We absolutely loved our stay at Sammy’s place. The flat was easy to find with the descriptions/directions given prior. The host was very quick at responding when I queried parking (which was no issue at all). It was all exactly as described with a nice homely feel. The bedding felt luxurious, the towels were soft, the sofas super comfy and there was even a bottle of wine and milk in the fridge. The location was superb, so close to the centre of Hexham, yet very quiet. Wouldn’t hesitate to go back or recommend to others. Thank you ☺️

We really enjoyed our stay in Keswick, Carlton 2 is a beautiful, spacious apartment. Adrian’s place is full of high end fixtures and thoughtful touches that make it a real welcoming home from home. As a host, Adrian communicates really well - we definitely hope to return.

John is a great host and his place was a real gem. Somehow hidden away but close to everything we needed to see and do. Would definitely stay again. Thank you John.

This was a fabulous stay. Did all it said on search. bedroom was roomy and bed comfy bathroom was small but everything placed to maximise space. shower easy to use and refreshing. kitchen had everything and more. only thing missing was a freezer and that I got from search. sofa in lounge comfy. tv . building heats up within 15 mins once thermostat in bedroom was put in play. as weather was nice , pulled 2 chairs out of outhouse and sat in patio area. neighbours were chatty. recommended

Gary's apartment is a joy to behold. A sympathetically designed loft with feature beams adding a rustic vibe, the accommodation is perfect for couples looking for luxury on a budget. The property is bright and spacious, super clean, well decorated and tastefully styled. Very comfy bed and linen, plenty of high quality pristine white towels in the stunning bathroom. The photos tell it all. Access via a smart key pad means you don't have the worry of losing the key and enables a smooth check in. Located in the centre of Whitehaven, there are numerous cafes on hand for breakfast as there is no kitchen. We enjoyed Howling Woolf at the Beacon in the harbour and the full English in Dixon's department store is a steal. Gary was really kind and attentive, responding to messages in super quick time. Places like this are rare, book it!

Such a stunning place, an absolute gem! The apartment was very spacious and beautifully decorated. Everything was really clean and and we all the amenities ine could think of. Never had so many alternatives for making coffee in one place 😄 Piers left a host of recommendations on what to do and where to eat for us as well. If you ever are in the area, this is the place to stay.

Simon's place was clean and tidy with a cosy, homey feel! We had everything we needed for a 2 night stay. Even in the cold weather, the place was warm enough on mornings and evenings. The location is fantastic, only 5 min walk to the main street and so close many attractions. We couldn't get a parking space on the street, but as Simon mentioned the surrounding streets are also available. I would recommend this place to anyone wanting a cosy getaway in the lakes.

We've been coming to Windermere and surrounding area for over 20 years. Deb's accomodation is absolutely perfectly located for both Bowness and Windermere. It's a stunning property, pristinly clean and you feel right at home from the outset. We'll be back for sure!

What a beautiful place to stay! Everything about this house was fantastic. The location was perfect right in the heart of Bowness with easy access to the lake, shops, bars and restaurants. Parking available for several cars (We had 4 but you could easily fit more). The house itself is just amazing with everything catered for all of our party which ranged from 21 to 80 year olds. The kitchen and dining areas are great and well stocked with absolutely everything you need. Plenty of space in the main living room for our party of 9 to all gather together. Bedrooms were all ensuite, well decorated and very comfortable. The games room with Pool table and hot tub was a great place to relax and have some fun, and the cinema room was fantastic. Great views from the balcony, up and down the Windermere valley. Communication with host David, was 1st class with immediate responses to any questions and a very flexible approach to requests. Would highly recommend and we will hopefully return.

The Greta was a lovely place to stay. The house was so clean and comfortable, a home from home with plenty of space. The surroundings were lovely, private, safe for the kids and in a great location. I would definitely stay here again ❤️

We had such a lovely stay, James was very helpful and responsive. The house felt like a home from home and had everything we needed and more. It was the cleanest Air BnB we've stayed in, with the most comfertable bed we've stayed in too! Neighbours were really helpful and friendly. The children loved waving to the horses. The parents loved having a filter coffee with a sea view, it was bliss. We can't wait to stay again, thanks so much!

Lovely house in a quiet location, easy to walk into town or travel into the surrounding area of the LD respectively. Walkable from the train station. House was clean, spacious with an excellent kitchen which we made much use of. Host was friendly, helpful and personable. Highly recommend, one of my favourite rentals to date.

The photos don't do this property justice—it truly exceeded our expectations. The house was impeccably clean and well-maintained, with every detail attended to. Jane was incredibly welcoming and made sure all the information was clearly communicated, which made check-in and our entire stay effortless. The location was excellent, placing us within walking distances to numerous restaurants and hiking trails. The property was not only great value for money but also wonderfully family friendly. We truly hope we can stay again sometime soon!

Kirk Andrews house was a fantastic place to stay for a large group, we were four adults and five children. It was equipped with everything we needed, rooms were large & clean, bathrooms equipped with plenty towels & also toiletries. The pool table was an added bonus which the kids loved. For such a big house it was lovely & warm, the only criticism is the chairs & sofas which are well past their best and in need of replacing but this did not spoil our stay at all. The house is very private and surrounded by beautiful views on all sides, lovey walks all around too.

Had an amazing stay in this beautifully restored historic apartment in the heart of Brampton. The decor and furnishings are top-notch—clearly, no expense was spared. It’s stylish, comfortable, and perfectly blends old charm with modern luxury. Great location, spotless space, and a fantastic host. Highly recommend!

We had an excellent few days away at The Diary. Jenny ensured check in was very smooth with clear directions for parking & to the door. Once inside the property we had everything we needed for a long weekend of recharging & hiking. Comfy beds, a powerful shower & wicked underfloor heating made our stay very comfortable, with all amenities in the property or found by a short walk to the high street. The exposed beams & chunky wooden decor give the property great character, and allow it to feel cosy yet spacious. We loved our stay & would stay again!

Excellent and cosy stay in a comfortable basement flat. Very quiet setting with lovely views from the door and a beautiful quiet garden to utilise. Walking distance to Grasmere and onto the hills. Everything of good quality in the flat and easy to access and park. Highly recommended

Great apartment in a great location. A 10 min drive to some amazing places. We visited Aira Force Waterfall, Blencathra and the farm shop nearby (Basecamp). Everything had been thought of and as a family of 4 we were comfortable and had enough room. Raluca made herself available if we needed anything at all. It was a bonus to have the facilities of the resort available; swimming, restaurant, gym, although we didn’t use them due to a short stay. Great apartment and we would love to visit again in the future.

Fiona’s place is absolutely well priced. She was an extremely flexible host, allowing us to check in a day early since our travel plans changed. She met us upon arrival and gave us a wonderful tour of the place. She gave us recommendations of some things to do in the area, and overall made us feel very at home. She even gave us recommendations of places to visit in the next country we were traveling to. I’m not sure we’ve ever had a more personable, caring host. We’d be ecstatic to stay here again next time we’re in the Lake District
