Cost Cabin Comforts! Wow, just wow… we were blown away by this lovely little cabin in a picturesque location. We spent 2 nights here after getting engaged in St Andrews and Kate went above and beyond to make our stay feel so special. We couldn’t recommend this highly enough and we will be sure to plan another visit to Kate’s other accommodation in St Andrews soon! Best of luck in your retirement and thanks again. Jack and Lauren

Our third time staying in the Kestrel lodges. We had previously stayed in lodge 3 but we booked lodge 2 this time. The lodge is beautiful and well equipped with everything you need for a long weekend visit. The hot tub is brilliant and the space is so comfortable we felt right at home. Looking at the stars while in the hot tub is so magical. Very dog friendly lodge provided biscuits, bowl and blanket for our pup. There are lots of walks in nearby our favourite place to go is Kirroughtree forest. Newton Stewart is fairly quiet but plenty of wee shops and cafes with a couple of pubs and restaurants in a mile of the lodge. Very relaxing break for us. We will definitely be back soon for our 4th visit!

This is a gorgeous lodge to book. It is perfect for 2 couples to stay overnight with a separate lodge for each. The fire hut is a great place to relax and stay warm. The games room is fun. The hosts were lovely and very accommodating with great communication. The rooms were stunning and clean. There are massage chairs in each lodge which were amazing. The lodges are well equipped, there was an air fryer and coffee machine and Bluetooth speaker. I would highly recommend this place and would love to rebook in the future.

We had an amazing time at Arranview. The accommodation was perfect and had everything we could possibly need. The cafe on sight was excellent and well priced. The lakes and scenery on sight were beautiful and very nice to walk around. Well worth the money, will definitely be back!

Tracy is quick to reply if you have any queries and phil showed us how to use the log burner and hot tub. lovely walks nearby and amazing views from the cabin (and hot tub)! our dog loved it too. thanks for a great stay. would definitely come again.

Rosemarie and Jim were fantastic hosts and Bizzyberry Lodge was a true home from home for us during or stay. Everything is as listed. Very clean and it had all the amenities as listed. It was a great place for our family vacation and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for comfortable stay. The property is well maintained and Jim and Rosie are very friendly and personable. The location is good and well situated if you’re looking for a central base. We were able to travel to Edinburgh, St. Andrews, Falkirk, Stirling, Glencoe and the Borders on day trips. We were looking for a quiet family getaway. Andrea was amazing! She furnished the kitchen with a complete breakfast, provided snacks and even provided marshmallows for roasting. We stayed during Christmas and Andrea had the place decorated with Christmas decorations and even gave our grand daughter several wrapped gifts. We were overwhelmed with Andrea’s hospitality and hope to visit again in the future!

Really lovely, cosy cabin. Large bed space and fully kitted out kitchen. Easy to use and accessible. Definitely plan on staying again.

Great cabin in beautiful grounds. It had everything we needed, an amazing shower, a great log burner with some logs available, everything we needed in the kitchen, comfortable beds and great outdoor areas to relax in. Hosts were warm, welcoming, very helpful and responsive to needs. Would definitely recommend!

The cabin was wonderful, very cosy and private. The wood stove worked great and kept us warm during the night. the garden is very spacious and the cabin is private away from the big house. Sonia was a great host and made sure we had everything we needed. The sauna is a great extra as well!

This was our second weekend getaway and it was again, lovely and perfect. Lots of space to park, cosy inside and a great kitchen stepup. The air fryer was a lovely touch. The use of the hot tub was amazing, bathrobes and towels included and we watched the sunset and an incredible view of the stars. The first night was blowing an almighty gale but we were as snug as a bug in a rug. It was so quiet and so good for us to chill and relax. Thank you Catherine for stoking the fires.

Fantastic place, we stayed and the weather was incredibly rainy and windy and it was still a great weekend. The place is brilliant, our Golden loved it too - would definitely stay again!

Sally’s place is an absolute haven in a beautiful setting. The chalet is cosy, comfortable, well equipped and beautifully decorated to a very high standard. View of the beach was like looking at a painting and it is very quiet. There are only a few other chalets nearby but it felt very private and peaceful and when we did see people they were very friendly. So much wildlife in Sally’s garden and nearby. Our daughter loved the rabbits and birds. We even saw red deer and lots of pheasants in the garden too. Sally was excellent for providing information and recommendations and she put up some lovely Halloween decorations and left some delicious provisions for us. The local shop is excellent - friendly patrons and well stocked and the food at the Tigh an Truish pub is excellent. So many lovely walks and places to explore and most of the time we didn’t see any other people. Really gorgeous place to stay and location. Amazing sky and we even saw the Milky Way. Loved the beach metres away.

We had a fantastic stay at Noir Nook. The interior was beautifully decorated, cosy, with attention to detail and we felt right at home. We travelled into Edinburgh one day from the Airbnb, which was around an hour way and an easy drive. We would also recommend fish and chips from The Fryery nearby in Biggar. Massive thank you to Tamika for a lovely stay!

What a beautiful secluded spot! It’s was a pleasure staying in this gorgeous place. All clean, tidy and so specious! Amazing outside area. Very friendly hosts. Such beautiful area too, so many possibilities for walks and wander. We’d love to come back and stay a little bit longer. Thank you so much!

We loved staying at the lodge , it was beautifully decorated . A welcome basket was waiting on us and the place was lovely and warm on a cold new year stay 😊 Caroline communicated everything excellently and we hope to back again this year 🥰

Had a great peaceful stay at Highside Farm after a long trek. It was clean, had all amenities, and very welcoming. Sadly, we couldn’t do the barbecue we had planned due to high winds. Otherwise, we enjoyed the stay and the scenery.

First time staying at the Cabin. It was modern stylish and very clean. I slept in the most comfortable bed ever and had a real power shower in the bathroom. The little additions such as milk and orange juice in the fridge made a big difference. As it was Christmas week the hosts had laid out little Christmas decorations which gave it a real festive feel. I highly recommend the Cabin.

Gorgeous cabin, gorgeous location. Very peaceful and just the ticket for a quiet getaway. The cabin is very cosy and the stove heats up so nicely, you wouldn’t think it was winter outside. Our dog was very chilled and the enclosed space around the cabin was ideal for him to pad around. We didn’t want for anything as the place is well equipped and the hot tub is a luxurious addition. Lydie is lovely and communicative and delivery of additional logs was another super service. Would love to come back and experience beautiful Loch Awe in the summer too. 🙏
