Really enjoyed our weekend away, great communication from the start. Quite and quirky cottage, so peaceful even though it's on a road, this wasn't a problem for us.. The hot tub was amazing.. A great extra to the weekend...☺️☺️

A fabulous place! Peaceful and private. The surroundings were stunning and the accommodation was spacious and very special. The swimming pool, jacuzzi and gym were excellent and very clean and the games room impressive. We had an amazing few days.

Cottage really cosy with a beautiful garden. Very modern kitchen which was very well equipped. Bathrooms also modern and clean . Bedrooms had comfortable beds and lots of storage. Hot tub was a super feature especially after a day of walking. Would definitely recommend.

We had such a lovely stay! The house is beautiful as are the surroundings. The log fires hot tub is a fantastic feature! Clare was always super responsive and flexible with our slightly later check out time. Would 100% recommend staying here.

Absolutely fantastic stay - do not hesitate to book! Tanya was incredibly communicative and welcoming - she even baked treats for our arrival. The cottage was private, cosy, and had everything you could possibly need (including Sky and a great toy box) and we instantly felt at home. The swimming pool facilities were super and timings really flexible, which made things so easy. Feeding and learning about the rare breed sheep with David was a real highlight too! Our five-year-old was in heaven between the trampoline, swings, swimming, visiting the sheep and even getting to walk Bibi the dog - there were a lot tears on departure. The area is full of great things to do, Tanya had some super suggestions in her welcome book and we’d come back in a heartbeat. Highly recommend!

We went to celebrate my Mum’s, niece and my son’s birthdays! We wanted somewhere peaceful and cosy but somewhere that was also a little bit special. I stay away a lot for work in lots of different hotels and I can honestly say it felt like I was staying in a 5* hotel every room had such attention to detail. Little handmade soaps, beautiful books left to read in different locations, antique furniture & the beds were very comfortable spotless throughout! We all left feeling spoilt and had the most wonderful stay. We will definitely be booking again we loved it so so much!!!!! I could not recommend highly enough!!!! Thank you for having us.

The cottage was cosy and welcoming. Every room was tastefully decorated. It was a lovely touch leaving a bottle of prosecco which we enjoyed on our first evening. There were so many beautiful places to visit all within a short distance. We highly recommend spending time here. Julie was a lovely host.

We really enjoyed our stay in Worthing. The house was lovely and a good location for getting into the town as well as a good base for the local area. Natalie was friendly and communicative and we really appreciated the lovely chocolate cake on arrival.

Beautifully decorated cottage with a lovely relaxed aesthetic and cool poster art. Lovely and warm because of the Aga and comfy sofas and beds. Great to have the bridleway beside the cottage for walking up onto the ridge and a fabulous pub, The Bull, for evening meals just a 5 minute drive away in Ditchling.

Booked to stay at Jane’s beautiful cottage for nearly a month, due to a water leak making my home not safe to live in. From the first enquiry, Jane has been amazing, she is so reassuring, friendly, welcoming and proactive. She really helped to ease me in this difficult time. The property is exactly as described on her page and it’s safe to say it is certainly a home from home. It had all the amenities I needed to live as I would at home, the beds were incredibly comfortable, the living room cosy and the garden is gorgeous for when the sun is shining. Plenty of parking for our cars and even more reassurance being behind a private gate too. Even my dog settled into this property quickly and made herself at home! Although I didn’t need them, it was nice to see a selection of local guides, booklets and maps in the cottage for those not familiar with the area. I can’t recommend Jane and her cottage enough, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this place to stay to anyone visiting the area!

We recently stayed at this lovely cottage from December 29th to January 1st, and we can’t recommend it highly enough! The cottage was well-maintained, super cosy, and felt like a perfect little escape. Here are some of the highlights: Location The cottage is right on the edge of the South Downs, and waking up to those fantastic views every morning was such a treat. It’s also conveniently close to Newhaven for shopping, with reliable and frequent public transport options. We rented a car for part of our stay, and while parking near the cottage can be a bit tight for larger vehicles (as the listing clearly mentions), it wasn’t a major issue for us. One of the things we loved most was the tranquillity—you could hear nothing at night, which was such a refreshing change. If you’re visiting in winter, don’t forget your boots for those beautiful South Downs walks! The Property The cottage was in great condition and very well-equipped—it had everything we needed and then some. Since we visit

The cottage was a real home from home. Really important for us as we had to stay for two months whilst work was being done on our house. It was warm (essential in January and February), cosy, comfortable and extremely well equipped. John and Jane were thoughtful and helpful. After a very stressful few months we were able to relax and enjoy our extended holiday.

Such a lovely little cottage with beautiful surroundings. Great access to lewes and a short drive from Brighton. Also the farm shop next door has a great selection of pies and local produce!

Our third stay and just as wonderful as those prior! An idyllic property and area. Always pristine with a wonderfully large/pretty/safe garden for our two dogs. The area is beautifully peaceful and has some fabulous local walks, and it’s well placed for travelling to various nearby towns and beaches. A perfect trip for a change of scenery and some much needed downtime. Looking forward to our fourth trip later in the year!

Thank you Sandra for a wonderful stay. We had the most peaceful weekend at your beautiful cottage, what a treat to see the Spring lambs in the field opposite! We loved the hottub and the garden space especially, and the very quick wander to the local village shops and pubs.

We had a lovely overnight stay in The Hayloft. We were going to an event at The Knepp Estate and the accommodation is ideally located a short walk away. The Hayloft was beautifully furnished, clean and warm and Penny was very communicative to ensure our arrival was smooth. Would definitely recommend!

Our second time staying at Jenny's cottage which is immaculately presented and has everything you could want for a cosy stay! On both occasions we were able to park right outside the cottage which was super convenient. We're also big fans of the local Italian restaurant Mamma Mia, as well as the record store Slipped Discs!

We had a lovely time staying in the Bulls Box. it had everything we needed and was a beautiful location. We will definitely stay again if we in the area.

The cottage was lovely, spacious, well furnished, well equipped and was spotlessly clean. Our host Charlie had put a lot of thought in to ensuring our stay was really comfortable. There were so many nice touches around the properrty there are too many to mention! The welcome pack and toiletries were lovely whilst the dog bowls, dog treats, dog toys and dog bed were a nice touch. The railway line is very close to the accommodation but we got use to the noise of the passing trains quite quickly and it wasn't too much of an issue for us. The views towards the South Downs were stunning and there are plenty of easily accessible footpaths right on your doorstep. The Jolly Sportmans pub is only a short drive away and they do lovely food and is well worth a visit. Lewes is also close by for food stores and it has some lovely eateries and bakeries. We would happily recommend the cottage and look forward to returning for another stay in the future.

Perfect location close to all the best bits of Lewes. Really nicely laid out with quality fittings & thoughtful design. Supremely comfortable beds & high quality bedding. Kitchen comprehensively equipped. Secure handy parking. Those used to a lot of space may find the bedrooms a bit small but overall a very comfortable place to stay.
