Beautiful surroundings, Katherine was a fantastic host and was very welcoming. Lots of extra touches in the hut such as breakfast and milk. A 30 minute walk to the heart of Oxford along a scenic canal, stunning views, wildlife all around and easy to walk. Katherine kindly allowed us to park before check in time. We visited the Perch pub which is a 10 minute walk and the food was delicious. Highly recommend this accommodation. We stayed two nights and loved it! Book now you won’t be disappointed! A perfect getaway as a couple on our first holiday! Daisy’s den is definitely the most private of all the cabins as it’s on the end. The cabin is exactly as described and we would highly recommend it to anyone. There is an absolutely incredible Italian restaurant just down the road called Da Luigi Bistro, one of the best meals we’ve ever eaten so would highly reccomend this as well. The bed was very comfy and we felt very safe and secure.

If you are looking for someone to escape to with the peace and tranquility of the countrywide with just a sprinkling of natural farm noise - this is the place to be. We had a really relaxing few days here and Rosalind was very helpful and in hand if you need anything. We always had a friendly greeting from the 3 dogs who would be delighted with a belly scratch. Loved it here.

We booked this place for guests at our son's wedding party and they loved it!

Emily’s place was an ideal getaway, secluded, clean, peaceful the perfect place to unwind for a few days, the hot tub made it extra special, all communication with Emily was excellent, would definitely recommend, will definitely be returning, thank you Emily.

Would recommend walking from the hut to Tewkesbury. Great views at the top of Norton Hill and then dropping down to walk alongside the river into the town which is lovely. 8 mile walk, we had a superb meal at an Italian restaurant and got a taxi back !!

A lovely, peaceful, cosy cabin. Perfect to escape to nature. Hot tub and fire pit are brilliant and John happy to help set them up. Hook Norton a great base for exploring the Cotswolds.

I had a lovely stay at Frank’s hut in Tilshead. It felt peaceful and private but Frank was a very responsive and helpful host. The hut itself was immaculate and cleverly designed to maximise space, with comforts like a nearby shower and underfloor heating. Added touches like brownies and breakfast tray were great. I fell asleep listening to rain on the roof and woke up to sheep and birdsong - bliss! Would love to return and explore the area more.

Our second visit was just as good as the first. No complaints! If you’re looking for a relaxing atmosphere, this is the place to go. Thom was great as always.

Absolutely loved our stay at Sharon’s Shepards Hut! Sharon was a lovely host, so helpful, responsive and welcoming. The location was amazing with stunning views and lovely walks nearby. The hut was absolutely spotless and had everything we needed for a fabulous stay. Couldn’t recommend Sharon and her hut more 11/10🥰xx

We had a great stay here. The farm itself was beautiful , we sat outside for most of the time and watched the world go by with a couple of drinks. Everything was right around the corner and a great pub a few mins away. Georgina also made the effort to come and say hello which we thought was nice.

Really nice stay here. Some of the amenities were missing but Laura was very responsive, instantly replied and stocked us up. Really nice to escape the city so would definitely recommend!

We had a lovely stay- my friend and I were in the area for an event, and as we now live quite far apart, took the opportunity to stay somewhere beautiful. You are on the edge of a farm; there are sheep audible in the fields next door, and an impressive array of birds who sang the most delightful chorus outside. We paid to have the hot tub heated on arrival- would recommend this as it takes a while to heat up otherwise. It meant we could have a dip, walk to the local village pub for dinner, and return to the hot tub after too. I informed Ruth that my friend was coeliac so couldn’t have gluten- she kindly checked what would help and provided a gluten free loaf. There was also a bottle of milk, some margarine and jam in the fridge though as these had been used by previous guests there were crumbs in the marg so my friend couldn’t have it but had some bread and the eggs, along with milk for tea, so we did hugely appreciate those. Thanks so much! Would definitely recommend a stay here

Kate was such a lovely host and made sure that our every need was met, was very helpful with local tips but also made sure to respect our space so that we felt like we were in our own private space! Will be back!

A beautiful staycation, surrounded by nature, it is private yet close enough to places/shops etc. Games and Bikes were a lovely touch so we had plenty of activities to do. Fire inside and outside made for a cosy stay when the weather wasn’t on our side. Highly recommend!

Clean, comfortable, and super peaceful. Chris is a top bloke and his place is the ideal getaway. The hut is a short walk from all of the amenities yet a stones throw from the woods and gorge, and having free rein of the private garden with viewing platform is a lovely touch. Wonderful!

It was our second time at the Shepherds Hut and we loved it both times. The hut is just what you need for a little getaway, I would also recommend visiting local pub (walkable distance from the hut) Woolpack Inn, such a lovely place and people. If you like waking up to stunning views and fresh air, I wholeheartedly recommend staying at Shepherds Hut!

Lovely hut in a countryside setting, we had a lovely weekend away! The hut is well set up, we loved chilling out on the very cosy sofa and cooking in the well equipped kitchen. The firepit was a great addition for cosy nights in and we reccomend the restaurant at the hotel next door (a few mins walk). Kate gave us great directions and info for checking in and the welcome biscuits were very tasty. Only tiny downside was the road noise you can hear outside but the hut itself is so sound proof, couldn't hear a thing when you're inside.

Great stay! Would definitely come again and stay for longer as only stayed for a night. Facilities were great

Very large hut, with dry toilet & shower cubicle in the hut. Full couch. Very comfortable mattress. Enclosed field area for the dog to run free. Hot tub was easy to manage (very clear instruction). Kitchen well equipped (4 hobs, cafetière, pots, pans, colander, grater, sharp knives, kitchen towels, etc) but no microwave because it's 12 volt electric from solar ( no standard plugs, just USB ones). There is a BBQ grill and pizza oven outside with the firepit. Wood was provided for everything. The horses made for good company. Good spot for star gazing and bird watch. Mo and Ann have been friendly, proactive and helpful. GOOD TO KNOW: The hot tub will be filled with fresh water when you arrive, so there is no chlorine. It's your responsibility to heat it with the provided logs. This process takes around 1 1/2 hours from cold. The water stays at about 36 overnight if covered so reheating is quicker. The kettle is stove top kettle so it takes a while to boil.

Lovely spot, peaceful, really enjoyed our weekend.
