Cabin vacation rentals in Ashe County

This was our favorite place that we stayed in so far in Boone. The drive up to the home Iis BEAUTIFUL and once you get there it’s amazing and plenty of fun games to play at the time. Very relaxing and fun. Will be staying again!

We rented Lara's beautiful home for my daughter's bridesmaids retreat! It was the perfect setting for her and her friends to worship, pray, cook and prepare for my daughter's wedding day! The home is so well decorated - it feels peaceful just walking in the door. Everything needed is there! Lara responds so quickly to questions and is so proactive in reaching out with directions, information and any other needs you have! This was one of the best AirBNB experiences I have ever had!

My boyfriend and I had such a great weekend staying at this cabin! We loved how clean and cozy it was, with everything we needed to feel right at home. The hot tub was definitely one of our favorite parts; perfect for relaxing and watching the stars at night. The porch was a great spot to sit and enjoy the quiet, and the cabin felt private while still being close to town if we needed anything. It was the perfect getaway, and we'd definitely stay here again!

We had a wonderful time at Christy’s cabin. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need. There were plenty of toys and games for our children to play with. The outside fire pit was perfect to watch the sunset by. We had a great time exploring the surrounding area. The view from the cabin deck was gorgeous. Highly recommend!!

Good place right on the New River. The valley is very quiet and secluded with only a few single family homes and vacation cabins scattered up and down the side slopes. Very casual and easy check-in. Kitchen and house very well equipped for lots of cooking and activities and entertainment. Hot tub was great. Very easy and ample space to roam for folks with pets. If you have a very low clearance vehicle like a corvette or something, check on bridge first, but 99% of vehicles will be fine even as crazy as it looks especially after Helene(notably, their bridge was one of the only small private bridges left after Helene that we saw). Want to come back in the summer one day for some tubing, perfect spot for it.

We loved staying at Jeremy’s place! It was so quiet and peaceful with lots of fun things to do for our little boy. The house was so clean and comfortable and the outside area was so much fun! Perfect place to get away and rest and enjoy as a family. We will be back!

Beautiful quiet private cabin in the woods with everything you might need. Stars are absolutely beautiful at night if you go while trees are still dead. Hot tub is in great condition, everything was perfect.

We had a wonderful weekend at Whiskey Woods. The cabin was beautiful and well maintained. Close to Boone and surrounding areas with plenty of area attractions and restaurants. We will definitely book this home again.

What a cozy home with a beautiful view. If you’re looking for somewhere you can just getaway and soak up what nature provides it’s here. 10/10 experience for us and we really hope to visit this home again. The view from the front porch is breath taking, especially when the sun starts to set and the mountains glow. The wild life activity here is also amazing. Every morning and night you can look out side and see deer grazing, birds flying, and chipmunks running around. Just a wonderful experience all together.

Richard's cabin is a sweet and cozy place with plenty of outdoor areas to hang out. The kitchen was fully stocked with all of the cookware we could possibly need. It was very convenient to Boone and Blowing Rock, as well as Grandfather Mountain where we spent most of our time hiking. Plenty of instructions for checking out procedure and Richard was a very responsive host. We will definitely stay here again in the future.

We loved our weekend retreat to Cassidy’s cabin. Host was super responsive to any questions we had. We had a great time snow tubing nearby Hawksnest. We also enjoyed several local dining establishments. It was great to see the community was starting to heal from Hurricane Helene. We loved this location are already looking to go back again this fall/winter! Thank you Cassidy for opening up your home to us.

A perfect place to disconnect from the routine and reconnect with nature, relaxing, charming and peaceful... definitely a place to rest. Exceptional cleanliness and the comfort that the cabin offers is perfect. Wendy and Marck were very attentive and friendly.

A beautiful location that is hidden yet close to everything! The cottage is cozy and rustic with beautiful views and a short trip to in town and hiking spots. Ed was extremely friendly and communicative. Overall a great stay and I highly recommend!

Not our first time staying at one of Kim‘s properties, and it will definitely not be our last. The space provides a perfect respite and it is convenient to downtown West Jefferson.

Our family had a great weekend getaway at this cabin. One of the most well stocked places I’ve stayed at. Plenty of toiletries, cookware, dishes, etc etc. The cabin was very clean at check-in. Easy to use wood-stove, with a wood shed stacked floor to ceiling with tons of wood already cut to use. Host was very responsive. My daughter especially loved the multi player arcade game upstairs. VERY private and secluded location…. Most cabins I’ve stayed at promise privacy and seclusion and end up being very misleading- this one is what it says it is. Plenty of extra blankets if needed, beds were very comfy. Hot tub was enjoyable, grill on the deck worked very well, I have zero complaints. We will probably be booking this place again. If you’re looking for a true getaway with actual privacy and seclusion, this is the place to stay.

Carolyn was very nice to deal with. The pictures are exact. Liked swinging on porches relaxing and listening to creek. Very quiet neighborhood.

Our stay at this cabin was absolutely wonderful! The cabin was clean, comfortable, and beautifully designed, making it the perfect getaway. The views outside were stunning, offering a peaceful and private setting to relax and unwind. Everything was exactly as described, with all the listed amenities available and well-maintained. The location was ideal—secluded enough for privacy yet within a 30-45-minute drive to a variety of activities, including snowboarding, skiing, hiking, dining, and local attractions. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay and would highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a serene and comfortable retreat!

Cheryl has a beautiful place and it is very spot on as described...being right on the New River is great...20 mins from Boone... we loved the house, the location, the closeness to the New River....everybodies dream home is what Cheryl's place is all about...thank you again to the Walker family...

We had a wonderful, early fall, weekend at this beautiful spot. Jason was responsive and informative about all aspects of the property. This tiny home looked exactly as advertised. It was clean and comfortable. The property is a gem! It is secluded and just what we hoped for with wonderful western views of the mountains. We were treated with two lovely sunsets during our stay while enjoying a campfire. The home is in a remote area of the NC mountains but just minutes to Elk Knob State Park and several streams for fishing. We spent Saturday in Todd, fishing on the South Fork of the New River which was about 30 minutes away. We hope to visit again. Really lovely place!

Midge's place offered us the perfect tranquil mountain hideaway for our mini-moon. It's really one of the most unique, charming spaces we've been and reminded us of many European holidays we've taken in France and Switzerland. Also close to mountains for hiking and nearby pretty villages like Blowing Rock and Boone. Thank you Midge!

They were great hosts, extremely proactive and responsive. They gave great instructions and the home looked better in person; photos didn’t do it justice. Check in/out was super easy, I would recommend their Airbnb to anyone! Thank you for letting us use your beautiful home for the weekend!
