Cabin vacation rentals in Ayrshire

Great place and beautiful walks around. Log cabin was spotless and really nice to relax in the hot tub after a long walk. staff very friendly and responsive the only downside beeing the bed.... not comfortable and the pillows are really hard. we've asked for a matress topper and the staff was prompt providing it but unfortunately didn't made much difference. 10 out of 10 for the staff and the way the manage the holiday park! 100% recommend visiting Galloway Smokehouse and red deer range

This is a gorgeous lodge to book. It is perfect for 2 couples to stay overnight with a separate lodge for each. The fire hut is a great place to relax and stay warm. The games room is fun. The hosts were lovely and very accommodating with great communication. The rooms were stunning and clean. There are massage chairs in each lodge which were amazing. The lodges are well equipped, there was an air fryer and coffee machine and Bluetooth speaker. I would highly recommend this place and would love to rebook in the future.

We had an amazing time at Arranview. The accommodation was perfect and had everything we could possibly need. The cafe on sight was excellent and well priced. The lakes and scenery on sight were beautiful and very nice to walk around. Well worth the money, will definitely be back!

We had such a wonderful 3 night stay. From the beautiful sunrise countryside and ocean views on a morning, to the stunning starry night skies in the hot tub on an evening. Phil was very friendly and helpful with showing us around. Thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the cabin. It was extremely clean when we arrived and the views were beautiful. Very quiet and peaceful and near to the river to go for walks. The hot tub was lovely as well.

This place is a hidden gem. Rosie and Jim are excellent hosts, they made our stay incredible and we had the most wonderful new year. The house is better than in pictures, the surrounding fields and beautiful landscapes are truly incredible. We had a great stay and would love to come back!

We booked to come back after our last visit. Would have booked again as we love the communal space for having a few beers and playing traitors. Then the pool and the hot tub are great for break out spaces for different family members to catch up. We haven’t booked next year as my granddaughter will need her own room so won’t fit our party size.

Beautiful place, calm and well equipped. Perfect for a weekend away especially with children. I stayed here with a toddler and a baby on my own and it worked very well

Great cabin in beautiful grounds. It had everything we needed, an amazing shower, a great log burner with some logs available, everything we needed in the kitchen, comfortable beds and great outdoor areas to relax in. Hosts were warm, welcoming, very helpful and responsive to needs. Would definitely recommend!

The cabin was wonderful, very cosy and private. The wood stove worked great and kept us warm during the night. the garden is very spacious and the cabin is private away from the big house. Sonia was a great host and made sure we had everything we needed. The sauna is a great extra as well!

Had a fantastic few days stay in this beautiful caravan. Lindsay was very responsive to our questions and all the little things she left for us was just nice. Will definitely recommend this place to anyone. Brilliant host xx

This was our second weekend getaway and it was again, lovely and perfect. Lots of space to park, cosy inside and a great kitchen stepup. The air fryer was a lovely touch. The use of the hot tub was amazing, bathrobes and towels included and we watched the sunset and an incredible view of the stars. The first night was blowing an almighty gale but we were as snug as a bug in a rug. It was so quiet and so good for us to chill and relax. Thank you Catherine for stoking the fires.

aw I didn't want to come home.. Patrick was speedy at replying and sent me great instructions. Hot tub was ready for arrival, lodge was nice and cosy and had everything needed including some little extras that didnt go un-noticed. Bed/bedding feels like sleeping on a big marshmallow. A big floor squeegee to leave in the wet room would be fab as took a while to dry but apart from that I can't think of anything else to suggest. Local shop had essentials but bigger shops are an hour away so take what you need. 5min walk to the shoreline over the wee bridge. So quiet and peaceful and I'd say the best positioned cabin in the area :)

From the moment we booked until we sadly had to leave, Robbie was an outstanding host, nothing was too much trouble, even during the big storm,Robbie was amazing,this beautiful magical place has to be my utmost favourite place in the world, and I have travelled to many beautiful places, but boy oh boy every corner you turn on the winding roads is a different scenery of this wonderful land. down to the lochs,pucks glen, glencoe 3 sisters, just drive and you will see that every penny spent on the lodge is worth its weight in gold. Sally’s place is an absolute haven in a beautiful setting. The chalet is cosy, comfortable, well equipped and beautifully decorated to a very high standard. View of the beach was like looking at a painting and it is very quiet. There are only a few other chalets nearby but it felt very private and peaceful and when we did see people they were very friendly. So much wildlife in Sally’s garden and nearby. Our daughter loved the rabbits and birds. We even saw red deer and lots of pheasants in the garden too. Sally was excellent for providing information and recommendations and she put up some lovely Halloween decorations and left some delicious provisions for us. The local shop is excellent - friendly patrons and well stocked and the food at the Tigh an Truish pub is excellent. So many lovely walks and places to explore and most of the time we didn’t see any other people. Really gorgeous place to stay and location. Amazing sky and we even saw the Milky Way. Loved the beach metres away.

We had a lovely stay! The little house is beautiful with lovely attention to detail. Very comfortable, warm and the large window is so beautiful to wake up to. Not much going on in Broughton but we went for some quiet time so it was perfect.

A beautiful wee slice of quiet heaven tucked away in the trees. The cabin was spotless and so cosy, especially with the heating on for us arriving. The night sky was the cherry on top of the cake - couldn’t believe how many stars we could see!

Had a lovely stay in the cabin. It is beautifully presented, everything you need and very cosy with a lovely view in well maintained surroundings. We stayed during the recent red weather warning and Caroline checked in to make sure we were okay - we were very appreciative of the amazing welcome basket given the sudden closure of shops due to the weather event. We would definitely stay again.

A lovely cosy cabin that was spotlessly clean in fact it appeared to be brand new. We were visiting family locally so only really needed an overnight bed and spent little time there. However we were there during a very cold snap and the cabin was toasty warm with piping hot water. Plenty of breakfast treats were available which was a nice touch.

Me and my family had such a wonderful stay at Lidies Cabin for the new year! The cabin it's self was beautiful presented, clean and well stocked kitchen! The wood burner was perfect for keeping us warm at this time of year and plenty of added warm blankets, hot water bottles! The children especially enjoyed the hot tub each evening! Lovely community onsite bar with friendly locals. Little quaint village shop 2 minute walk was also a great for us to use rather than driving back down to the nearest village! My wife enjoyed swims in the loch, and for a peaceful holiday will definitely be back! Lovely forest walks nearby! Great 4G as well as an unexpected bonus! Thanks all! 🤩

The house was very cosy, clean, and functional. We were all so sad to go after our trip, everything was perfect and we truly felt at home. The hosts were very kind from the start and very transparent and honest about what features the house did and did not have. We all talked about booking this place again in the future, would strongly recommend to any family or group of friends!!
