Vacation rentals with lake access in Ashe County

we drove up for a wedding and happened to be there in the middle of the hurricane. Even though we had no power, we were still able to communicate with Brooke because she walked to the end of her road to get service to message us. If that's not a great host, I don't know what is. Thank you so much for being available even during the worst conditions to help answer questions we had. The Airbnb was beautiful and I even saw a couple deer which made me happy. Definitely recommend this place and we will be going back in better conditions.

Great stay. It was clean, nice kitchen, Smart Tv, can walk to marina. We enjoyed our stay during the week. Would stay here again. Communication with host was great !

Amazing place to stay! Everything was as pictured and described. The waffles were AMAZING! The porch was absolutely beautiful and so was the property and drive there. Ricky was very responsive and explained everything very well. Will definitely book again.

We stayed here and celebrated our Thanksgiving Holiday here. We had a great time and would stay again. Place was safe and clean. Really enjoyed the views and quietness of the place

We loved the beautiful sweeping views and the large dining room table in the main living space. We could actually start a puzzle at one end and still have room to dine. We were delighted with the fireplace in the living area and how easy it was to use. The fireplaces in the downstairs bedrooms were awesome and added to the relaxing vibe. The beds were very comfortable and we loved the memory foam mattresses. The bathrooms were incredibly appointed with jetted tubs in two of them. There could be more seating in the living room area. We had 6 people and there wasn't enough comfortable couches/easy chairs in the living room for us all to sit together to watch a movie, but that was a minor issue. Having the Alexa available to listen to music was a nice feature. The hot tub was clean and hit the spot. I wasn’t a fan of the Blink that was kept on while we were relaxing outside on the deck. The fire pit was very nice. The kitchen was very well appointed. We thoroughly enjoyed our time.

Had two of are six people come stay for one night, and loved it and may plan on booking a trip next year.

A great host with a place to get away and relax. It's close enough to various sites, and it's low-key and relaxing. I enjoyed the fire pit and watching deer run across the fields.

this was our second time in a month we stayed at Nancy's. with all the cool stuff in the area and being close to home this is a great place in the middle of it. let's do a what should you know: bring some slippers or lounge shoes. the floors are hand painted but concrete so your feet will get cold. I was a little worried that it would be a little cold at night but the place is warm and the fireplace almost makes it to warm. driveway. this is the biggest challenge. we brought a BMW adventure bike and the second time a Subaru. no h tackled the terrain but if it is winter and there is snow and ice bring a 4 wheel drive and you will be fine. it is off road for sure but if 321 doesn't bother you then the driveway will be fine. wifi. this is great. I work remote for a cyber security company and I worked all day Friday and the Internet held up fine. we lost power during the snowstorm but it was back on by 4am I was shocked we got it back so quickly. yes we will be back ;-)

My husband and I enjoyed a lovely mid-week getaway at Maria's cabin. It was perfectly located with a short drive to all the hikes we wanted to check out. The house was exactly as described, clean, and very comfortable with great views. It felt very private and special.

The cottage was very comfortable with separate areas for lounging and bedrooms are downstairs for additional privacy. Kitchen was well appointed and it was very very clean. Would highly recommend
