House vacation rentals in Edinburgh Old Town

We loved our stay! Everything was clean and the bedroom were very nice with comfortable beds. The house had a very cozzy feeling to it. We didn’t had the right plugs for the phone charger and they were nice enough to borrow us 4. On the day of our check out we needed ice to put in the insulin container of my mom and they went above and beyond to get some ice for us, really thankful for that! Overall I would really recommend this place. Location was great too, close by to the beach and restaurants and just 1 hour away from Edinburgh

Fantastic caravan with gated outdoor space brilliant for my two big dogs. At the quiet end of the park yet really close to the shop and entertainment. Caravan was really clean and had lovely little homely touches when we arrived. Peter and Georgie replied really quickly if we had questions too.

Excellent quiet and safe location with secure car parking. Edinburgh city centre is walkable or easily accessed by several bus services including the airport bus which stops at the end of the street. Bobbie is an excellent host who made us feel very welcome and provided good communication prior to arrival.

Fiona’s place is one of best locations we have stayed at on the platform, It’s definitely the most accurately described and photographed. The apartment has a minimalist esthetic but it’s extremely intentional. Everything in it provides a sense of calm, comfort and clarity, it just feels good to be in the space. I would highly recommend this space to anyone but it would be especially good for anyone seeking a personal or creative retreat.

This house is amazing and spacious. We loved it so much we have extended our stay for another 3 weeks.

We loved this place. Spacious and clean. Even the smallest bedroom is a good size. The only thing that would make it perfect would be a dryer, there is only a washer. The hosts are great also.

My husband and I stayed at the Water Tower for 3 nights. It is beautifully restored with so much attention to detail. In arriving we explored it in total awe. It is very comfortable and each bedroom has an ensuite toilet and hand basin. The bathroom is totally wonderful - especially having a bath. The sitting room at the top has a sensational view and is very comfortably furnished. As previous reviews have mentioned the Water Tower is well equipped and we were made very welcome by Susan and Gerry and greeted with homemade muffins and our choice of breakfast ingredients. The Water Tower is really well located, with Morrisons, a wonderful Indian Restaurant called Itihaas for dinner and an incredibly convenient bus service to Edinburgh (£2 per ride - use your card on your phone to pay) - all just around the corner. The Water Tower is an incredibly special place and we would stay again if/when we come back to Edinburgh. Thank you very much Susan and Gerry for hosting us.

We had such a wonderful stay! It was in a quite good location - about 20 mins bus ride to the city center. Also, the house was well-organized and clean. We truly felt at home with all the thoughtful touches. we would absolutely love to return in the future! Thanks.

Loved our stay at Cockburn Manor! Helen and Jamie were wonderful hosts – answering our questions and helping us navigate our stay. They greeted us at the house and showed us where to find everything. Our only regret is that we did not spend enough time at the house or share a glass of wine with our hosts! The house is warm and cozy even though there are many bedrooms. There are several spaces for groups to congregate, but our favorite place was the kitchen. The large dining table served as the perfect spot for our group of 14 to gather at the end of the day to share stories and laughter. The outdoor area is beautiful. It was amazing to wake up each morning and see the horses and donkey grazing near the front drive. Beautiful oasis not far from the city.

We had a fantastic stay at Saif’s Airbnb! The location was ideal, making it easy to explore the area, and the property itself was just perfect, beautifully maintained, clean, and with all the amenities we needed. The service was excellent, loads of thoughtful touches and the host was very responsive and accommodating. The only minor issue was that the mattress was a bit too soft for our personal preference, but everything else was wonderful. Highly recommended! Thanks for the ferraro rochers, and the wine . Very thoughtful ☺️

we had a fabulous stay in the gardeners house. I cannot recommend it enough. the surroundings are stunning. it was wonderful to spend time in the city of Edinburgh and return to the tranquility of gardeners house. we will be back

It was spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated, and had all the amenities you could need for a comfortable stay. The location was perfect—close to all the attractions but in a peaceful, quiet neighborhood. I especially appreciated the little touches like fresh towels, toiletries, and a fully equipped kitchen.
