say he is understanding. There were a lot of things in the house for our need. I would say we didn't feel lacking. In addition, maybe a quick coffee maker would be much nicer. But there were filter coffee supplies to keep you from staying without coffee. The neighborhood of the house is close to many places. There is a nice park nearby and it was great to have a grocery store right next to us. It's a little difficult to say something negative, but to criticize it, maybe having a lot of decorative items in the house can criticize. Apart from that, we were very satisfied, I think the price is very convenient and sufficient in terms of performance, and a clean house. Thanks again to Skye for having us. 🙏🏻

A nice little self contained annexe about 35 mins outside of Edinburgh, useful if you plan on going up to the lochs but want to have a look round first. Has some useful places nearby for shops and stocking up. Graeheme is super communicative and showed us around the place on getting the keys

The location is amazing — perfect for exploring the city. The place was very clean, exactly as described, and the host communicated well. We did have one hiccup: there were only two towels provided, even though there were three of us, so we had to share, which wasn’t ideal. Also, like other reviews mentioned, the bed is very noisy. I figured it couldn’t be that bad since I don’t move much when I sleep, but even the slightest movement made noise. Other than that, we had a good stay and really enjoyed the home and the area. I would give it 4.5 stars because 5 means perfect, and the bed and towel issues weren't so great.

The location was absolutely perfect! Lots of cabinet space in the kitchen. Beds were very very comfortable!

Axel was a fantastic host, great communication and the house was just what we needed. Very clean and exactly as described. Close to the tram and bus links just a few stops to the city centre and only 15 mins on the bus to Portobello Beach. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend Axel as a host and his house to anyone.

Excellent garden flat a few minutes from the many coffee shops/restaurants and buzz of Stockbridge. We were lucky with warm sunny weather and the main room is flooded with sunlight - and it was even warm enough to sit out at the huge table on the patio in the lovely garden with its blossoming magnolia tree. Nice bedroom with comfortable beds. The flat is stylishly decorated with a Japanese theme and has great bathroom/shower rooms. The flat is even nicer than the photos show, and is extremely quiet as it is set on a circular road that doesn't go anywhere. The owner Gordon is very friendly. The kitchen is small and there is not that much equipment, but sufficient for a simple meal and Edinburgh is full of loads of great restaurants to tempt you out. I would definitely stay again.

Had a fantastic couple of days staying at The Keep. Apartment was beautiful and spotlessly clean with lovely little little extras like fresh eggs from the chickens on the farm and a bottle of wine chilling in the fridge! Coming into the colder months it was especially lovely having the log burning fire on for a nice cosy night in. We were sad to leave and would love to stay again.
