Our family had a spectacular summer at Mary's place. The house is spacious and very comfortable. The views (San Gabriel mountains, city lights of the valley) were absolutely breathtaking. The house is situated high in a canyon with beautiful trees and lots of privacy. We loved watching the birds (including hawks and hummingbirds) from our high perch. Occasionally, we could hear the whinny of horses or the calls of a llama from a nearby home. Each time we drove up the canyon road, we felt like we were leaving the bustle of the city behind and returning to our own quiet lovely place. The rooms of the house are quite large with comfortable furnishings. The two bathrooms are older but are very clean and functional. The kitchen has a new electric stove and a new dishwasher. This is the kind of place that you immediately settle into and feel at home. Mary is an attentive and delightful host. She went out of her way to make us feel comfortable and welcome at the house.

We loved our stay. Host is super friendly & responsive! Close to DisneyLand, Sofi and beaches! Shopping groceries & restaurants all close by too! Felt very safe in this neighborhood. Would def book again when back in LA! Had everything we needed for our toddler too! Yard space was so nice to hang out and enjoy the SoCal weather too! House was nice and clean. Only minor complaint is parking - we had 2 families/2 vehicles. Couldn’t both fit in back parking together by space/trees so coming home at night after parks or Sofi was hard to find street parking close by. Esp on a street cleaning day 😅 but I won’t hold that against the host. Just a heads up for others with 2 small families coming into town!

Sam's place was perfect for a one night stay. Easy check in. We really appreciated the snacks and drinks provided! Would definitely stay again! Beautiful art pieces all around.

Fantastic house! Very clean and cozy! Avi helped us get in last minute after another listing canceled on us. He really saved our thanksgiving!

Definitely worth 5 stars or more ( if I could give more). John and Nicky are very responsive. Here are my feedbacks: - Clear and easy check in information: the check in gave us the instructions on where to park our car on the driveway, and how to walk to the ADU, which is the studio that I reserved - The house is clean and sparkly stunning. I love how they organize and make things super easy to find. - Safe and quiet neighborhood: 10 mins away from Disneyland, and easy to find some good restaurants around. I love the Garden Walk nearby , so I can enjoy the Christmas in the air - I was confused a bit when received an updated address, but John and Nicky quickly explained and clear out the concern. I will definitely be back in the future. Again, highly recommended this vacation home and those awesome hosts

I had a fantastic stay at Shannon’s. Her home is very cozy & comfortable, the neighborhood is great, and Shannon herself is a really wonderful and nice woman who was a super attentive host and very helpful. I highly recommend this place if you’re coming to LA!

A great stay! We booked last minute and it was an amazing find. Jeremy was a super responsive host and provided great instructions for the stay. The place it self was a great place with space for both my husband and I to function without being in each other's space. The garage was also helpful for not having to look for parking late at night. Definitely recommend and would be back again if we're ever in town.

The apartment was perfect! It was comfortable, cozy, with a very functional kitchen, a bathroom and a living room/desk/bedroom space that was spacious enough to be very comfortable for business travel. It is located in a quiet area, with a little space in the garden for breakfast in the sun if wanted. Elizabeth was helpful, super responsive and friendly. Recommended.

Our group just needed a place to crash for the night... this place was so much more than a crash pad. it was quiet and restful. My friend says he hasn't slept that well in months. It had the feel of being in the heart of the city with lots to do and places to go, but was restful too.

Excellent property, great location and perfect host. We loved our stay here and Luca was incredibly accommodating.

We were a group of 7 (4 of which flew in from nyc) who stayed here for thanksgiving. The kitchen and dining space was good for our needs since we didn't cook too much. We asked the host in advance regarding utensils and alex replied super fast so we came prepared and brought our own chopsticks. Overall had a good stay, we couldn't really find the spare kitchen trash bags but that wasn't too much of an issue. If you have any questions just ask the host, they reply pretty fast! As a side note the neighbors were also very nice but just be careful when exiting/entering the front door since the handle does get hot in the sun.

We needed a place to stay for my father's procedure at Cedar Sinai and this Airbnb was perfect! Very easy walk over with convenient coffee and food options surrounding it. Inside the Airbnb, was great too as the rooms were very spacious and clean. Our host was very responsive and made check-in/out very convenient. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to stay in this area.

Tom was warm and welcoming, his home was magical and we felt at home there at once. All our needs were met. Tom served us a lovely breakfast every morning. My expectations were exceeded on every level. Tom is such a gracious host and generous human being. We would love to have the opportunity to stay there again someday.

This is my second stay with Kristin and Chris. They are wonderful hosts who made me feel right at home. The room was spotless and smelled very fresh and clean. There are nice amenities like a personal coffee maker, mini fridge, microwave and basket of snacks in the room. There is a downtown area within walking distance full of restaurants, cafes and nightlife. It's within a mile of LAX, so it's a perfect option if you want to be close to the airport. Thank you Kristin and Chris for a great stay!

I have so many positive things to share about our stay at Karilyn’s place. From the moment we arrived, she made us feel welcome and was incredibly attentive to both my wife and me. To help my wife feel comfortable, she even spoke in Spanish, which was a huge help. Karilyn went out of her way to assist us with various needs – she accompanied me to the bank for assistance with some issues and took my wife to the supermarket. Over our 41-day stay, her support made all the difference. Additionally, when I had a problem with the bed size, she was extremely understanding and even provided a new bed and a new mattress to ensure my comfort. Overall, our experience at Karilyn’s home was wonderful, and we’re very grateful for her hospitality.

Jacklyn was a LOVELY host. Incredibly friendly and generous; we chatted for quite a while. The house is very consistent with the description- beautiful old house, lots of interesting stuff around. This is what Airbnb used to be like back in the old days (which I really miss personally). If you’re expecting an anonymous hotel room in someone’s house, this place is not for you. But if you want to stay someplace with some quirks and character, and be treated more like family than a customer, this is a great choice.

Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will fondly remember our time at this lovely place. The attention to detail in this home is remarkable. You will find everything you need, from toothbrushes and various toiletries to an abundance of cozy blankets and special kitchen touches that any guest would appreciate. It genuinely felt like a home away from home. The garden is stunning, with large flowering bushes, beautifully arranged flower beds, and plenty of games like darts, chess, and various balls, providing entertainment for all ages. The property features two distinct outdoor spaces: one side has a shared area with the hosts, including a pool and gorgeous gardens where you still feel private, while the other side is a lush, secluded green zone that's entirely yours to enjoy. The beds are very comfortable, and the living room is perfect for relaxation. We will fondly remember our stay and hope to return. The thoughtful touches and warm atmosphere made our stay truly special

Suzanne is such a wonderful person, who really wants you to have the best stay. She preprepared breakfast in the morning, so it is ready for you to make it you you get up. She gives wonderful advice on where to go to eat. If you need anything, she helps you. Her home is not far from the Universal studios, Hollywood, Hollywood sign and other great location. Her cat is a lovely little one, who loves attention. Would definitely recommend to stay here. But you should have a car to get around to everything.
