Vacation rentals in Canto da Areia

We enjoyed a lot our stay in this peaceful and authentic house. The surroundings and the garden are just amazing. The host though about everything and welcomed us with great welcome basket. We would definitely recommend this place!

Very large house, for a family of 4, with children, was excellent. The views are wonderful, breathtaking. Near downtown as long as you have a car. Calm environment and which fully fits into the Azorean environment. They also offered some items, such as water, coffee and tea. We recommend it.

Even before we arrived, we had the feeling that we were warmly welcomed. We received all the necessary information in advance. The house is on a quiet street. The view, the pool and the evening atmosphere are indescribable! At around 10 p.m. the Cory's Shearwaters come back from hunting and hold their "concert" for about 30 minutes. A unique experience that is rare outside of the Azores. The house is very well equipped, you can cook really well and there are also great restaurants not far away. It was super clean. We were given a very warm welcome and everything was explained and shown to us thoroughly. We had a wonderful time in this beautiful house!

Great place, with everything you need to spend a few days. Is bigger than what it looks on the pictures and the view is amazing! Is a bit far of any grocery store or restaurant, so prepare accordingly.

Immaculate and very comfortable and excellent value. Well-equipped though I didn't use much. A bit of a walk into town, but the house and view made up for it. Recommended.

Wow. Just...wow. A beautiful, home in an absolutely stunning setting. Everything felt new and clean with modern but inviting architecture. The view from the kitchen/living room/balcony is gorgeous and peaceful. The pool is lovely and just steps away. The place was immaculate and Cleide, who manages the property, is absolutely lovely and extremely helpful. The house is a few minutes walk or drive to natural pools, outdoor natural pools, and a small but very cute market for groceries. Every morning, Cleide left us a box of fresh pastries and cheese and meat for breakfast. We loved this property and would highly recommend it to anyone who wants to take a deep breath and maybe do some dolphin and whale watching :)

Vitamin Sea Azores was just perfect! It was beautiful, well kept, fully stocked with brand new appliances, and exceptionally clean. We rented out both top and bottom apartments, for the five of us, with lots of rooms and space to spare. The pool is well maintained with gorgeous views overlooking the countryside and ocean. Bed sheets were first class! Our host Britanny was also first class as she had everything we needed to make us feel right at home, and checked up on us to see if we needed anything else. Location was also great because it was just a short car ride to downtown Horta with so many great restaurants as well as other beautiful places in island of Faial. We also took the ferry over to the island of Pico, for a day tour, which was very convenient. We will definitely go back and return to such a natural and relaxing place.
