Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Cape Girardeau

We had a great time for a short time away for our spring break. We had hiking planned In local state parks and also took a trip to Garden of the gods. The hot tub was a nice way to relax after a day away. We enjoyed having a fire and was helpful to have firewood available to use. We saw tons of stars and heard many owls. It was peaceful and a very quiet setting. The house was clean and we loved that it was pet friendly as well. Check it was easy and Allison checked in frequently. Also bonus to have washer and dryer in the home as well. Thank you!

The perfect relaxing cabin. A short drive from gorgeous wineries and a quick walk to a beautiful hiking trail where we found over 12 mushroom species. Highly recommend this host!

Excellent little cabin in the woods! Well furnished and came with everything you’d want and expect out of an AirBNB. 10/10 would recommend to anyone who wants the outdoorsy experience with a clean and cozy place to stay.

We enjoyed exploring the many beautiful parks in the region, relaxing on the huge deck, playing pool in the game room, cooking together in the large kitchen, kayaking, frisbee golf practice, and hiking the property. We had a great stay with no issues and made family memories at this beautiful house. We loved Elm Cabin! So beautiful and had everything we needed. When I didn’t see a fan in the bedroom, I panicked—I like the movement of air and the subtle sound. Lo and behold, a small fan was waiting for us in the bedroom dresser! The hot tub was a great way to relax after a long day of hikes! We will definitely stay again!

This was my first airb&b and I absolutely loved it!! It was perfect for a getaway weekend for my husband’s birthday and we had a blast! Everything was clean, and very cute. The hot tub was perfect on a rainy weekend!! It rained the whole stay but we had a break in the storm and decided to jump in for a minute. We will definitely be back!!!

A beautiful and peaceful place to stay. We’d definitely stay here again! My favorite part was the view of the bight sky stars through the large bedroom window.

The place was super cozy! The hot tub was clean! My only complaint was that the beds were not comfortable and it was hard to sleep, otherwise we had a great time! The area is super pretty!

Wonderful house and location to SIU. Weather didn't cooperate, but served its purpose!! Thank you for the hospitality and the amazing weekend that was very comfortable for our family of 10! I highly recommend this place, especially for large groups and SIU events!!

We really enjoyed our stay. It was a quick overnight stay but it had everything we needed. the patio is so cute. Wish we had more time to use the firepit.

The Owls Nest was a perfect place to stay with our family and our 2 dogs. The fenced in back yard had plenty of room, a fire pit and nice sized deck. The bedrooms were all cozy and had comfortable beds. The living room has plenty of room to play games or watch a movie and the kitchen has everything you need . We love to hike and Mt Bike and this location was close to many hiking trails and about a 5 min drive to Touch of Nature trails for riding. We would definitely book another stay at the Owls Nest!

Everything about this place was splendid!! Even in the winter! The place was VERY clean, well-kept, and just felt welcoming!! It was the perfect quiet get-a-way with gorgeous views! We would LOVE to check this lovely place out again in the spring, summer, or fall. Kevin was very responsive, friendly, and accommodating. Very charming! We would LOVE to visit again.

This was my 2nd extended stay at this home. Host is very responsive. It is a quick walk to the Riverwalk or the casino if you want. I stayed with my dog and appreciated the fenced in yard.

The perfect place for a peaceful weekend getaway! I really enjoyed walking through the woods, playing fetch with their sweet pup, and soaking in the hot tub after hiking in the nearby Shawnee National Forest. Kevin was super helpful and responsive. I would love to come back sometime!

Loved staying at this location. So close to restaurants and shops and outdoor adventures. Very quiet. Amazing views of stars. Plenty of sleeping spaces. Very responsive and helpful host!

What wonderful, peaceful retreat! We were looking for somewhere to unplug and we found it! I honestly can't wait to go back.

Kevin's property was perfect. He and his family were very responsive and helpful when we needed some assistance with the RV. We came in late our first night but with Kevin's instructions had no problem finding the spot. the location is very peaceful. We wanted to do some hikes and see fall foliage and Kevin's place was a perfect base camp. We will definitely be back. I'm already shopping the idea with a few other families to find a weekend when we can rent all 3 RVs!
