Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Edinburgh

Wonderful home from home. First time we’ve had to bring our doggy along and Paul’s place was perfect. Obviously the surrounding area is the most beautiful. We were visiting for a family event so the location was perfect. House was spotless, easy to access, had everything we needed and was very welcoming. Really hope we can stay again. Thanks Paul

It really felt like home from home, with all facilities you could want. Lovely quiet cul de sac and a great location for walking into the city, exercising the dogs and plenty of interesting running routes.

We stayed in Scott's place at the end of October and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house was very clean and was well equipped. The location is a little remote and while the bus is a short walk away and taxis are available, a car is really needed. The upside of this is that there are some lovely walks around. Penicuik is a 40 min walk away. I would definitely recommend Scott's house.

Great stay! The hosts were super friendly and check-in was easy even time was 4am. They went above and beyond by recommending some amazing local stores and pubs, which made my trip even better. Highly recommend!

She is an amaizing host.. always attentive and responsive.. all the instructions very clear, her place is amaizing !! I will definitly come back.. !

Lovely property, location was perfect, great communication from the host of all the local bars and restaurants, the house was very clean and lovely. Great park down the road for dog walking and Portobello Beach also dog friendly a few minutes in the car. We had a great stay.

Everything absolutely as described. Felt homely and welcoming. Ideal for a few days exploring Edinburgh. Local supermarket 2 minute walk away was handy for milk and supplies.

Perfect place to stay for a few days on a budget. About 10min walk from bus stops that led to the city, took about an hour to get into the city from here. Owners always got back with us quickly and were so kind. I reccommend staying here if you want more of a cozy stay away from the city!

A very comfortable place to stay with a mixed family group for Christmas. Really close to the city centre and with excellent public transport facilities. The apartment had everything we needed for self-catering, and there was also easy access to local restaurants. Our hosts were very prompt and clear with their instructions.

We felt truly safe and happy there. The amenities are top notch and the decorations are simply amazing. We did not get to celebrate Hogmanay as it was cancelled but we were just happy staying in and ringing in the new year there as it was just so cosy and warm! Would love to repeat another stay during Summer!

Absolutely superb apartment and location, all as advertised and host was welcoming and friendly.

Lovely gem of a place to stay, cosy relaxing and peaceful. Very clean and tidy. Nice safe area. 2 minute walk to bus stop which will take you straight into Edinburgh centre. Communication with Isobel was excellent. Will definitely book again on my next trip to Edinburgh.

Fabulous stay right near the train station with a wonderful view. We appreciated Gordon giving us great recommendations and LOVED the Guilford Arms. Quite flat and big enough for four adults who wanted space.

Gorgeous well appointed lodge with no neighbours . Gas fire and central heating kept the place warm and cosy . A lovely welcome gift of wine , flowers , milk and fruit was appreciated . We were lucky enough to see a lot of snow on New Year’s Day which was amazing . Highly recommend as a base to explore the borders or a short trip to Edinburgh central . Dogs loved the place and it was fun seeing the sheep in the top field . The other fields were fully enclosed also . Plenty of books, dvds and games also supplied by the hosts and the 4 g signal enough to keep in contact with the world . A couple of minor issues which were responded to very quickly but nothing serious .

This upstairs/downstairs apartment was the base for six of us while working in Leith and it was perfect. With a well equipped kitchen, comfortable furniture and beds, enough chairs for dining and a selection of games to play, this place is great. Easy walking distance to the shops and local restaurants, and the trams are just around the corner giving easy access to the center of Edinburgh. Compliments to Axel who was a very supportive and responsive host who guided us through the bad weather and an unfortunate late arrival. Access was easy with an electronic key box and the neighborhood was lovely and quiet. Parking was not the easiest but it never is when staying in the cities and again Axel was very proactive with suggestions for parking, very helpful. There are some steep stairs in the property but these are mentioned several times before booking and we managed our luggage up the stairs without a problem. All in, this is a superb property and we would be happy to return again.

Wonderful stay, loads of room with 2 bathroom and cosy beds. Arrival v easy user friendly keysafe entry, fuss free. On the very quiet Stockbridge classy area, walkable to Old Town, but Newtown Leith walkway on doorstep and swimming baths. Great gardens, a dog friendly find. Love to go back anytime!

Nice flat in good location and has good transport to City centre. Clean well stocked flat. Sue gave lots of advice . Would recommend this flat.

The place is in good location! Jack was absolutely brilliant host! easy to reach him any time . Perfect place to stay !
