Very pleasant hotel, different but cosy room with everything you need. Hotel amenities were excellent and the breakfasts were brilliant, so much to choose from. Great location, just a short walk into the village.

What a lovely hotel and lovely people, Juliet was fab, hotel beautifully clean and fresh, Polperro stunning, defo would stay again.

Richard very kindly upgraded us for free to a larger room, which was wonderful, but caused a little confusion upon our arrival as all our instructions were for the original room, but Richard called me and explained everything very quickly! The room itself was clean and comfortable and well equipped with water, tea-making facilities and a little fridge, which was great, plus a fan, and laminated print-outs of all the info we needed for our stay. Lovely big comfy kingsize bed with good quality pillows. The bathroom was spotlessly clean and the shower was great! The free continental breakfast was excellent and much appreciated. We also tried the vegetarian cooked breakfast in the cafe downstairs and that was top quality! The code locks on the doors made coming and going super-easy, whatever the time of day or night - no keys to worry about! My only complaint is that the wifi wasn't brilliant, which made it hard to watch non-live stuff on the TV, but that was a minor gripe.

Nice relaxing weekend. Made to feel very welcome. Comfortable room. Great decor! So close to town. Parking can be a bit of a problem but we found unlimited parking in King Street (just by the viaduct).

Lovely historic property in the heart of beautiful Tavistock. The house is packed full of character and history and art! There are so many little caring touches in the room for the guests ! Another lovely stay there - love it 😊

Excellent central location with the bonus of free parking. Beautifully decorated internally and in a really interesting historical building. Wonderfully comfortable bed and lots of lovely Neal’s yard products to use. Great recommendations given for eateries (we’d highly recommend The Cornish Arms for dinner and Church Lane for breakfast). A lovely one night stay, thank you Jack and Iain!

Peaceful, clean and luxurious. The perfect balance of modern luxury and traditional building, warm friendly staff and great atmosphere. Tastefully renovated bathroom and nicely furnished.

I am unsure there is enough space for us to gush about our stay as much as we would like to - although, it was such an exceptional stay, that perhaps words alone would not be fit to articulate it. Our time at the B&B was brilliant - we arrived with very little planned, but in our first meeting with Gary we were able to quickly fill our weekend with lovely things to do from their recommendations. With every recommendation we followed, we knew we would come back one day to experience the B&B for longer, to explore the area more. We were pretty awestruck with the building and the garden (and the most wonderful dogs!), and the brilliantly decorated rooms, but the little things added so much more to the stay - the complementary breakfast, the conversations and catch ups with Phil and Gary , and the relaxed environment. All these things solidified that we needed to come back and stay again. The value is exceptional, the hosts are superb. Perfect.
