This was a last minute decision as I needed to get down to Glasgow for an early morning business meeting. My wife am I were really impressed and had a great overnight stay at Apartnest. Stephanie was very attentive. The standard of decor is to a superb standard. I'd definitely recommend Apartnest. Finally I recommend anyone staying to check out the wee snug. A great place to relax and watch TV. I'll absolutely look to book again!

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Motherby House and am so grateful to the hosts, Jacquie and David, for making me feel so welcome. They’re both kind and engaging—and they gave me some great recommendations for places to eat and visit in the area. Breakfast was delicious and Jacquie kindly made me a tasty packed lunch for my hike! I’d be very happy to stay here again.

We were hosted with the most friendly and amiable manner. The rooms were perfectly well equipped and the bathroom was clean and had everything required. Our host and his girlfriend were around for a chat and some friendly advice and recommendations for visiting Belfast. This airBnb is highly recommendable!

I visited Glasgow for one night to attend a gig and Julia and Scott’s place was perfect for what I needed - essentially a comfortable place to sleep within walking distance of the venue and somewhere to grab dinner. I was also treated to a superb cooked breakfast before heading off in the morning.

Had a lovely stay here with some friends. Very relaxing place with good amenities. Great location as not too far from Glasgow but still feels like a getaway. We were able to get the bus to Kippen for some great food and could also walk into Buchlyvie. Rachel was really helpful and quick to reply. Rooms were very spacious with en-suites.

Best place we have ever stayed!! Just wow!! Words on a review do not do this place justice! We went just two women walking in the lakes with our Labrador and felt so safe and well looked after here it made us feel so at home! After having an accident to the head on one of my walks on the first day the staff were so accommodating and checked in on us and ensured we were all ok going above and beyond. beautiful clean tidy and the bed was so comfy! Anything you needed for the stay was provided. The shower was so luxurious. Was even provided doggy treats and food mat, doggy paw towels in the porch, and dogs very welcome in the beautiful bistro for all meals! The food at the bistro! We have never tasted such amazing food. Location is perfect for all your needs in the lakes! And lastly I want to thank THE YAN and all their staff you can tell every single one puts their wholehearted effort into it and it shows through and through to anyone staying here! 5***’s from us and we will be back.

We had an absolutely wonderful experience staying here! The space was spotless, beautifully decorated, and exactly as described in the listing. The bed was super comfortable, and all the amenities were thoughtfully provided. The hosts were incredibly kind, responsive, and made check-in a breeze. The location was perfect — close to everything yet quiet and peaceful. I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area and would love to stay here again. This place was a fabulous find, so close to the centre of beautiful Hawkshead and everything the village has to offer. Thank you Jane for letting me into the property earlier than check in time....it meant I was able to get to a wedding on time without having to get ready in a public loo 😂 very greatful for that and especially greatful to your fabulous cleaning team who worked even harder to make that happen for me. The breakfast looked as though it would have been lovely, but the bed was so comfy that we slept right through the delivery 😂 Truly wish I'd booked another night and would definitely stay again. We had a late cancellation on another property due to flooding. We booked this property last minute and couldn’t have been happier. Great location, loads of restaurants and pubs. Graham was super responsive and helpful. Parking was a bonus. Only very minor downside was the double bed which wasn’t very comfortable but fine for a short stay. Would definitely stay again.

Stuart's place is a real home from home! We were welcomed personally on arrival by Paul as Stuart had nipped out. Booking was very straightforward, Stuart responds very quickly and is very approachable. Our room was lovely, cosy and a lot of thought had gone into guest comfort. Both our room and the ensuite were immaculately clean. The bed was so, so comfortable, we slept extremely well which is not always the norm in a "strange" bed. Ravenswood is very easy to find with excellent off street parking. It is also within walking distance of the town. We have been coming over to Stirling since 2018, we love the area, there is so much to do and do many wonderful sights and restaurants. We would have no hesitation in recommending Stuart's place and we definitely look forward to a return visit.

My son and I had a glorious break at Bank Ground Farm. The weather was typically Cumbrian, but we felt so at home this just enforced a much needed rest and down time. We were very comfortable, Jonathon and his staff were so friendly and accommodating, and our fabulous veggie breakfasts were the cherry on the cake. Thankyou so much guys, we'll be back!

You won’t be disappointed. The setting is far enough away from town that you feel calm, but close enough to walk to when you wish. Ideal. Beautiful views from the balcony and nothing but birds to listen to. Hotel was clean and fresh. Menu was interesting and broad. Staff were all efficient and polite. Fantastic

Great stay for two nights, Easy and smooth check-in, the room described clearly like the pictures,expect to share a wonderful living room and kitchen with other guests, breakfast was delicious. The house 20 minuets far from the city center, hosts are very friendly and help me to keep my luggage until my next check in, if you look for clean and quiet places this is the right place, overall it was a good time spending there. They let me to take many pictures for the house and share it in my insta@M4.f.

Absolutely amazing hotel. Room was very clean and had everything we needed. Towels and snacks were changed frequently which was amazing. Swimming pool and jacuzzi were absolutely amazing and free to use for all guests. The area does not have many shops/restaurants but that is not a reason to not stay here!

This truly is a home from home, easy to find and very central, easy parking, a very warm welcome from Rose, extremely clean, comfortable and spacious room, providing a great nights sleep. I would highly recommend this AirBB.

This place is beautiful. The beds are comfortable and the place is clean. The bedrooms are on the 2nd and 3rd floor with a very thin, small staircase. Parking is convenient in front of the building. The location is very remote, with nothing in walking distance and difficult to get to/from the town, which I wish I had known prior to booking. However, we made the most of it and the house itself is beautiful and matches the photos.
