We are a Modern Stone built cottage in beautiful village. Private secure gated parking for 2 guest cars. We love our local pub The Springhead which is 1 minute walk away, set around a duck pond with willow trees. There are numerous country and coastal walks nearby and we welcome dogs. We live upstairs but you are completely separate to us and left alone. There is 2 large bedrooms a kitchen equipped with small mini oven and microwave, bathroom inc bath and shower and comfortable lounge.

From the warm greeting on our arrival, to Jennifer's warm, accommodating and responsive nature, our stay was a real treat. The apartment was spotlessly clean and tastefully decorated. Jennifer's tasteful touches makes it a real home from home. The apartment itself had all the conveniences you could require for a short stay and was within a five minute walk to a local convenience store; 20 minutes walk to Boscombe pier and if you are feeling particularly energetic, 20 minutes further on you find yourself you at Bournemouth pier and town centre. So, even though my partner and I only spent two nights here, we had a thoroughly enjoyable time and would definitely recommend this lovely apartment.

This place is wonderful to stay in. The hosts are delightful and the location is very handy to access the activities in Yeovil centre simply by walking. There is parking in a private drive if needed. A great sports centre is situated only 5 minutes walk down the hill. The studio is adequately furnished and plenty warm enough despite being a “nuclear bunker”. There is a beautiful and extensive park nearby that provides walking paths year- round. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would recommend it to anyone.

A little gem we will probably book again . Very useful to visit my elderly father that lives nearby. I know Fordingbridge but it took me a couple of drive pasts to find . Furnishing basic but perfectly adequate and spotlessly clean . Parking so close to the High Street a super bonus … thank you Helen .

Exclusive beach side suite with amazing views

This was a gem of a find - the photos don't do it justice! It is small, but the space is used so well with every amenity you could find. It would suit a couple but we were very happy as a family of 4 with 2 small kids (we put the kids in the bedroom and slept in the living room, and the sofa bed was very comfortable). Best of all, the location was incredible - a 2-minute walk to the beach and the Charmouth Heritage Centre for fossil tours and the little museum there. Charmouth is peaceful and idyllic - a nice escape from the bustle of Lyme Regis but with a fossil beach that is just as good if not better. The only advice I'd give to travellers is that there are only two pubs in the village - if it's a bank holiday weekend book the Royal Oak early if you want to eat there! Otherwise, Polly had great recommendations in nearby Bridport (which has a great soft play/climbing centre for stormy days) as well as Lyme Regis. Overall, she was a wonderful host and super responsive.

We had a lovely stay here. Beautiful view from the bedroom window. Lots of thoughtful little touches such as map with places of interest signposted. Fresh eggs and croissants for breakfast. Well stocked kitchen. Sadly it rained most of the weekend but still felt cosy. Great location for exploring Dorset and Somerset. Would highly recommend the space.

Samantha was a fantastic hostess. Very welcoming, efficient communicator who responded to our enquiries in a timely fashion. The property was exactly as described and seen on the photos. Our children in particular had a lovely time enjoying swimming in private as well as the evening film sessions. They have already asked whether we could revisit where we have left off!

Thanks again to Charlie and Nathalie for hosting us in their well-fitted annexe. A lovely quiet spot, tucked out of the way in Milborne Port near Sherborne. This is the second time we’ve stayed whilst visiting family, due to accommodation “overspill”, plus it was nice to get away and have our own space due to having the dog with us 🐶 Great hosts!
