Villa vacation rentals in Azores

Beautiful place and very spacious house with many amenities. The host was extremely kind and communicative. We were informed in advance about certain shortcomings and were offered a discount. A nice gesture was the champagne and chocolates upon arrival. The only downside might have been the noticeable humidity, although this is quite understandable given the conditions and location. For this reason, the pizza oven took a long time to heat up, as the moisture had to evaporate. During the period we stayed (late December to early January), it was quite windy, rainy, and foggy, so it’s worth considering this in your plans.

We had an amazing time here. The space was very nice and we would love to come back some day!

Proactive, communicative, and super organized hosts. They’ve thought of all the details and even welcomed us with some treats from the island. Clean space. Their recommendations were helpful. Great location - walking distance to the vineyards. Couldn’t be happier with this stay!

Rui personally welcomed us despite our late arrival at 10 p.m. and gave us the most detailed overview and tips about the island that I’ve ever received at any accommodation. Many thanks for the effort! The accommodation itself was fantastic. It was a bit chilly during our stay, so the stove was perfect for warming up and getting cozy in the evenings. A small heads-up for future guests: if there’s a strong storm (as was the case during our visit), smoke from the stove might be pushed back into the house. Just something to be mindful of. But honestly, that was the only minor issue — otherwise, this was one of the nicest places we’ve ever stayed at, and for a truly fair price.

Wow. Just...wow. A beautiful, home in an absolutely stunning setting. Everything felt new and clean with modern but inviting architecture. The view from the kitchen/living room/balcony is gorgeous and peaceful. The pool is lovely and just steps away. The place was immaculate and Cleide, who manages the property, is absolutely lovely and extremely helpful. The house is a few minutes walk or drive to natural pools, outdoor natural pools, and a small but very cute market for groceries. Every morning, Cleide left us a box of fresh pastries and cheese and meat for breakfast. We loved this property and would highly recommend it to anyone who wants to take a deep breath and maybe do some dolphin and whale watching :)

We had a wonderful stay. The hosts were accommodating and always available. It's just a shame we couldn't use the pool because of the weather. Thank you for the quick arrangements, we'd love to come back :)

Great accomodation on the north side of the S. Miguel. Susana an Jorge are very kind and welcoming hosts with a lot of tips and ideas for activities. However be warn. The neighborhood's animals can get quite noisy during the night. :D Nothing disturbing tho, just funny. :D

Very, very great house, no longer brand new and therefore some signs of age, but nothing serious. Very well equiped kitchen. The owner Ana was personally on site when we arrived. She had bought plenty of fresh food and cooked a very good soup for our arrival in the evening. Ana is a wonderful hostess, we felt immediately welcome. She showed us all the things we needed to know in the house. Since it was relatively cool and windy in the Azores during our stay, we particularly appreciated the fireplace in the house. There was also plenty of wood. The town of Mosteiros is very nice and the surf in the cliffs right in front of the house is exceptional and can be watched from the couch. A very good local restaurant with excellent fish is in walking distance.

Our vacation with Grandma and Grandpa was a great experience on the island of Pico and in the wonderful house of James. The house with pool was our favorite in the selection, so there is something for everyone. View, swimming area, pool, cozy retreats in the house and in front of it. It has everything you want. Only the weather cannot be influenced and therefore we still have an account to settle with Montana de Pico. That's why we'll come back and, if possible, definitely to James'.

We had a great stay here. The house is super cozy and the garden with the terrace just perfect. We spent our time there for breakfast. The barbecue place us great, too. The village is very calm and good for relaxing. We would definetly come back. Thank you also for the welcoming cake!

Have a great stay. The home has its own vibe. It has a lot of space. The kitchen is well-equipped. There are 4 comfortable bedrooms, but if there are more than 8 people, they can also fit. You can stay in the living room, you can spend time in the kitchen, you can in the garden. Recommended!!!

This apartment is nicely located near beaches and a short drive to the downtown center (20/25 min to PDL). It’s close the town square which has cute bakeries and a delicious chocolate shop. Kitchen was very clean with all new appliances. We cooked breakfast each day which was great. I visited in first week of January, and there’s not as much to do immediately in the area in bad weather; however the nature and beaches were beautiful. Many things like surfing and e-bike tour of Sete Ciudades were cancelled bc of weather. We enjoyed Sao Miguel, especially the restaurants (lourve, ta gente). New Years in PDL was wonderful. Please note it does get cold in January in the house in the main kitchen/living room so I suggest wearing layers. There were heaters in each bedroom (not in common rooms), and I triple layered blankets in the bedroom which added warmth. Mattresses are very firm… The neighborhood is super cute…would be cool to see in summer.

We were very satisfied with our accommodation. The flexible check-in and check-out were greatly appreciated. The host responded very quickly and clearly. On the downside: the common areas aren't heated, so they could be colder depending on the outside temperature. We can hear cars on the street outside from the bedrooms. The mattresses are relatively hard, and the car gate is very slow to open. But that wouldn't stop us from returning to the same place. The location is great. A car is highly recommended for getting around and to the nearby supermarket.

...Very pleased with Vila Ana....beautiful home with a great kitchen. Location is perfect with a cafe and small grocery store next door. More than met our expectations. Clean and roomy common areas. Everything you could want or need. Felt like a home. Outdoor area is beautiful and the convenience of having a driveway and parking area makes a big difference. This property is in a very nice area and is thoughtfully taken care of and equipped. I would only recommend one thing.....to add an American style drip coffee maker for those who don't know how to work a French press. Otherwise, it's one of the nicest places I have stayed at....in all my travels.

We had such a lovely family vacation staying in Maria's place! It was well suited for 7 adults with plenty of room to spread out and relax. The host is very easy to contact and good follow up on any questions that we had during our stay. Check in and check out were also very easy. We loved lounging on the terrace and walking along the shore. We enjoyed many breakfasts together in her well equipped kitchen before venturing out and exploring for the day. Coming home at night, we looked forward to building a cozy fire in the living room while sharing our favorite memories from the day. If returning to Sao Miguel, we'd love to stay at Maria's place again! Obrigada!

We really enjoyed our stay. The house was comfortable only wish the weather was warmer to enjoy the pool. Location was good to visit all the popular sites.

Excellent house for our extended family group of 8. The pool is not heated so it’s a bit cold, but the backyard is very peaceful and the house is well equipped and a great home base to explore the island. It’s right outside Ponta Delgada and easy to pop into town. Highly recommend.

Vitamin Sea Azores was just perfect! It was beautiful, well kept, fully stocked with brand new appliances, and exceptionally clean. We rented out both top and bottom apartments, for the five of us, with lots of rooms and space to spare. The pool is well maintained with gorgeous views overlooking the countryside and ocean. Bed sheets were first class! Our host Britanny was also first class as she had everything we needed to make us feel right at home, and checked up on us to see if we needed anything else. Location was also great because it was just a short car ride to downtown Horta with so many great restaurants as well as other beautiful places in island of Faial. We also took the ferry over to the island of Pico, for a day tour, which was very convenient. We will definitely go back and return to such a natural and relaxing place.

Beautiful house, the sea view is breathtaking and the whole house is very spacious. Big kitchen and a barbecue in the pool area - my family really enjoyed staying in this house, highly recommend!

Our host Tiago answered his phone every time I called. He was helpful with directions and assisted with all we needed or requested immediately. Very responsive and kind. We loved the layout of the home. Easy access in the door, the bedroom and bathroom walkin shower for very good for elderly people. All the rest including the awesome pool and view was great for the rest. We had 8 persons and we hope to come back again.
