Apartment was incredible! Looks great on pictures, but even better in person. Very private and peaceful with a luxury feel and hot tub was very nice in the cold weather. Owen was responsive and friendly, giving clear instructions to make the experience seamless for us. Definitely recommend this place, had an amazing time!

Me and my boyfriend stayed here for a few nights and it was absolutely perfect!! The views of the mountains were stunning and the place was in such a quiet cosy location! There were plenty of little towns to explore and lots of nice walks. We went to the Aira Force waterfalls which was not even a 5 minute drive away. Would really recommend staying here it’s the perfect break away from a busy life! <3 The place was so comfortable and tidy too, and had everything we needed :)

Absolutely beautiful hidden gem in the middle of the lakes. Lots of walks on the doorstep. Plenty of information for the walks in the welcome pack. Lovely scenery and very peaceful. Apartment has essential amenities and clean. Alan and Cheryl were very welcoming and easy to contact.

Margaret is friendly and always very approachable. I felt nothing was too much trouble. Super, well equipped accommodation. Lovely Christmas tree and Christmassy touches which added to grandchildrens’enjoyment. I will recommend to everyone! Thank you so much.

Had a perfect stay. It's about half a mile straight off the M6 Great instructions to access, a parking spot (was a little tight when the other cars parked up) warm, cosy, spacious with a very comfy bed. Didn't use the shower so can't comment on that. A pretty full kitchen with everything you needed A huge Tesco not too far away either. Was a little bit noisy at some times with whomever the neighbours were but not too distracting Cheaper than a purple palace with much more amenities. Would recommend and definitely stay again

Great little apartment. Pristine. We arrived a little early and expected to explore the town, but Philip was happy for us to check in and showed us how everything worked. Very comfortable. Near amenities. Lovely break 👍

The host was very responsive and friendly. The place was exactly as listed and was spotless. The range of movies to watch was also massive!

great wee place right off the motorway. clean, cozy, characterful. lots of information provided about local amenities. we just did a flying visit, but someone could definetly stay there for a holiday.

Perfect place to stay when bagging Wainwrights, very quiet, comfy beds and ideal there are two bedrooms! Check in was easy, car park right behind , close to shops and pubs but not noisy. Well worth the money and will definitely be returning

We had an excellent few days away at The Diary. Jenny ensured check in was very smooth with clear directions for parking & to the door. Once inside the property we had everything we needed for a long weekend of recharging & hiking. Comfy beds, a powerful shower & wicked underfloor heating made our stay very comfortable, with all amenities in the property or found by a short walk to the high street. The exposed beams & chunky wooden decor give the property great character, and allow it to feel cosy yet spacious. We loved our stay & would stay again!

Our second stay. Perfect spot for a couple and a dog to explore Haltwhistle and the surrounding area. Very close to the town centre!

lovely apartment in an ideal location for all of the local sights of Keswick. considering its proximity to the park, it was quiet and private. would definitely stay again. my springer spaniel loved it too! perfect for dogs and humans alike.

We enjoyed another wonderful stay here, another few days watching the red squirrels pass the windows, listening to the beck flow and enjoying the beautiful location that is Thornthwaite. It’s always a comfortable, homely stay.

We’ve stayed here before & I can’t recommend it highly enough. Incredibly comfortable & immaculately clean & great value too. Excellent hosts.

Colin contacted us prior to our stay to give us accurate details of where to go, and what to do. He gave us his contact number incase there was any issues, and told us to contact him anytime. His apartment was very clean, the bed was very comfortable, and the photos do not do it justice.. and the views from the balcony were 100%. The location was perfect for what we was looking for. We would highly recommend ,and definitely stay there again.😊

What a perfect spot for exploring the Lake District! Walks from the site, easy driving to Grasmere, Ambleside and Windermere. Site was lovely and well kept. Apartment was comfortable and clean, had everything we needed. Would definitely recommend.

Lovely studio, in a great location. Short drive to Penrith/Keswick and the lakes. Site its self is lovely, pool and leisure facilities are excellent, clean and long opening hours. Bar/restaurant on site seems nice enough, we only had a drink (quite pricey, but nothing you don't expect at these places. There is no other bars etc within walking distance). Studio itself was just as described, bed was comfy. Everywhere was clean and homely. Facilities were great, bathroom lovely, coffee machine a nice touch. Would be good to have a toaster though. Cant fault the hosts- responded quickly and very friendly. Overall we really enjoyed our stay here, and wouldn't hesitate to return.
