Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Channel Islands of California

If your going to a event at the intuit dome or sofi stadium this is a great place to stay. It took around 15 minutes to get to the stadium. The house is as described and looks like the pictures. The house was very clean and spacious. Directions to get in we’re clear and very simple. I’d love to stay here again if I’m in the area and catching a game.

Excellent one bedroom home for what i needed. Melissa is also an excellent host. All straight forward and Melissa was awesome and quick to respond. 15-20 minute walk to everything in Long Beach. I plan to stay again this time next year.

We just returned from a 5 day stay and couldn’t have had a better time. Laura is a great person and a really super host. The Pacific Coast HWY is 4 buildings down from the house and at first I was worried I made a mistake. But all for not as when you are sleeping in the bed room you are blocked by many 2 story buildings and it is very peaceful and safe feeling. The front of the house is where you park then a gated wall to keep people out and so the kids/pets don’t wander. We left our towels/cooler shoes out over 5 days nothing disappeared, it’s a nice safe area. A huge plus is Laura has all the sand toys, boogie boards, beach equipment you'll need (at least on our first visit, we’ll be back). They have pet stuff too and even though we didn’t bring ours the cottage didn’t smell like animals. Okay now the Beach and Town. It’s amazing, read the history on the walls. The Beach is right there. Everything you need is 10 mins walking on either side. Walk on the green belt to get places. TY

James’s place was the perfect spot for us to stay. We were in town with our 2 dogs and the place was so clean and comfortable, and the yard made things so easy with the dogs. We had everything we needed for a comfortable and nice stay and to make the food we brought to our friends’ party. The neighborhood was great and made it easy to walk the dogs, and parking was easy. We parked on the street right outside the entrance but there is an option to park on the property if for some reason there isn’t easy street parking (can’t imagine this happening). There were lots of restaurants around and people walking to nearby places during the day. The location was easy for us to get to Claremont and Pasadena area for things we had planned. James was a great host and while we didn’t really need anything during our stay, he was responsive to our quick messages and we knew if we needed anything he’d respond quickly. We would absolutely stay here again!

Wonderful stay! We travelled with our family and have a toddler. The house was very accommodating for our family with a whole room full of toys and books, even high chair! We took advantage of the sand toys that were in the house as well. Clean house and had everything we needed to make dinners. Shawn would proactively text us if we needed anything and gave some yummy local places to eat that we can walk to. Overall a great trip! Thanks Shawn!

This home was beautiful, clean, and comfortable. Really enjoyed the outdoor space!

Craig was very responsive and helpful. The place was exactly as pictured and for being in a very LA type location it was still relatively quiet throughout the day and night. We were a group of girls traveling and we really appreciated the makeup towels provided in the bathroom. Lots of cleaning supplies and was exactly as pictured.

Mark was very responsive on check-in day, as well as throughout the week. If we had any questions, Mark had the answer. The Airbnb is a short drive from several different restaurants and bakeries, making it conveniently located. I wouldn't say it's walkable to restaurants/grocery stores, but it's doable. We enjoyed being able to drive less than 10 minutes to get what we need for day-to-day things. One thing to keep in mind is that it's at least 20 minutes away from the LAX airport with moderate traffic. Mark does have a garage available for his guest's car(s). The fact that there are two bathrooms makes it very nice, since we had more than 4 guests staying. Hot water got hot quickly, so it's great if you enjoy that. Turning the lights on was a little tricky at first, but super easy once you know how (they're dimmable/adjustable!). There are a couple desks for working/reading, and the kitchen amenities are standard. Can't go wrong with this rental; I recommend it!

had a wonderful stay at Clara's poolhouse. place has everything you need, for a one or two person stay. its a great neighborhood with a lot of cool stuff to do nearby, i didnt get a chance to use the pool, but i we had some sunny days, and just vibing on a chase lounge was nice enough. would stay again

Levy's place was definitely what I was looking for when I planned to stay in Orange. The add-on of the heated pool was amazing for those cold nights when you still want to go for a swim. The jacuzzi was nice and hot and ready to go. The additional games in the backyard definitely kept us entertained in between our weekend events. Levy was very responsive to any questions or concerns I had and she accommodated us with a generous late check-out. If I'm ever visiting the area again and Im in need of a place to stay like Levy's, I would definitely stay here again. Thank you.

I had an incredible stay at Stephen’s place! He was so kind and welcoming, making sure I had everything I needed for a comfortable visit. The home was spotless, well-maintained, and exactly as described. It was the perfect retreat—peaceful yet conveniently close to everything LA has to offer. One of the highlights was spending time by the jacuzzi, where we hung out with one of the dogs—such a sweet and fun moment! That was actually the only time I saw any of them, but they were clearly well-behaved and a great part of the home’s charm. Stephen’s hospitality, combined with the comfortable space and great location, made this an unforgettable stay. The check-in and check-out process was seamless, and I appreciated the thoughtful touches throughout. I’d absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a welcoming, relaxing, and well-located spot in Sherman Oaks!

We truly enjoyed our stay... it felt as though we had escaped to a secret hidden oasis. The attention, details and care Nathan and Humberto put into their home is what made us appreciate it more. Extremely warm and thoughtful host. Every amenity is right on hand in their full Chef's kitchen 😍. Perfect for a couples getaway or a solo R&R. Me, the Wife, my daughter and puppy came for a short stay onbthe weekend to celebrate our 4th year wedding anniversary. One word that stood out for us was "Inspirational". We're going to be looking to buy in the near future and this home gave us an outlook on what it would look like to own a home. And it felt a lot like home should feel. Allison was responsive during our stay, and very helpful with information we needed during the stay. Quiet neighborhood, lots pf people walking their dogs and babies. I worked in the area before too for a time, so I know there are some good restaurants and things to do nearby just didn't have the chance to enjoy them this time as we stayed inside and enjoyed our time with each other. Got to read my book on the front lawn, made some delicious meals for the family, bed slept great. It was very comfortable, chic, and accomodating. If you want a peaceful serene stay, this is it!

David and Ginger are good hosts. They allowed us to get in earlier than the stipulated time. We made good their home and the easy access to Long Beach. They were flexible to us in exiting the home so we could wait there instead of the airport. Thank you

This was the perfect accommodation to meet our needs. We stayed here 5 nights while visiting Disneyland, which was about a 30 minute drive away. It was a great home-base for exploring the Long Beach area and some of the beach towns north and south of there. It was extremely clean and well stocked with a variety of toiletries and kitchen items-much more than usual. All the fixtures and appliances were much better than average. A great fit for our two kids, our dog and us as well. The hosts could not have been friendlier, but we had all the privacy we needed. It has a nice little backyard with artificial grass that was great for the dog. I wish I could rent this unit for this price everywhere we go. It's a great value. Highly recommended. 👍

My stay with Holly was flawless.She was hospitable, adept, and actually malleable at meeting my needs. The place waz perfectly swt up with many cozy, just so touches. Holly anticipated my every need and yet, was so private, and respectful. An amazing secret respite in the middle of LA!!!!!

Overall a great stay and home base for exploring the area. We stayed with our toddler and the bin of books and toys was awesome and kept him pretty occupied. I also appreciated the easy checkout and not having to do a billion things before leaving because its hard enough to get a 2 year old out the door! The host was responsive and let us check in a little early.

I would absolutely recommend staying in Stacy’s guest house! The guest house is clean, spacious, and fully equipped with kitchen supplies, a washer and dryer, shower toiletries, and anything you may need. The area was fairly quiet yet conveniently located near the airport and stadium. We felt safe, comfortable, and had lots of fun. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would love to return in the future.

Detail detail detail!! As someone who prides myself in the details, if that is you, then stay here. I think everyone’s biggest worry in booking an Airbnb is checking in, parking, will it look like the pictures? etc. This property is everything as advertised and has everything you could need and more. I travel for work and with hotel prices in LA. This is going to be my new go to spot! Can’t wait to visit again. Big shoutout to Ida and her hospitality. Ps.. need to know what detergent she uses.. my clothes have never smelled better!

Clean house, quiet neighborhood, nice backyard and landscaping. It checked the boxes we needed for our trip to Disney and I thought it was good value for what we paid.

With just a couple steps from the beach, this property was amazing! It has its own garage for parking your vehicle, grill in the front, and washer dryer on site. Really enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to anyone!
