5-Bed Coastal House with Garden by the Beach

NickRating, 5 stars16 months ago
Our original booking had to be cancelled due over running renovations, but the Harbour Escapes team found us another stay close by. The house was amazing and the little extras that were provided were great (beach towels, shower gel, washing powder, wine, tea and coffee). The team set up a group messaging service for any queries we may have had, and they were very responsive and helpful to the few messages we sent. We would highly recommend Harbour Escapes

DriftAway Glamping - safari tent or woodland yurt

What a beautiful setting to relax and have fun with the children. We had a wonderful first night, unfortunately we had to cut our stay short due to personal reasons but we will definitely be staying again and have recommended to family and friends.

Deerland Safari Tent, secluded & private location

KateRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We had a lovely weekend. Accommodation was clean and very well-equipped. It was a very peaceful location, our kids loved being outdoors early in the morning playing on the swings and looking for the deer. The location was lovely and Lesley and Julian were very helpful. Due to the rain causing the fields to be slippery, we didn't drive down to the tent - walking through some fields back to the car when we were checking out added to the adventure

private kid-friendly glamping -2 delightful tents

NishaRating, 5 stars15 months ago
Lovely stay and friendly accommodating hosts. I think others have mentioned, but the road is very loud (not the hosts fault!), but ear plugs might be desirable and we knew it was in the garden, but is very close to the guests house - it wasn’t a problem at all - but was closer than we expected, so just for others to take on board. We had everything we needed. Great brunch at the dairy close by and a good walk in to Wimborne for meals and drinks along the river.

Furnished bell tent @ the Gaggle

MattRating, 5 stars5 months ago
Sarah and Simon were very lovely hosts, Sarah gave us a great welcome and lots of information, even squeezed us in for one of Simon’s delicious roasts! Very welcome and safe space with lots for the kids to do, our son particularly loved the play bus. Our only downside was that we couldn’t stay longer!! We will definitely be back. Thank you!

Oak Apple Lodge, stunning views on organic farm

BenRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Had a lovely stay here for one night after trekking it around the Dorset coast for the day - Lesley was very helpful throughout and was lovely to speak with Julian when I arrived. Setup was great and had everything we needed. Also was really warm with the heater in the tent even at this time of year so that kept us comfortable and cosy. Had a great BBQ with some steaks and then turned into a fire pit later. Private and peaceful to go to sleep and wake up to. Overall great and lovely experience which we loved. Thanks for hosting us!

4-berth caravan set in an off grid field.

JodieRating, 5 stars1 month ago
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay in Caroline's caravan. It was extremely peaceful and chilled out! Caroline was very helpful and kind, it was lovely to learn how she lives off grid, and she has a great love for nature. If ever I needed anything she was always happy to help. The caravan was cosy and clean, and I loved the fact my dog Rusty could run free around her farm and have fun. I'd recommend taking a good book, puzzle, or download some Netflix films to keep you occupied in the evening, oh and bring a torch if you fancy a wander in the evening. You'll need to drive to shops and the only local pub that's walkable is the Barrington Bore, but it's closed Mon & Tues. I highly recommend visiting Glastonbury, it's a very special place with happy quirky individuals. All in all, great stay!! value for money and I'd definitely stay again!!. Just remember you're in the country side surrounded by nature and enjoy.

Driftaway Glamping entire site: both yurt & safari

KateRating, 5 stars5 months ago
My friends and I had a great stay at Driftaway. We hired both the yurt and safari tent so that we had the whole site to ourselves and were able to pitch up another tent to accommodate three families with young children and a dog altogether. The tents and shower blocks are well equipped with cooking equipment and games. The surroundings are beautiful with a woodland behind which has deer, foxes, badgers and rabbits. The hosts were really friendly and responsive when I let them know the loo flush in one of the toilets wasn't working well. They were very accommodating when we had other friends visit for BBQs as well. Overall we really enjoyed our stay & would definately go back!

Glamping horse lorry RV nr Durdle door play garden

MarkRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Lovely place to relax and unplug. The fire was definitely needed as it was mid November, but it was quick to warm up the space. Toilet and shower was close by so a quick dash in the night was fine. The kids absolutely loved the little sleeping nook above the cab that was theres for the weekend. Would return in summer time to enjoy sitting out on the deck and use the play toys on offer.

Bertie The Empty Bell Tent

KieronRating, 5 stars4 months ago
The camp site was perfect for me and my 2 children, the alpaca’s, the goats, the facilities and whole site was amazing, they loved it! Throughout our stay Claire made us feel right at home, and always made sure we had everything we needed! She even took the time to sit down and talk with my 2 sons on multiple occasions about the fossils they found that day 😊

5m bell tent in spacious field

CharlotteRating, 5 stars3 months ago
Lindsay was a perfect host, great, clear instructions and came to say hi just after we arrived. The tent was great, spacious and cosy, fully carpetted with fold out beds. There's a small table and chairs outside the front with a firepit. There are logs available to buy, but we bought our own. Perfect for sitting out till late toasting matshmallows. Very simple with no running water, but there are two toilets. It's peaceful, not crowded and back to nature. We were excited to see our first glowworm! The stars were spectacular. Thank you for a lovely stay.
