House vacation rentals in Ashe County

Marks place was perfect for a ski getaway. Well stocked with everything we needed. Ideally located near Sugar and Beech mountain. The photos did not do it justice, the view was magnificent and the deck space was amazing. Enjoyed peaceful mornings on the deck overlooking the lake.

The home was much more than I expected. My host was super.

If you're looking for views from heaven this is the place! Its breathtaking. Spacious, quiet, and picturesque. House is nestled between neighbors and you'd never know. Wildlife and wilderness meets quaint neighborhood... but at a golf resort. Only downfall is if you dont get groceries prior to arrival,you're out of luck during winter since your on the top of the mountain. Its about 20 to 30min down either direction for them (I shopped on the way in). Things to do are also sparse at this time of year. But, that wasn't the point for our trip, it was to "disappear" for a few days. Bryan was an awesome host. He kept intouch throughout the entire process. I had to make adjustments to my initial occupancy number and cut our trip short a day due to weather related precautions. He was accommodating for each request. Couldn't have had a better host. He invited us back and also made us aware he had other properties on the same resort. All around pleasant and helpful. We will definitely be back!

We had a great stay at Jared's place. Everything was very comfortable -- and the bathrooms and kitchen were super-clean, which was great. It was a very quiet community (winter), and the houses are placed for privacy/good views. The club also had very helpful staff, a nice pool, and a good gym. We were happy there was no ice or snow when we were there, as the driveway is steep. A convenient location related to Boone, Blowing Rock, etc. -- everything seemed about 20 minutes away. Jared was also generous on check-out time for us. And we appreciated the very simple check-out procedure.

Amy’s home was beautifully decorated and extremely clean. It was in a very quiet and peaceful area. Perfect for a weekend getaway!

Great place. Clean, felt like home. Great things to do near by. When I had questions, Christian responded immediately. This was my first Airbnb rental. Excellent experience, I hope he’ll have us back!

This home was the best Airbnb we have ever stayed in! Seriously, you don't need to bring anything except your clothes and food because everything else is provided! Melinda and Craig were wonderful hosts and their home is BEAUTIFUL! Everything is super clean, tidy, and smells wonderful. All the small details make you feel right at home! The surroundings are so peaceful and exactly what you'd want for a mountain getaway! We can't wait to come back!

Despite the weather, we had a wonderful time being stuck at Jimmy’s place. Great company allowed for a lazy weekend stay in a beautiful home! Would highly recommend!

The house was a mile and a half down a well maintained gravel road. Then you turned down a steep drive (city girl) . It was very peaceful. I live in town and it was so nice to sit on the porch and watch the river flow by. Easy access into the river.Visitors daily of deer and rabbits and birds. No sirens or car sounds. Sherri was a great host. Responded quickly with any questions and offered ideas of hiking trails. The house had all you needed in the way of cookware and the beds were comfortable. Enjoyed!

We enjoyed our stay at Paul's place in Jefferson. It was a short drive to the places we like to hike and was a short drive to the cute downtown West Jefferson.

Alison was an amazing host, checking in if we needed anything throughout the trip, making check-in super easy, and offering an amazing home to get away! I will definitely be reaching out to Alison again to stay here when we return!

This is the 3rd time I've stayed in this house, it's a beautiful place with lots or room for everyone. We will back!

This home was the perfect getaway. We really enjoyed exploring Grayson Highlands SP and then coming back to the Airbnb to enjoy the property and home.

Warm, inviting, loads of country charm!!! Two ponds. One to watch ducks, chickens, and turkeys free range in their respective areas. Turtles, frogs, fish, and a water fountain in the other! Sip coffee or wine from comfy rockers on the front porch overlooking it all! Peaceful and relaxing! Hosts Mr Jack and Miss Laurie have thoughtfully prepared their property and home to be all inviting, spotless, and easy to enjoy!!! We will stay there again when visiting the area. Thank you Mr. Jack for our great conversations and sorry we missed Miss Laurie this trip!

Good location. Not far from most places we wanted to go. Clean. Well equipped kitchen. Plenty of room for a large extended family group as we had. The downstairs with separate living area was a great addition.

we had a such great time during our visit. The location is absolutely beautiful. We woke up early just to sit outside and enjoy the nature around us. Kathryn and Paula were amazing hosts. They made us feel so welcome by having very clear directions, plenty of activities, and even birthday goodies! everyone felt very comfortable and enjoyed their time. Cannot wait to return for a longer stay!

We loved our stay. We were celebrating Valentines weekend in Boone for fishing and snowboarding. Matt was very helpful when I asked about the location and proximity to the river. We hooked and caught nice brown trout! They had just undergone an ice storm and the power had been out prior to our arrival. The hosts offered fresh creamer because the one in the refrigerator was most likely spoiled. We loved our stay!

Carol was so easy to communicate with. The farmhouse is quaint and so very quiet and restful. Perfect for a mountain getaway.

We went on a business venture for teaching a Rescue class nearby and all three instructors stayed there for the weekend. The place was clean, neat and provided exactly what was needed. Thanks for your hospitality.

Our family we went to ski at sugar mountain, and we have 4 teenagers. Pam’s house is just right for us. Sweet holiday decorations, we are able to make dinner, a lot of board games,whole family gathered around on holiday. We enjoyed our time here.
