House vacation rentals in Cape Girardeau

We had a great time for a short time away for our spring break. We had hiking planned In local state parks and also took a trip to Garden of the gods. The hot tub was a nice way to relax after a day away. We enjoyed having a fire and was helpful to have firewood available to use. We saw tons of stars and heard many owls. It was peaceful and a very quiet setting. The house was clean and we loved that it was pet friendly as well. Check it was easy and Allison checked in frequently. Also bonus to have washer and dryer in the home as well. Thank you!

We had a team of 9 for a week and the place had everything we needed! Abbie was a responsive host and the location was fantastic. Memories to be made and non stop conversation starters. One of the most fun air bnbs that I’ve been a part of over the years. Thank you!

The location was truly fantastic, offering a wonderful sense of privacy. We especially enjoyed the comfortable bed and the excellent hot tub. The only area for improvement would be the couch, which unfortunately wasn't as comfortable as the rest of the accommodations.

We LOVE Alto Cabin! Gorgeous scenery and very relaxing. The house is ADORABLE with something for everyone! Wrap around porch, game area for the kids, and an idyllic back patio, campfire seating all beautifully landscaped and decorated inside and out! We enjoyed yoga on the deck, a dip in the hot tub and games at the table (with plenty of seating for gamers which was a big reason I picked Alto Cabin). We each had our own rooms AND bathrooms which was another WIN! Saw some wildlife in the forest including deer and maybe even Big Foot?! LOVED IT!!! Thank you to our hosts for sharing this little slice of heaven!

Friends and I had a great stay. Beautiful old home that is nicely updated. We used Wrightway travel to get a shuttle to wineries, and this was a great home base. Would stay here again. A couple quirks to keep in mind while you’re planning your trip: there’s no real TV room. So, if your group intends to watch something as a group, keep that in mind. No full oven but does have a nice countertop air fryer. Lots of plates, glassware, and kitchen and condiment basics are included. The hot tub was nice! Also, we ate brunch at The Iron Whisk nearby and really enjoyed our food!

This place is Perfectly located., whether you are looking for wineries or you are simply a nature lover. You are only minutes away from Giant City, Anna, and Carbondale. The true bonus is the hotub in back. ☆☆☆☆☆ Thank you Kim and we hope to be back.

This is the second time I stayed in this particular location. The first time wasn't an anomaly. Awesome stay. You can tell Monty takes pride in his location.

We had another great stay with Tom and Kelley at Mulberry Farms in Carbondale, IL. The big farm house is fantastic as are the grounds and scenery. The house is wonderfully furnished and equipped with everything we needed. We spend every evening sitting around the campfire. The best part of our stay was the friendliness of our hosts. Tom and Kelley treated us like family, and made us feel very welcome. We have stayed there before, and we always look forward to seeing them. They are genuinely good people.

A group of us (7 people) came for an event that was happening nearby and we all really enjoyed our stay. There was plenty of room for all of us. Michelle was flexible regarding an early check-in and responded in a timely manner with any inquiries we had. The Airbnb being next to the Honey Heist Mead Co was an added plus. We talked about accommodation for next year's event and we agreed to stay at this AirBnb again if it's available!

Cape Charm is an excellent place to stay! The owners were very kind and helpful while we were there. The house was spotless and in a great location for us. We were in town for SEMO baseball and we could easily walk to the park.

Andrew’s place was unexpectedly an amazing place to stay at, loved everything there. With 3 bedrooms having 2 bathrooms instead of 1 would help a lot, as for the garage having a remote to open it would be less hassle than entering the house going inside the garage opening it from inside then get in the car take it inside. Other than that the place is amazing and very well organized, have the garage makes it safe and secure, sadly stayed short time .. Next time I come back again will definitely try to stay a bit longer days, definitely 💯 advise anybody who wants to rent an Airbnb nearby this spot, this place is amazing, secure & feel like in home and more .. much appreciated and thanks to Andrew & his crew 🙏🏻💐

We enjoyed our second visit to Tracy’s place. Plenty of room for our family to enjoy a visit with our SIU student. Tracy was flexible with our checkout since we had a late flight back home which was greatly appreciated. We will be back!

This was a great spot for us! We were not at the house but to sleep and it met our needs perfectly. Michael has taken on a restoration of this beautiful home and done a fabulous job!

Lovely house with the comfiest couch and great beds! Close to downtown but in a quiet little section, it was exactly what we wanted while staying a few days in town.

Great weekend trip to the Cape for a track meet at SEMO. Chip was a great host and the house was very lovely. We will definitely stay here the next time we are in town for track.

I stayed here on an extended stay for 2 months. Charles and his wife were absolutely a gift from above. Being a solo first time traveler was new for me, but this place helped me feel like I was at home. They were responsive with everything that I needed. The place was also fully stocked with everything that I may have needed, even extra things that I didn’t think that I needed (trash bags, sandwich bags, paper towels, crock pot, various food seasonings, COFFEE :) etc.) You will be very lucky if you are able to book this place, it’s truly a treat. It’s also close to everything like the mall, Walmart, various places to eat, downtown, literally everything. The balcony is also a cool place to hang out. I’d definitely stay here again.

Jessica's place is exactly as advertised. The house is clean and the surroundings are beautiful and peaceful. I have stayed with Jessica many times and will continue to do so. Jessica's place is a must stay and ranked at top of my list.
