House vacation rentals in Breckland District

This was the second time we have stayed as a family at Graham's house when visiting Suffolk, and it was just as comfortable and welcoming as the first time. Graham was a great host who was able to accommodate our requested dates and offered a flexible check-in. The house is really well equipped and clean and in a lovely location with a lot of character. The beds are very comfy too, and we really valued the treats on arrival to toast the New Year - thank you so much - would highly recommend staying here!

We stayed at The Burrow for a big family Christmas get together. The property is unique and full of character and we are all going home with amazing lifelong memories of the time we spent there. Helen's thoughtful personal touches made it feel really special and put us at ease straight away such as age appropriate toys and books left on the children's beds and lovely home made mince pies. The outbuildings were perfect for our older family members and were beautifully kept and well equipped. Thank you Helen so much for letting us share your beautiful home!

Perfect accommodation for the Family. Busy but not rushed. Swimming pool a fantastic bonus. Grandchildren and myself swam every day. Other adults enjoyed the sauna as well. Didn't travel far from our home to get there but had such a brilliant time it could have been anywhere. Dogs loved the garden and beach. Was perfect for what we needed park was nice and peaceful this time of year, caravan was lovely and clean, kitchen well stocked up with utensils pans etc there’s a onsite restaurant which is good reasonably priced food and drinks. Passes for park are £12 per person a week which you purchase extra as it’s a private listing , we used caravan while our house was being renovated so perfect local base for us, we have 2 dogs so this caravan is nicely placed out of main area so it’s peaceful no noise from people or cars going past to get home after entertainment etc, Definitely recommend to anyone we had no issues while we stayed so didn’t need to contact owner Thank you for letting us stay at your home

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The house was thoughtfully set up, making it perfect for our needs. The large, well-equipped kitchen had all the necessary utensils, allowing us to prepare delicious family meals with ease. The dining area and living room were spacious and comfortable, providing a great space for everyone to relax together. Communication with Luke was exceptional. He was highly professional and handled an unexpected mishap on our part with understanding and grace. Wonderful house in great location. Dunwich and surrounding area is one of our favourite places and this is a perfect house. Very close to the great Ship pub and the sea. House beautifully laid out and decorated. Great to have the two sitting rooms. Lots of room for eight of us. Kitchen really well equipped and lovely to eat in. Views from top front bedrooms over the marches to the sea really wonderful - saw deer and kestrel every day. Great garden for summertime- a bit cold in January! Certainly one of the best Airbnb’s we have stayed in

We loved our stay at Kristel’s place. It’s all tastefully decorated, everything looked brand new. The house is very comfortable and felt very homely. We loved being close to everything in Wells but at the same time tucked away a little making the surroundings very peaceful. Welcome pack and toiletries are a very nice touch. Very convenient to have private parking space as well. Kristel was very helpful and quickly responded to any questions we’ve had.

We stayed at The Old Bakery for a family get together over the Christmas week, there were 8 adults. Frances was really accommodating and put in an extra fridge for us, which was really useful. The cottage was always cosy and warm with enough firewood for us to use the wood burner every evening which gave it an extra festive and warm vibe. Always hot water in baths and showers. Fantastic amount of pots and pans to cook for 8 - including our Christmas lunch with all the trimmings. Lovely quiet location so a real getaway! The Old Bakery is a really warm and friendly cottage, we had a very happy time!

Parva House is a lovely place to stay. The communication on what was available was excellent.

Our 4th stay here and loved it once again! Perfect location to enjoy this incredible part of the country. House is great as always and Sophie was on hand to help when needed. Already booked to come back later this year!

Cannot recommend this place highly enough. Marcus ensured we were very well informed before arrival providing a guest book with comprehensive information and recommendations. We were greeted with bottles of wine & the house was very warm & music sound system set up. The barn is absolutely beautiful & immaculate. It is in a very remote area but this suited us all as we were happy to stay in and enjoy it. The log burner, games room & hot tub were added bonuses. A big thank you to Marcus for a truly amazing weekend break away with good friends ❤️

Catherine’s place is lovely! It was the perfect cosy place for a group of us to hang out on a cold January weekend. It has everything you need, the whole house is very well equipped for small kids and adults alike.

Claire was a great host . The welcome basket was very kind and much appreciated. We know the area , it was lovely to be able to walk into the town from the property . Perfectly placed to visit attractions in the surrounding area . Comfortable and relaxing few days away with wonderful friends . Thank you .

This is the 2nd time we have stayed at Little Lodge as it is perfect for us and our dog; clean and comfortable with off street parking and a garden. It has everything we need and ideally located in a quiet road close to all the amenities the town of Sheringham has to offer. Within easy driving distance to other beaches and towns along the north Norfolk coast Little Lodge would always be our first choice to stay. Thank you Rachel, we look forward to visiting again in 2025.

Anne’s place is the perfect home from home, and we felt welcome from the moment we arrived. You have everything you need and more to be fair. Hot tub in the garden, we travelled with our dog and she had a secure garden area at the rear. Highly recommend this house for those looking to have a relaxing place to stay.

We had a great time celebrating my 60th birthday with all my family. Well equipped kitchen. Although my son who is a chef needed kitchen scales We arrived around 5pm but we completely missed the turning as very dark every where Would have been better if the property was better lit up outside. My was our only issue. About from that we had the most amazing time and great hosts. Would definitely come again

Property is a mixture of architectural and decorative styles with an interesting, quirky character. Good heating and overall facilities with well-equipped kitchen. Only downside with the kitchen was that the oven hadn’t been completely cleaned of grease after previous residents. There are two en-suite bathrooms but no downstairs toilet, so the 3rd bedroom guest will have to use one of the en-suites. Towels and bedding were clean and comfortable. Christmas trees were a nice, seasonal touch. There is a general stores and good cafe just 20m away and an excellent pub/restaurant around the corner. Parking is on-street but not difficult to find a space nearby. There are good walks around the minor roads, farmland and village common nearby. The castle can be accessed with a key obtainable from the stores. We enjoyed our stay.

We really enjoyed our stay in Philippa's beautiful home. We felt comfortable at once, and had a lovely relaxing weekend. Everything we needed was either there, or in close proximity. Communication was fab, and the place ready to find. Having a park just opposite was great for the kids too!! A little bonus we hadn't expected, was that on a clear night, even the milky way was visable and we saw a few shooting stars. All together, it made for a really memorable special birthday! Thanks!

Joe's place was easy to find, had plenty of parking for our 4 cars, it was a very cosy quirky house lots of toys and games for the children, plenty of beds, lovely big kitchen and oven to cook our Christmas dinner in. It had a nice piano which the adults played for the children, they had put up Christmas decorations for us which was a magical touch for us, the wood burner was so nice to put on in the cold evenings or after we had been out for a walk. we had a nice dinner a couple of days after Christmas down the pub at the end of the road. The children loved the freedom of the house and garden, they loved walking down to the field to see the chickens in the morning and before it went dark. There very friendly cat kept trying to creep in through the cat flap. It wasn't far from Norwhich which we went to a few times, we drove to Theford Forest and did a Elf walk and the Gruffalo walk which the children loved. All in all it was a wonderful family Christmas get away. Thank you Joe and Fam.
