The Railway Carriage is unique. It's so cozy and lovingly decorated, it really makes you feel welcome! The bed is very comfortable and the kitchen well equipped. There is a huge outside area and parking right in front of the accommodation. A lot of interesting sights can be reached within short driving distance. Sam provided excellent information and was very helpful. Thank you for an utterly relaxing time!

A perfect getaway as a couple on our first holiday! Daisy’s den is definitely the most private of all the cabins as it’s on the end. The cabin is exactly as described and we would highly recommend it to anyone. There is an absolutely incredible Italian restaurant just down the road called Da Luigi Bistro, one of the best meals we’ve ever eaten so would highly reccomend this as well. The bed was very comfy and we felt very safe and secure.

If you are looking for someone to escape to with the peace and tranquility of the countrywide with just a sprinkling of natural farm noise - this is the place to be. We had a really relaxing few days here and Rosalind was very helpful and in hand if you need anything. We always had a friendly greeting from the 3 dogs who would be delighted with a belly scratch. Loved it here.

We loved our stay at Katie & Anna’s Shepherds hut. The orchard was lovely to sit in during the light evenings & the hut was clean and cosy.

Great little space in a lovely location. Peaceful and plenty of nature. Accommodation and bathrooms very clean and all the little extras you might need. Would definitely stay again.

Elms Farm is a charming place in a very beautiful and convenient location to visit the Cotswolds. Rose is a fantastic host that cooked a great English breakfast and gave us plenty advice on places to visit and things to do in the surroundings. Very welcoming environment, highly recommended place to stay!

The location is a beautiful private field and the shepherd huts have everything you need for an amazing getaway. My son loved having a shepherd hut to himself and the pigs and goats close by were a bonus. The BBQ hut is a fantastic experience and a lovely way to cook together. All of the huts were very clean and had all cooking utensils & resources needed, plus extra thoughtful touches. We loved our stay so much.

Gorgeous peaceful location! Super cosy and warm and clean! Would just say the boiler was very powerful and noisy all night - just something to bear in mind if you’re a light sleeper! And for future renter’s the hot tub for us took 4 hours to reach the correct temperature / needs a lot of time and attention to work, but worked perfectly when it did just plan in advance when you think you’ll want it!

My girlfriend and I had the wonderful privilege of staying at this shepard's hut for 3 days. Our host Trish was very friendly, accommodating and helpful, had made special arrangements to pick us up from the nearby town, and personally showed us around the estate and the surrounding areas. She gave lots of useful and interesting information about potential spots we could go to see and eat, and made us feel right at home. The hut itself looked so beautiful, it was squeaky clean and painted with lovely tones of green and brown. It was furnished with taste and came well equipped with everything one might need to cook, relax and enjoy. The campfire area was also lovely and made for a heart-warming and romantic evening. We had the pleasure of meeting the two resident dogs who were friendly, playful and uplifted our day. The surrounding area is most beautiful and serene - and there many times I felt like I was in the midst of a fairy tale. We would love to come back again!

Amazing stay! Such a lovely little shepherds hut which was well equipped and perfect for us. Breakfast provided was a bonus and felt so welcome by Rosalind and family. We would definitely return if we were in the area!

I stayed with my dog Zip and we really enjoyed the hut. The river is peaceful and the hot tub relaxing. Would recommend.

Beautiful but in stunning peaceful surroundings. Rowena and Martin were very responsive to questions during our stay. Comfortable and warm despite springtime cooler evenings. We wanted to use the fire pit but weather a bit temperamental. Great location for getting out and about and Hollow Bottom pub in Guiting Power was also great find close by. Very enjoyable stay xx

the most beautiful little hut in a beautiful location. Everything spot on and both very kind hosts. Chris was kind enough to give us a lift up the hill to a lovely little trail for a walk. 10/10 Would recommend.

We had a great stay here. The farm itself was beautiful , we sat outside for most of the time and watched the world go by with a couple of drinks. Everything was right around the corner and a great pub a few mins away. Georgina also made the effort to come and say hello which we thought was nice.

We had a lovely peaceful couple of days beautiful place to spend time relaxing and the hosts Susan and Paulo are just lovely fun down to earth people look forward to returning later in the year

Fantastic little hut. Perfect for 2. Cosy without being cramped. Once inside the hut you feel like the only ones around for miles, it is silent and tranquil, but you are easily within walking distance from local restaurants/pubs. Will 100% revist if we are passing that way again.

Incredible night away for our 10 year anniversary. We asked for an early check in which Eloise helped with. The place was beautiful. Everything you could need. We ordered the hamper dinner for 2 and the food was spectacular. The hot tub wasn’t heated for when we arrived but as soon as we messaged Eloise, she sent someone round to get it heating again. Great service. Beautiful place and would definitely recommend. We felt very safe and our dog LOVED it. I was also recommend the Village pub, 15 minute walk away. The food and service was excellent

It was our second time at the Shepherds Hut and we loved it both times. The hut is just what you need for a little getaway, I would also recommend visiting local pub (walkable distance from the hut) Woolpack Inn, such a lovely place and people. If you like waking up to stunning views and fresh air, I wholeheartedly recommend staying at Shepherds Hut!

We loved every minute of our stay. We have two small children that loved running around and seeing the horses. The Huts are well equipped and clean, beautifully decorated and very cosy. The view from the huts is just breathtaking and the location itself is very peaceful and perfect if you are planning to visit the villages around the area. The host is very responsive and welcoming. We couldn’t ask for a more perfect weekend getaway. We will definitely be back again.

Beautiful location and amazing isolated get away. Perfect escape from busy life. Very clean and great communication on lead up to the stay. When we arrived we called to understand where to go. Leonie answered very quick and was very friendly and helpful. We will definitely be returning.

The Shepherd's Hut has everything you need for luxury camping! Lovely interior with dreamy touches such as sash windows, high-quality bedding, and enamelware. Well designed and clear handbook, and friendly and helpful hosts. We camped in style, cooked outdoors on the butane camping stove, provided, and roasted marshmallows (also provided) at night over the fire pit . It was also classy touch having your own WC and shower allotted to Shepherd's Hut. Fantastic location, 5 minute shuffle to a gravel beach on the banks of the River Wye, great for canoeists or just lazing around watching the swans.
