Battery operated lanterns provided, Shower / flushing toilet for each tent (approx 50m from tent). Converted barn for cooking, eating, relaxing. upstairs mezzanine play area for kids. The barn facilities need to be shared with the occupants of the other tents. All bedding and towels provided. Double and single airmattresses provided.

Delightful Bell Tent for two near Portreath

Situated in a meadow on our smallholding, our luxury 5 meter Bell Tent is perfect for a cosy getaway. Being only 2 1/2 miles from the beaches of Portreath and Porthtowan, it is ideally situated for exploring the north Cornish Coast. The shower room (which is shared if our Shepherd's Hut, which sleeps two, is also occupied) is only a few yards away from the tent in our beautifully converted horse trailer. We are able to offer storage for surf boards, bikes etc.

We stayed here for two nights with my husband and our dog, Freya. We absolutely loved it! It’s clear how much thought and care has gone into making this experience feels so cosy and memorable. The kitchen was so well stocked (with fresh eggs and an option to buy firewood), there was a space with games and books to borrow, lovely nooks for a barbecue or relaxing, and fairy lights to help you navigate the paths at night. There’s a greenhouse, a hammock, outdoor tables and the bathrooms are stocked with everything you need. Our tent was specious and really felt like a home away from home (including thoughtful touches like hot water bottles) and was such a magical place to spend a few nights. Harley was very responsive and recommended a few local restaurants too. We loved our stay and would come back in a heartbeat - thank you so much! 🌻

Glamping Bell Tent in Cornwall, Rescorla Retreats

I cannot praise Rescorla Retreats enough. The standard of camping was extremely high. Clean, and very well, comfortably kitted out bell tents, with comfy bedding, torches, spare batteries and hot water bottles. Add to that bunting and fairy lights, cushions and blankets, and it made it feel very cosy. Each tent had it's own fire pit with seats around it, and a covered dining bench/area, which again was well supplied with wood for the fire, firelighters, matches a camping stove, kettle, and all the cooking utensils you need. Each tent had it's own compost loo and allocated shower which was fun to use with great views of the countryside whilst you freshened up and made your armpits charm pits! It was peaceful and quiet with only 3 pitches on site which were well spaced out, and only the sounds of birdsong and farmyard animals as the soundtrack. I would 100% recommed staying here, I'm sure I will again. Thank you so much Rescorla Retreats for your attention to detail!

Secluded off grid holiday with sea views

This was our first AirBnB experience and did not disappoint. We enjoyed the rural setting and the simple, off-grid lifestyle. We were able to travel to lots of beautiful spots, often within 20 minutes, by car. It’s a wonderful, rugged part of the world. We felt cosy in the tent even in the 45 mph winds! The container was really well equipped with everything we needed. Claire was a friendly and really helpful host with loads of great local knowledge and recommendations.

Lovely experience all round. They had thought of everything to make your stay comfortable. Particularly loved the camp kitchen, everything you need.
