Cabin vacation rentals in City of Carlisle

A wonderful place to stay had everything we needed and more excellent peaceful location but with local amenities within a short drive just what we needed to shut off for a few days will definitely recommend to friends and family and hope to return again ourselves

Thank you for the stay. It was a great place to get the entire family (10 total including 3 kids!) together to spend a long weekend together. The place was secluded and peaceful and the views were spectacular (especially during starry nights). The kids loved playing hide and seek, relaxing in the hot tub and using the boardgames provided. And our teenager hijacked the cosy sofa and Netflix to watch the hunger games all weekend. The shopping centre wasn’t too long of a drive and there were lots of great walking spots within a short driving distance too. We definitely made use of the list of recommendations provided. Thanks again, and we hope to be back in the future. :)

The stay was incredible, especially with the snow. The cabin was so cosy and comfortable. The owner Kate was so understanding and friendly even when we lost (then found) the key. Would 100% recommend and go again.

Really amazing place would highly recommend this place if anyone’s wanting a weekend away extremely private and really amazing views with the river right underneath the pods had a really amazing time on our stay 10/10

Had an absolutely lovely stay at the cabin, David was a great host, very responsive and welcoming. The hot tub after a long walk up Carrock had to be the highlight of the stay. Would recommend to anyone wanting a restful time away in a beautiful location.

Amazing break over Xmas. Nice little tree up and some lights. Very cosy. Great Xmas walk only 10 mins from the lodge. To Blake fell. Very picturesque. Very quiet with soothing sounds from the stream behind. Hot tub was nice after a day of walks.

I had a very lovely experience. Host is very nice and her place is very clean and beautiful, i would say that it looks better on ground than picture...everybody there was very friendly. I was a bit scared because we are people of colour but I would say that I have never been happier

Lovely stay at Fellhill Pods. Accommodation was cosy, and plenty to do for the children on site. It snowed when we were due to leave and the hosts were wonderful and let us check out later. They even offered us an extra night stay if we couldn’t get home safely. We were able to leave, despite the snow, and we said we will return again.

The Herdie Hideaway was simply gorgeous! The location and surroundings are idyllic, the hut itself is spacious yet cosy, pristine, cute & had all you need for a trip away! Charlotte was at the end of the phone at all times and so helpful with local recommendations and updates on check in/weather etc. Will definitely be back and couldn’t recommend enough! Thank you 😍

Great place. True to Scandinavian style of living. Very well made and thoughtfully designed place. Hygge is what I always thought about. Slightly difficult to get to upper bedroom but cozy overall. Slightly closer to the roads but barely any traffic that could be a disturbance.

Great cabin in beautiful grounds. It had everything we needed, an amazing shower, a great log burner with some logs available, everything we needed in the kitchen, comfortable beds and great outdoor areas to relax in. Hosts were warm, welcoming, very helpful and responsive to needs. Would definitely recommend!

Me and my friends surprised our friend for her birthday. We had a great stay and loved every minute. The area is gorgeous, the lodge is perfect and was very clean. The host was very clear and brilliant with instructions. We can’t wait to return :)

We had a great stay here. This caravan has everything you need for a relaxing stay. Everything is great quality and the sofas are super comfortable + it’s only a 10 minute walk to Cockermouth which has loads of restaurants, shops and pubs to choose from. The caravan is cosy, perhaps best for a couple due to the size however we enjoyed our stay immensely!

Well presented spacious very clean lodge, great location brilliant views did 2 great walks to top of mountains in 3ft of snow.came back to a warm and cozy lodge. 3 bedrooms 2 bathrooms WOW nice lounge/kitchen very very pleased, handfull of board games to play , fantastic lodge to entertain my son adam and partner truso ,we all give it a " 10 from Len " will consider a booking later in the year if julie thinks we were suitable. Amazing stay at Eden Valley. The Shepherds hut was super clean and cosy. Very warm and had all the amenities needed. The hosts were amazing and proactive in contacting us with check in details and hot tub information. Would 100% stay again we loved it!!

Cosy cabin, with plenty of space for 2. Old school hot tub that can get hot af to enjoy the local farm and scenery.

Me and my family enjoyed every minute at Herdy Lodge. From arriving to great complimentary snacks to birthday decorations for my daughter to being sad leaving. Was such a clean and peaceful environment with beautiful surroundings. Loved watching the sheep and feeding the cheeky chickens. Bath was soo relaxing and comfortable. Kitchen was spacious and great for meal times. Soo glad I found this place. Look forward to visiting again. Hosts Andrew and Alison were great soo welcoming with great communication. Would recommend for a peaceful tranquil escape from city life.

We had an amazing stay in the Stickle Tarn. Pictures don’t do this place justice. We will 100% come back here

dobbin was a lovely quirky place to stay in. As a family of 3 we had everything we needed, there was an outside play area with various toys for our 8 year old to play with. the surroundings were beautiful, peaceful and out of the way but only a short car drive to various places. The hosts were really friendly and helpful, they couldn't do enough for us. we had a great time and didn't want to leave 🙂

Nice memories were created at Wendy's place. Cosy caravan with a fireplace that was already switched on for us when we arrived. There is an additional en- suite toilet that adds to the comfort. Our son found a nice sweet surprise on his bed that complemented our marvellous impression. Not to mention the attention to detail, every item you could need was at hand, even coffee and tea.

Excellent place to stay, within easy walking access of town centre and lake and central to many fells. Well equipped and spacious warm and cosy accommodation.
