Amazing place to stay. So peaceful and beautiful area. The house is fantastic and hot tub is a great extra to look out over the water and at the stars. Wallace was great and was there as we arrived to show us all we needed to know and made himself available if we needed him. Would absolutely recommend this place to book for anyone looking for a lovely time away!

Gorgeous stay at The old School house. The house had everything we needed for a girls weekend to chill. The place was very clean and Elizabeth was very responsive to any queries or needs we had. Thank you so much, would love to come back.

Lovely property. Very clean and well equipped kitchen. Had a cosy vibe in the communal space but good sized bedrooms for us all to space out. There’s a line in the description about bringing own towels for hot tub. We didn’t but would recommend as the bath towels were a little small for us and as suggested, if using the hot tub you probably want extra towels handy so you’ve always got a dry one. The parking was a little tricky for us as the other house on the same land had 4 cars and it’s one shared parking area so nowhere to turn and a long reverse out a long drive. Other group were nice but you do hear noise on that side of the house so bear in mind it might not feel totally private. These are minor things and just personal preference. Everything was really high quality. Appliances, cooker, shower etc. and nice and clean. Would certainly recommend and return.

Second time staying at Lorna’s place and it was fabulous. It’s private and peaceful, and a home away from home. Lorna was responsive to any communication and the home has everything we needed. Would highly recommend!

“Dunella” is a lovely, easy to find cosy cottage on the Main Street. Lots of on-street parking. We celebrated Christmas here and thoroughly enjoyed it. It was very welcoming, comfortable and well equipped in the kitchen. The games room was good, a bit cold - but to be expected this time of year. Hot tub was a bonus for a few extra pounds. Beds and linen were comfortable and towels also provided. The rooms throughout are very homely and beautifully decorated. It is on the Main Street and does have local pubs and restaurants nearby so noise is to be expected but it wasn't a nuisance. Meg was a very communicative host, and it was lovely to meet her just as we were leaving to thank her and compliment her on her lovely holiday home. Happy Holidays…

Both Bumblebee barn and Hedgehog hollow were lovely, spotlessly clean and really comfortable. Seven adults, two 6 year olds and a dog had loads of space and really enjoyed our time there. Would definitely book again if we are in the area.

We had a lovely time at the house and the host was fabulous! We felt right at home and loved our time here- we hope we will be back! The house was very spacious with plenty space for the whole group. The hot tub and games room was a great perk as well! The whole group commented on how comfortable the beds were, and that made everyone’s trip all the more relaxing. If you have dogs, this place is great with a fully secure back garden.

We stayed as a group of 8 and could not rate our stay high enough! The area was stunning and private, the villa was spacious and comfortable and our host was attentive for the entire duration of the stay. We cannot wait to book our next stay and hope to make it an annual trip! 12 out of 10!

We stayed for 3 nights in February and would highly recommend Diana’s house. On arrival we were warmly greeted by the host who was overseeing the pool and hot tub being maintained for our use. The house is beautifully decorated throughout. The kitchen is well equipped, the showers were lovely and warm, the beds were very comfortable and the location was perfect. Our kids loved chilling in the pool and the hot tub. Great stay and we will definitely book again :)

We had a wonderful weekend staying at Beechwood House! From first making our booking, Nick was helpful and knowledgable in helping to plan our stay with recommendations. He was also very flexible with some changes we needed to make ahead of arrival and provided clear instructions for check in, check out and a “how to” guide for the property. The property itself is exactly as described - the house is equipped with everything you might need for a group getaway, there was a lot of space for the group to spread out and the bedrooms were very comfortable. Would highly recommend Nick and this property for anyone planning a group getaway!!

Spent a lovely time over Christmas... nice walk to the town along a promenade type path (dog loved the pebbled beach). Great views over the water, lovely big dining table for us all to get together for dinner, enough space for us all to do our different things ...and enjoyed a couple of dips in the hot tub at the end of a fun day! Didn't travel too much around the area, but Dunoon itself was nice and took a walk round nearby puck's glen which was worth the visit if you like country walks All in all, great place to stay Thanks Cam

Tommy’s place was a truly remarkable experience. We had a large group of 8 adults and 4 children and the house was spacious enough for all of us as well as still cozy so we could spend time with one another. The house is located within walking distance to the train station, the beautiful Loch as well as other tourist spots. It was also easy to commute to Glasgow, Edinburgh as well as explore Balloch. I would definitely recommend this place for people who want to spend some time exploring Scotland. Thank you Tommy for being a fantastic host!

The Old Nunnery was easy to find. Entry was supposed to be a key code lock but this was broken. We could enter but not lock the door. One phone call and Tom who was looking after the property immediately attended and arranged for a locksmith. A new lock was fitted within a couple of hours which was brilliant. The house is large and provided great accommodation for the family. We were comprised of adults and older teens giving them space to socialise and play games but also space for everyone to watch a film together. Huge kitchen and dining room perfect as we took all our meals together creating a very special Christmas. We were 15 in total and it did not feel crowded.the kitchen has lots of crockery and cutlery and a fantastic bar area. Hot tub steam room and sauna which was greatly enjoyed. There are sone artworks as mentioned in previous reviews which might not be suitable for younger children. The views are stunning and many a morning spent watching the seals. Short drive to shops

Lynn was a great host and we had an amazing stay. Really gorgeous pods and surrounding area is beautiful.

Emma and Rob were fantastic hosts. Their little cottage was perfect for a weekend away. We will 100% be back again!

This place is a hidden gem. Rosie and Jim are excellent hosts, they made our stay incredible and we had the most wonderful new year. The house is better than in pictures, the surrounding fields and beautiful landscapes are truly incredible. We had a great stay and would love to come back!

Really enjoyed 3 nights away here. Just unlucky with weather but this place still made it a very relaxing getaway with the calm mood lighting and the modern look to it. Would 100% come again.

The cabin is a lovely location for a peaceful holiday in the countryside. The views are stunning and the walks around the site are very good. The hot tub was a nice feature, and we used it a few times while we were there.

We recently stayed at this lodge for my mums 60th (7 people). We had to contact Freda for a minor thing but this was resolved quickly. The lodge was immaculate and had so much space. The lodge has great amenities to make you feel right at home. We are looking to book for next year again as it was ideal for our party size and we would like to make use of the outdoor bbq area. The hot tub was fab and the pool table was an added bonus. For our next booking we are going to book an extra night as thoroughly enjoyed this break.
