This cabin was an amazing experience it gave us the opportunity to have a fantastic break, be in touch with nature and yet to be so close to Brighton and the small little beautiful villages. The owners were absolutely brilliant lovely people down to earth with excellent communication and customer service. If you are looking to a relaxed time off from the everyday stressful life and live few days as simple as it can get then I certainly recommend this beautiful gem.

Hosts Christine and Joe were lovely people, so welcoming. The cabin itself is wonderful, and would highly recommend. It is very tastefully furnished and the bed is so comfortable. The shower is also very good. Simple to use heating is available if required. Separate lockable gate / access to the cabin. Very quiet and peaceful for a restful nights sleep. Pleasant outside seating area is like a secret garden. ( unfortunately we couldn’t make the most of it because the weather wasn’t kind to us) The location is just a short bus ride out of Brighton centre with the bus stop just one minute walk away and buses every 15 minutes. Not forgetting the bonus of FREE on street parking right outside the property on a very quiet street. Parking can be so expensive in Brighton. Would highly recommend.

I loved the cabin. Very quirky and original. Right up my street. Very peaceful and private. Sitting out in the decked courtyard in the morning sun was a real treat. Great communication and extended local knowledge from the hosts. Will definitely endeavour to return soon for peaceful writing time, runs up the South Downs and the best pizza around (rustico 😋)

We had such a wonderful stay at Little Hawthorn Cottage, we couldn’t recommend it enough. There was sheep and lambs in the fields and it felt truly peaceful and private. The cabin is well equipped with everything you need, we used the kitchen and we’re very happy with the coffee making equipment. We really enjoyed the location, visiting Middle Farm was a local highlight.

Hanna was extremely responsive to our needs and went out of her way to accommodate us. The cabin is lovely and just like the photos. We will definitely return to appreciate it more. Unfortunately we were only there overnight but appreciated the peace and all the amenities. A perfect little spot to stay.

We had the absolute best time at Sunset! The cabin is gorgeous, so well decorated, clean and cosy. The outdoor seating was so lovely, especially as the farm is so quiet and peaceful. We spent most of the time just sitting outside listening to the birds and relaxing. The bed and sofa are comfy, everything works well in the kitchen and the shower is amazing. The outdoor fire is perfect for sitting outside at night and we always had enough firewood. Donna was very friendly and a great host. Would highly recommend for nature lovers and anyone looking for an escape from busy life!

We really enjoyed our stay. Seeing all the stars in a dark sky area is just fantastic and being woken up by blackbirds singing is hard to beat. The old orchard was full of flowers and was just a lovely peaceful place to stay. The beds were comfortable too! We played a few rounds of Jenga and enjoyed not having TV for a change.
