Vacation rentals with lake access in Destin

Our stay at your home was truly enjoyable, and we appreciated the cleanliness and the attention to detail you provided. The availability of bicycles and beach accessories added more fun to our vacation. It was 3 adults, a teenager and a four year old. The location of your home was perfect, being just half a mile from the beach, and the golf cart rental made it even more convenient for our daily trips. We felt comfortable throughout our stay, knowing that you were easily reachable, and the reasonable house rules contributed to a stress-free atmosphere. However, we would like to gently mention the unannounced visits that occurred during our stay. While it didn’t cause any major inconveniences, we believe that a little heads-up would have been appreciated. Overall, we had a fantastic time at your home, and we would wholeheartedly recommend it to our friends and family. We are already looking forward to our next stay.

SUCH a great place to stay. Lots and lots of room for us all to sleep. Pool was so fun and heated, beach was BEAUTIFUL and we had it almost completely to ourselves! Todd and his entourage all communicated well with me. We had a problem with the bed that was taken care of immediately. You might take note that 8 of the single beds are in areas with no doors so they aren’t private. We had to turn off extra lights and try to keep the noise level down when our littles went to bed but it wasn’t really a problem! Thanks so much!!!!!

The property looks just like the listing. Neighborhood is located right off the highway convenient to restaurants, beaches and shopping. Golf cart was a fun bonus and easy access to the beach. There are a ton of beach towels, chairs and gear. Small issue arose during our stay and the hosts responded promptly and sent maintenance to fix the issue. Would def stay again.

My family and I had a great stay here over July 4th weekend. The house is super comfortable and spacious for a large group while also providing nice privacy across the different floors. The location is perfect, walking distance to a nice pool/beautiful beach and a short drive to all the nearby beach towns. Would love to stay here again someday!

Esther’s home was just what we needed while in town for a baseball tournament at Publix Park. The location was great and close to everything in the city. Our son enjoyed fishing in the canal during free time and even caught a stingray on our last night!

We thoroughly enjoyed Waves of Joy! The 2nd story house was solidly built and the rooms were very private. The downstairs master bedroom/bathroom was spacious and the king size bed was comfortable. The house decor was pleasant. The fenced in backyard was perfect for our dog. The neighborhood backed up to a lake that we rode our bikes to and we rode them to the beach as well. The couch was comfortable and there were plenty of blankets. The game room was a hit!

Susana is a first-class host. She's great at making her guests feel special. Her place has awesome showers and comfortable beds. It's in a light traffic, quiet, and upscale neighborhood with only a couple of cross streets going to dead ends, with a beautiful lake at the end of the street just a two-minute walk away. Highly recommend.

The house was amazing. There was so much to do. Plenty of room for my big family. Love being able to wake up, drink my coffee and look at the water. Rebecca was amazing and so sweet. I would definitely book again.

I wish we have more time to stay on Eileen’s place. The location is perfect close to everything. Literally you can walk to the beach etc. I dont mind staying again on her place since its the best spot in town to enjoy the beautiful beach of Destin. In addition to it all the things you needed to enjoy your vacation are on her place (too many to mention lol) Just bring your personal stuff and you’ll be good to go. 5 out of 5!! Eileen is one of the best host by far we’ve ever had. Thank you for making our vacation more enjoyable!

This was our first experience with Airbnb, and I wasn't quite sure what to expect. Anya and her co hosts were extremely helpful and responsive; answering questions with prompt replies. The gate guard was so friendly and showed us a great parking spot that gave us easy access to access the condo. The resort is beautiful. The unit is gorgeous. Dust free, clean, fresh linens and comfortable. We didn't want to leave! The view was stunning. I can't hardly wait to book our next visit to PCB with Anya. Merry Christmas!!!

We LOVE this place!! Rick and Sylvia made us feel like part of the family. More then everything you need!! Fishing , restraints, beautiful natural surroundings. They gave us helpful tips on restraints, attractions , helped us fish and became good friends. The sweetest hosts we have ever had!! Very friendly but private. They provided everything!! And then some!! Helped us out soooo sooo much on sooo many levels. We came for a rodeo and just wanted a cool place to stay. This is definitely a gem of a place!! The space was super clean and equipped with everything. They also provided a lot of fishing equipment and a kayak and hammock for hanging out in between time. We got to hang out with them a bit, we are social . They are very cool!! Super sweet, helpful friendly, would give the shirt off their back kind of people!! This is what we look for in an Airbnb. They truly care about their guests!! Above and beyond for comfort!! The stay was incredible!! Thank you!! Can't wait to come back!!!

Great weekend stay to prepare for upcoming wedding. Nice host, flexible check-in, worth the price, and great location.

The host was able to accommodate my late reservation. Easy check in and did I say elevator! Being on the fourth floor is no issue as the elevator was right near parking. Another great reason this was the perfect stay was the close proximity to the Old Florida Fish House. You can party until your heart is content and walk back to the condo. It’s that close. Also, the condo area is super quiet and them blackout curtains allowed us to sleep in. Highly recommend you staying here. Lucas is a great host.

Marina was very responsive,friendly, and accommodating. The inside of the air bnb looked exactly like the pictures. Although it was rainy for my husband and I’s trip, Marina’s place was comfortable enough for us to enjoy ourselves inside.

Perfect cottage near the beach with cozy spaces to chill out in. Beautiful outdoor space for cooking out and lounging. My little pups loved being outside and making friends with the cat next door. Walking the neighborhood was so fun, looking at the other cottages and, some ginormous new homes. The kitchen was beautiful and had a perfect breakfast table where we also held some fierce dominoes games at night. Location is still so very important and this cottage is perfectly situated for walking to the beach, shopping places and terrific restaurants with ocean views. A place to remember and revisit!

Connie's cottage was just as described in the pictures & her description. She was always available to answer questions. My family loved her art work she displayed throughout her home & outside. Incorporating her incredible paintings & glass masterpieces gave an eclectic/European feeling. The master bed was the most comfortable bed I have ever slept on with cotton sheets that were cool with a beautiful. Each room had its own t.v & plenty of room to relax after a long day at the beach. The kitchen was stocked with everything we could possibly need. Connie also left us with sparkling water & water bottles in the fridge. She also provided a small cooler along with beach chairs, umbrella, wagon and lots of toys, everything we needed for the beach. Her home was at the end of the street which made it private. Pretty twinkling lights and decorative art work covered the porch & arch ways around the property. My family stayed 8 nights, it was such a blessing to have found Connie's lovely home!!

Everything was wonderful except the Beach was soo over populated. Just To many people using one area. Unless you’re up for a very Long walk past all the crowds.

Second time staying here, it’s never disappointing. Beautiful atmosphere and very clean. This is a little vacation spot that I will continue to come back to.

Cassandra was amazing! She was quick to respond, helpful with suggestions, and just made us feel right at home and an extension of the family. The cottage was adorable, functional, and very easily accommodated our family of 4 plus pup. The location was perfectly located in proximity to the beach, shopping, and restaurants. The outdoor shower is a cool and functional addition to the house. 10/10 Definetly Recommend!

House was perfect, neighborhood pool was great, easy walk to restaurants and the beautiful beach. We will be back.

We had a very comfortable stay. The kids felt right at home. Since we planned to visit both Destin and Navarre and Pensacola during our stay, the location was perfect. The road (westbound) got pretty busy Friday afternoon but otherwise it wasn't an issue. Although on a busier road, we could hardly hear the traffic outside. The access to the bay/cove added nice ambiance. Although we were busy and couldn't enjoy the water, it was very peaceful when we did go down there. Thank you for the enjoyable stay!

Absolutely loved the place. it was like driving up to a magical fairy place. The suite was beautiful. Annie was quick to respond to any questions and was even let us know the place was ready for early check in. Buddy was so nice. I wish that we hadn't been on the go the whole time because it is a perfect place to sit back and relax.
