Absolutely loved our stay at Hugo Filipe's BnB! The apartment was spotless, warm and stylish - truly a home away from home. The surrounding gardens were a peaceful oasis, perfect for relaxing with a morning coffee or winding down in the evening. Hugo was an exceptional host: warm, attentive, and always happy to help with anything we needed. His kindness made our stay even more special. Amazing place with a breathtaking view on the ocean, close to São Mateus (walkable) and very close to the city. Pristine new residence with all you need to have a great stay! Would definitely rent again!!!

Great apartment in an excellent location. Close to beach, supermarket, bar, cafe and on the bus line. Very quiet area. Our hosts were very gracious and friendly. Their hospitality and generosity exceeded our expectations to ensure that we were comfortable and that our stay on the island was enjoyable. Would most definitely recommend this apartment

This perfectly placed Airbnb offers a truly unique experience, especially if you happen to catch some dramatic coastal weather! We had a front-row seat to incredible 15-foot waves, strong winds, and pelting rain, all while staying toasty and peaceful inside thanks to a fantastic picture window. It was mesmerizing to watch. As a bonus, when the weather finally broke on our last day, we were treated to beautiful rainbows and even saw whales! Pro Tip: When the sun does shine, definitely venture out! The neighborhood has a local market and a few restaurants where you can savor the fresh ocean bounty. This location is ideal for both cozy storm-watching and I am sure enjoys the coastal summer charm when the weather is fair.
